I have a Vitamix but I think it's probably up to all this. We make great blue cheese dip every Christmas using it. This gives me some ways that I can utilize it a little more. Thanks for the vid! Cheers!

I just got a blendtec and thought I would be doing lots with it but the recipe book that comes with it is uninspiring and can't seem to find much on the net either.. Thank you have found your uses great.. Have tried making ice cream and failed but will use my twister jar and make smaller quantities with less liquid. X thank you again

Can you blend hot stuff? Like a boiling soup?
what if you have a blendtek with no soup cycle. Is there still a way to make soup?
So my BlendTec doesn't have "soup," etc. Just a smoothie symbol & the numbers 60 90 180 (seconds) and a bar for increasing speed. What do you suppose would be the setting for the soup technique? Ditto - what would be ice cream or batter? I wonder if BlendTec has these things defined somewhere.

I am planning to buy a Blendtec. This video definitely helps to have an idea about what it can do. Even though it is impressive that it can blend an I-Phone that doesn't help me because I am not planning to do it in my kitchen. I look forward to seeing more videos of what you can do in the Blendtec. By the way, what model were you using?

ICE CREAM! In a blender! That's a new one on me.
I made turkey salad with leftover cooked turkey. Took about 10 pulses to get it to a pate. I'll upload a video of me making powerder sugar in 8 seconds and blending whole oranges (peel and all) into cremecicles.

I just made a whole juice with carrots, and ginger and apple.. And a bit of water. Its thick and frothy but it actually tastes nice.
Your title.states things you didn't know you could make in your blender, but the blender has preset buttons for almost all of these things. Not very helpful
