Umm, if chikamagaluru, tirumala, yercaud count as high altitude then nope no issues 😂.
I don't have any plans of driving to the himalayas in the near future..

Do you see any engine noise increase in yours?
No noise.
Only in P2 mode the engine feels rough and noisy from day 1
I don’t use p2 as I feel the engine is stressed
Bro, whats the difference with Single Channel vs Dual Channel?
Single channel controls the fuelling only while the dual channel controls both fuel and turbo Boost.
Dual channel can be used only if the car has VGT (Variable Geometry Turbo) which the brezza has.

It's been around 7months. How is your experience in terms of claimed gain in performance or mileage?
I've done about 8500+ kms with it and with regular P1 & P2 mode usage.
I'm having a good experience. No issues with regards to mileage/turbo/overheat etc.
I Recommend this product.
I did hear some negatives from a person using on his pajero turbo going bad.
We must read the vehicle owner manual, even for stock engine it clearly mentions to idle the car for few minutes after a long drive/aggressive driving. With dieseltronics the forces on turbo is even more, so I usually idle the engine for a minimum of 2.5 - 3 minutes after long drives.
do we have to select the mode each time we start the car or does it remember the last mode it was in?
Remembers the last used mode.

How much power is increased in bhp and in torque??

Warranty is not void as it is plug an play, just remove the device and wiring before giving to service.
We need to understand that just a map change will not end a turbo lag.
While in power mode, the lag Is decreased a lot.
I have not tested in dyno for exact power figures, but 0-60 and 0-100 defenetly feels faster.
Rolling torque has been increased and its more fun to drive now

No, for petrol cars you have to remap the ecu or get a performance ecm seperately

The performance has increased and feels peppier in highway speeds + 1-2 kmpl extra mileage if driven sanely in P1 mode.
I don't really prefer P2 mode, engine feels stressed and intimidating at 2.5k+ rpms.

Yes, pre 2020 all brezza are 1.3 DDiS
How is the power performance in P2?
Its very good, they claim 30% increase in power and torque. Which can be true.
But the engine feels stressed in P2 and very less mileage 😆
