- Hi Motor Enthusiasts out there,
This is a special video i wanted to share with all of you as I love cars and I've been wanting to do this from a very long time. Cruze is a high performance vehicle in India and reaches high speeds effortlessly but it has a turbo lag from 1000rpm to 2000rpm which is irritating. DieselTronic in P1 mode eliminates the lag as well improved efficiency for me. This video is when I hadn't installed BMC air filter, Once I did, The car just turned into a beast. Great upgrade...... But if ur upgrading dieseltronic, u should've upgraded ur suspensions, and ur brake pads especially given the engine is overpowered...... Also a tyre upgrade is mostly suggested coz u don't wanna burn out ur tyres..... Hope u had all these upgrades...... Without these upgrades and just with the raw dieseltronic power the car might get totalled soon......!!!
Cruze already comes with a stiff suspension set and I also recently got it changed to Monroe. The brakes are good as well. It all depends on how you and how much control you have. Just because I've got dieseltronic, I don't go unrealistic speeds. Only when I'm on a highway which is pretty much empty, I go fast otherwise I'm a careful driver. Any vehicle can get totalled if not driven responsibly, dieseltronic isn't necessary for that. I've got Michelin rubber and the performance is great. Overall I don't have any issue with the vehicle as of now, maybe in the future, if I feel it is necessary, I might consider upgrading other things. 😀
That's overthinking !! A more suitable mod would be a better air filter & exhaust .

Hi, i own a chevy cruze and wanted to get the same thing installed in my car.. wanted to check how much increase u are getting in performance in p1 and p2 mode ?????
Hey, okay go for it but make sure all the service is done properly and your cars engine is a great shape before getting it. I haven't run a dyno test but there is a substantial increase in power. It is definitely felt. The early kick in of turbo make it even better to drive in traffic. P1 is supposed to increase the fuel economy but its so much fun that I never bothered about fuel economy which is why I don't get such a great mileage. P2 makes the car crazy, a petrol car I must say. The car feels much smoother and also the power is extreme. I love the p1 mode because it has the right amount of punch to it. Also note that installing dieseltronic will increase the smoke levels especially on a cruze because of its powerful engine. You'll need to get a EGR, manifold and a total service clean up which I recently got done. You can watch my next video to know more.
Black smoke issues need use oil addictive liqui moly or waxpol i used my all diesel cars this product cruze also Engine noise reduced and smoke problem resolved
I've tried diesel additive but did not work out to that extent. So I'm going for a major service.

You're updating a lot of stuff but along with the power is it economic ? Has the average changed ? In a good or a bad way.
The economy has improved in economy mode but not in any other mode. P1 mode is supposed to increase the mileage but it's soo fun to drive that I haven't cared about the economy so maybe that's the reason that there is no improvement. It hasn't become bad though. Hope it helps 😉
Also wheel spacers are a way to go? Lol too many questions i saw a dope video where he used the wheel spacers plus really sweet rims search for " cruze bokeh ads" on youtube if you want to
@@BaldevSingh-yg4xt nope, wheel spacers will spoil your alignment as well as steering rack especially for these roads and if you care about performance, don't change your rims.

Used the RD box full black smoke plus car would go to limp mode in p2 mode..sold the rd box.. remapped through wolfmoto insane power and done one lakh kms post remap not even a single issue faced
Oh okay. I didn't face any such issue. I'm quite happy with the performance currently and also the ability to switch between modes. But surely I'll get my next car remapped 😀
How was the mileage after the remap? If there wasn't a substantial drop, I guess I might try switching. I'll use the RD box on something else and get my car remapped 😃

Hi, yes it does. One of my subscriber with dieseltronic got 24 mileage in economy mode in slow speeds without ac. When I drove to Goa in speeds of 100/120 with Ac, I got 14 mileage. So yeah it definitely helps.

Bro, I am planning to install dual channel in my kia carens AT, its brand new only 1k kms done. Can I go-ahead, questions are 1.Dual channel will not have black smoke issues,
2. Long term issues
3. Warranty void? Some say there will be traces even though it is plug and play . Pls be knid enough to help me
Hey, sinces it's new, you can go ahead with either a tune or piggy pack ecu without worries of parts breaking but I would suggest waiting until 10k kms for its first service.
1. Black smoke won't start now, it might after you have done over 50k.kms but shouldn't if you are maintaining it well. Newer cars having dpf regeneration system should avoid black smoke.
2. I never faced any issues but honestly I recommend getting a ecu tune instead of a piggy back ecu. Go with a trusted tuner like code6, etuners etc. they will guide you better with what your car needs and what the performance figures will be and about warranty details as well.
3. Warranty void might happen since newer cars have all parameters logged, a good scanner will be able to pick up alteration in the fuel and boost changes even after you remove the plug and play system and since you will have engine warranty for sometime, I don't think it's the best idea. But as I said, I'm not an expert in this, so going to a tuning shop is better as they will give you options to tune without losing warranty.

I wont drive my vehicle hard and mostly change gears @2k rpm and my monthly running wont me more than 5k kms. Should I not be worried about wear and tear of parts by this routine after installation of Dieseltronic? Also cant wait untill 10k kms as my father finds it too irritating while driving and that in turn gets me scolding 😄 . So A stupid question to you,can I trust KIA or any new modern car that there wont be any other problems not because of Dieseltronic but manufacturing issues popping up for warranty?
But is it really possible fo coders to tune it without losing the warranty? Am surprised. If yes its a big wow for me.
Do engineers in ASS will be able to drill through much about Dieseltronic. Heard most work in a guided manner and there isn't enough tools or tech to dig in that much as per one of my reliable coder.
@@karthikrtr7114 there won’t be any wear and tear of parts coz of Dieseltronic or tuning. They usually don’t cross the limit or even get close to the limit of what these engines can do. It’s just a safe tune that they provide in piggy back as well as tuning so you needn’t work on those aspects. I’m really not sure about warranty and if it will be void which is why I suggest asking a professional tuner regarding the same or getting in touch with the guys are race dynamics. Dieseltronic is a standardised tune which has been there from a long time. I feel the tuners understand the car and tune accordingly which is why for new car I suggested getting a tune. What the tuners do is, they give you a switchable map which will put you back to stock when you send for service and they won’t know anything. This is what I’ve heard, you need to research more on this.

I use synthetic oil which the company recommends. I've got it changed in the Chevrolet service center itself. I'm again getting it changed soon and I'm planning on Shell helix. Why in getting it changed again, I will tell in my next video, so stay tuned 😀

How is dieseltronic long term reliability. Becoz came across some negative reviews like device failure
Haven't faced any issues till now. Works great. Love it. Although I'm planning to sell it and get my car ecu tuned just for the sake of videos to show people if there is a significant difference. I haven't faced any issues with the device itself.

@@veeral01 yes, it is the Fb600/20 replacement air filter bought for Rs.6,990/- from powerhaus, Bangalore. I didn't go down there, but called them and got it shipped. I installed it myself.

P2 mode is insane, but I haven't used it much because my car used to give out a lot of black smoke. I've done something now which will be my next video on how I reduced the smoke. I use P1 all the time which gives a 15% increase in performance and economy and it's true. Performance is mind blowing, the turbo kicks in very early and you are at high speeds in no time. The mileage has also improved for me.

I have fitted dieseltronic in my duster 110. To my surprise, the character of engine has greatly changed. Not only does it run faster, but also gives better mileage. In p2 mode, power increase is around 35-40% . P1 mode raises power to around 15% and significantly improves the mileage. On highways I am getting doing over 17 kms to a liter and in the city it is around 15.5 which is huge going by real time figures of duster. P2 is a crazy mode that I haven't used much because I have driven mostly in the city. But whatever amount I drove in p2, believe me, it was going bonkers. Surge of torque is unbelievable. You can clearly hear the whoosh sound of torque coming from your hyperactive engine.

No, it's a plug and play system, you can remove it and make it stock any time you want. The warranty is also not effected. Make sure you remove the unit when giving for service in the showroom.
