Malenia has some phase where she input reads the player I think, so if the player does nothing, sometimes she'll just square off for a while waiting for you to make a move.
Also idk but she almost killed the birb before even hitting second phase, I mean rykard was closer to death than she was. Granted her healing passive definitely made it easier for her to win.
The death birdie could probably replace the laser golem in future videos, its clearly the most dangerous thing in this game that's not named either Malenia or Malekith and it has a more entertaining battle style for watching. The golem is strong but its usually just the same slow swing axe attack and then summon laser routine for 5 mins each fight.
The little scream it does is probably the most broken attack in the game: it comes out super-fast with no wind-up or warning and just instantly eats around 20-25% of the other boss’ HP bar! 😮 Edit: Watch it annihilate Mogh 20:48 😅
The moveset of the Deathrite birdies are insane. And so many of them can one-shot or practically one-shot you even if you have massive Vigor. Crazy. They had to have been designed with Co--Op and summons in mind. Although they are EZ PZ if you use holy pots or pure holy damage weapons.
People forget that in the lore she and Radagon originally fought each other. No clear victor was said, so it's implied they were working on similar playing fields, at least magically.

@@gamingwithhusnain906 Black flame is what the godskins use and deal fire damage and damage over time health% Ghost flame is what the death birds use and deals magic damage and frostbite buildup
These attacks are not that powerful against the player, because they knock him down, making the player have invisisible frames and they do not get damage. Most bosses don't have i-frames, so they get all possible damage ticks, which add up to numbers over 10k. In addition, the strongest bird ability, Death Blight, which should instakill opponents after filling scale doesn't work due to the fact that bosses simply don't have the possibility to get this effect. It's the same nerf for bird as don't include Mohg's Nihil or Hoara's grabs.
You do understand boss are not balanced around other bosses right? It’s reasonable for the player due to their roll and not being an, well uhhh, NOT BEING AN AI.

The reason holy pots melt them is because you stack the holy vulnerability with the increased damage from hittimg the head. I dont think the elden beast ever got that bonus damage
I only knew this as the boss where you take 4k damage from standing under it longer than 3 seconds and get told you should have leveled vigor. Now I know it has the capacity to *catch Placidusax.* No wonder Marika outlawed death.

Death Rite Bird's commencing vertical missile barrage on Fire Giant and Elden Beast is a true Armored Core experience. It's like Answerer vs Cabracan/Stigro, and Answerer vs Motherwill. Good stuff.
Ehhhhhh Melania nukes them. The twins though are a strong duo. The AI usually acts accordingly some bosses on the other hand will either spam the same attack or will have a busted AI that won’t do anything. Maliketh sodes that more than any other boss from what I’ve seen.
I’m curious on how The strongest Magma Wyrm would be against all the bosses. And I’m glad that we are finally able to see the full power of the deathrite birb on everybody.
I love birds in real life but birds in video games drive me crazy. I kept losing to this guy over and over again. I think it’s mainly the fact that he keeps moving around, but once you finally get close to him he’ll do some quick or powerful attack. So it really sucked to see him pull all of these wins out of his ass, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. Still, I have to admit I’m a little impressed at how much damage he can do with the scream and aoe.
You realize everything you just stated is what every boss ever feels when they fight you? Edit: They’re impressed how much damage and aoe your screams do when you’re raging
I usually mention this as the boss I found to be the hardest- I know there are ways to cheese it, but fighting it straight on, as a mage, was a nightmare. I beat Malenia easily, but this thing really humbled me.
You should do a free for all with all the strongest NPCs in the game. This bird, the Black Birds in the mountain tops, the giant hand, the laser golem, the strongest Black Blade Kindred, maybe one of the lightning dragons in Farum Azula
You dont need a bunch of mobs. The golem at the bottom of series of drops in cailid, near to where you get the ash of war for completing the redmanes puzzle would be enough imo.
And if you actually do this, can you please add the hardest variant of the Revenants? I just thought about how ridiculous the ones in Miquella's Haligtree are. TOGETHA!
@@piedpiper1185 Toga-there!!!
I love how intense the music for Godrick's fight was yet really it was just him struggling to stay alive 💀
This one definitely felt more arbitrary than most due to how much of the birb's damage output comes from two moves that it seems to use at random. I was definitely expecting it to fall off harder against the late game bosses that do holy damage, but really only Maliketh got the curbstomp I was expecting.
Astel absolutely should have beat it, the ticking damage from that fire explosion is ridiculous.
edit, just saw against the golem, 16000 damage in less than a second o-o
I mean, Radagon was curb stomping it right up until that absurd ticking fire damage attack. Its just stupid how much it does that he didnt manage even one more hit after that.
I really thought fire giant was going to pull it off. Should have kept smacking it with his lid
Bjorn: "I enabled all grabs.."
Bird: "I know what I must do."
Auraloux: yes we do
Man I love Godfrey so much he is such a CHAD! The one big explosion attack that deleted almost every boss! CHADfrey took it like it was nothing and proceeded to make spaghetti out of the bird lol
Reason why he’s another of my favorites alongside Maliketh
Ghostflame is one of the most interesting concepts in the game, i wished we got more of it.
Edit: according to some item descriptions, the Deathbirds have a god called "The Twin Bird" or something like this, the concept of Death is interesting already, knowing that there is a god of death (Twin Bird) makes me wish we get to fight it.
Still can't quite understand the difference with the black flame tbh
@@BjornTheBear The black flame is of divine origin and connected to Destined Death. The ghostflame was produced by burning corpses in pre-Golden Order funeral rites.
@@BjornTheBear black flame is fire damage and has damage over time effect, ghostflame is magic damage and inflicts frostbite

I think it would be fun to have miniature versions of the bosses as summons. Like what if you used their "rememberances" and put them in an empty spirit vessel of some kind? Like a doll or something. Make it like half the size of the Tarnished lol.
....so basically I want a baby Elden Beast as a summon lmao

Malenia was practically working to hand the burb that win with how passive she was throughout...so random how she suddenly lays back with certain enemies or bosses
I suppose we should be grateful that Hoarah was here to show everyone how it's properly done
@@taragnor If you space Melania well enough yourself she will also be extremely passive
She's not a very aggressive boss to be honest, lots of moments where she just walks or does slow attacks
Or keep both lol
@@BjornTheBearyep because lore wise, the birds were the strongest before the erdtree
The little scream it does is probably the most broken attack in the game: it comes out super-fast with no wind-up or warning and just instantly eats around 20-25% of the other boss’ HP bar! 😮
Edit: Watch it annihilate Mogh 20:48 😅
That pissed me of i love me some good moghin
Along with singing mother bats scream.
Yeah, I beat them using the the Halo Scythe. Miquella's Ring of Light deals with them especially well.
I feel like despite being such an early game boss Rennala did some pretty respectable damage to it
People forget that in the lore she and Radagon originally fought each other. No clear victor was said, so it's implied they were working on similar playing fields, at least magically.
Why does this bird do so much damage?!?!? It is no reason for it to have three seperet attacks that put end game boss to shame! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!??!
What make him op is black flam
And ghost death
@@gamingwithhusnain906 Black flame is what the godskins use and deal fire damage and damage over time health%
Ghost flame is what the death birds use and deals magic damage and frostbite buildup
@@Xgenstudioz777the ghost flame explosion one shots most players as it deals more than 2000 dmg
I love how the bird’s strongest attack is a scream.
Man, Radahn got evaporated lmao, I love how Maliketh is the master of death, he always teaches the noobs how to actually use death, and damn Placi was stopped in his tracks.
That was the strangest Elden Beast fight. I thought he could one shot the bird.
Maliketh never disappoints, hes soo cool and extremely powerful and almost never looses a fight
and doesn't afraid of anything
Worst sin FromSoftware has commited is make player fight Maliketh from half hp.
wait what, "never fails to disappoint", i think you mean "never disappoints" what you said is basically that maliketh always disappoints, which doesn't mesh with the rest of your sentence. "never fails to disappoint" is used in a derogatory manner and means someone will never live up to expectations and will always act the way you expect them to.
@@pajeetsingh true, he should have more hp and fight starting at 70%
Malekith in his own arena beats everything
Death Rite Bird's commencing vertical missile barrage on Fire Giant and Elden Beast is a true Armored Core experience.
It's like Answerer vs Cabracan/Stigro, and Answerer vs Motherwill. Good stuff.
Godskin duo's AI just never stops surprising me , even the hardest of bosses are no match for them
True, although I feel like if the bird could’ve gotten off it’s nuke it would’ve won.
Even gave him the home court advantage
Ehhhhhh Melania nukes them. The twins though are a strong duo. The AI usually acts accordingly some bosses on the other hand will either spam the same attack or will have a busted AI that won’t do anything. Maliketh sodes that more than any other boss from what I’ve seen.
One of the bird's attack would have kill one of them at 13:48 if the ai wasn't targeting something else.
And the Noble's roll could've ended the fight instantly if the tracking wasn't broken against other bosses.
The tic damage of the ghost flames that the bird leaves on the ground after his big AOE is something else...
That's so broken
It’s the most ridiculously OP move in the game by far, and don’t even get me started on the range of that attack.
I love Ghostflame weapons, spells, and bosses no matter how OP each of these can be
Holy cow that grab attack the bird did on Mohg was brutal
Daddy Loux showing up literally everyone again through the power of protein shakes
4:48 Honestly there's something enchanting about seeing two ethereal beings fight inside a damp cave.
A rare win for Rykard and the fight was actually fun to watch.
Rykard wins like 95% of the matchups. He is far too tanky.
what are you talking about? Rykard almost always wins. He just has too much health and permanent AoE staggering with his lava.
What other bosses have you seen best him? There's only a handful that can kill him
I’m curious on how The strongest Magma Wyrm would be against all the bosses. And I’m glad that we are finally able to see the full power of the deathrite birb on everybody.
Great Wyrm Theodorix?
@@hydroshock1853 yes and he did it already
The fact Maliketh was able to get through that attack is impressive, considering that staggered any other boss that got hit by it. 24:53
Same here, this thing took me more attempts to beat than Malenia
Hoarah out here humbling Death Rite Bird with that plunge attack cancel. My god that was beautiful. Truly the greatest gigachad
You should do a free for all with all the strongest NPCs in the game. This bird, the Black Birds in the mountain tops, the giant hand, the laser golem, the strongest Black Blade Kindred, maybe one of the lightning dragons in Farum Azula
That would take quite the toll on the pc tho, lol
You dont need a bunch of mobs. The golem at the bottom of series of drops in cailid, near to where you get the ash of war for completing the redmanes puzzle would be enough imo.
And if you actually do this, can you please add the hardest variant of the Revenants? I just thought about how ridiculous the ones in Miquella's Haligtree are. Well every Revenant in the game suck to deal with, but those ones in particular are awful unless you hit em with a couple Lord's Heal Incantations and can't forget the hardest rune bear
@@sterben_alone3083 I actually feel like the Revenants are the worst designed creatures in the game. What kind of shit design is a creature that your either need to spawn kill to get rid of or just face the fact that your gioing to die based on absurd rng.
If your high rune levels of stupidity then nothing matters. For anyone trying to beat the game on sub level 100 though and on NG+ or ++ etc, their is no healing window, their is no dodge rolling, they do not stagger... The revenants at the bottom of the haligtree imo are fromsofts example of just an absolute trash designed creature.
Even in the shunning grounds the ogres are a non issue, they stagger, they can be back stabbed, the revenant that spawns in the dark room at the bottom of the sewerage pipes is a fking abomination though. Having to use niche crap like bloodhounds step cheese or using faith heals as damage is not a well crafted solution.
I think though the creature that would beat just about everything would be that laser golem near the bottom of the canyon where the redmane painting puzzles solution ash of war is.
The thing isn't fast but its health pool is about 100 billion and its damage is bonkers. Fromsofts idea of a joke.
Snowy Farum is really cool
Looking forward to see more of those map changes in future videos

Now we only need somebody to stop Radahn during his meteor attack.
Ya frr, he like studied his attacks and remembered he was gonna fly towards him, he was like "nahh homie, I got something for that" lol
I honestly thought Radahn had a decent chance since he was getting in a fair bit of damage at range.
And then the bird proceeded to evaporate Radahn’s health like it was water on the surface of the sun 😳😳
Definitely want that rematch for Radahn and Mohg.
Man, this may be the best one yet! I couldn't even tell you how many times I had to rewind on some of those fights, it was crazy. Now I want to see a Deathrite Bird vs. Black Blade Kindred duel. I also don't feel as bad about losing to this guy so much, some of that damage is outrageous
I never realized how strong this one was. I’m assuming it’s the one next to Ordina by the frozen waterfall? I’ve never had trouble fighting the death rite birds, partially due to getting the dodge timing to a T, but this is crazy. I’ve actually died more times by the damn magic spamming mausoleum right next to it😂😂
Don't mention the mausoleum. I think i was on a hot streak for a while vs bosses and in general until i met my personal nemesis. Died like 10 times in 3 minutes b/c i was too stubborn and impatient. 🤣

When they both die, the bird wins because the video title says if the boss can survive the bird, not beat it
I think the farum azula greater ancient dragons should be in the video. They are like a buffed fusion of Fortisax and Lanseax. The one that lands on the bridge is super strong.
Dude, this bird is no joke it took me 20 or so tries to beat this thing.

Seeing Hoarah Loux absolutely YEET this damn thing certainly helps me feel better about the deaths they managed to get on me.

Its nice to see some new baddies duke it out
I feel like there’s 5 main things that lead a boss to being OP against other bosses
1. At least 1 move that hit’s multiple times/sends out many projectiles for decent damage
2. How often is this move used (is it used once? Is it used only during certain moments like phase 2 or phase 2 transition?
3. What status effects does the boss cause
4. Vitality check
5. Agressive boss (aka doesn’t edge walk constantly)
Honestly compared to some of these guys, Rennala did great. I'd love to see every boss in the game in a free for all, if that's possible
Tbh, the fact that the bird did so well against Radagon & Elden beast says a lot since they're literally dealing massive damage to it from holy weakness while it is neutral / resisted with it's magic damage & physical.
