Yes its totally normal and it WILL happen, its called purging and in the first 2 week of tretinoin you will see redness, skin peelinh, ichiness all over your face but its totally normal. As a beginner you should always go for 0.025% concentration and frequently use moisturizer as it helps with the dryness. Avoid using it near eyes nose and mouth as they are really sensitive spots and might give you pigmentation.

Gel should be better as it absorbs into your skin fast. If you have combination skin you are in good luck with this medication cause the purging will be way less than it for dry or oily skin. The moisturizer will be fine for you aswell

But it totally depends on your skin! Everyone has different skin situations so it totally depends on your skin and some gets results in 1 week while for dome it takes months

@@shaihanfsm1426 its best to start with 0.025% one cause its a lesser concentration so it will make the purging easier while my tretinoin is 0.05% which is a higher concentration.

Aquasoft FC is paraben free, non comedogenic moisturizer. Not only moisturizes but ait also protects the skin from both UVA and UVB rays so its not harmful for long term use.

Hey love, you should use tretinoin for maximum 2 months and then go back to your normal skincare which is Facewash-moisturizer-sunscreen

You won’t easily get acne once your face is completely cleared. If you get pimple leave it and don’t touch it. Yeah if you get acne breakout in future then you can again start to use tretinoin

You will be purging for sure but thats nothing to worry about because if you continue using tretinoin you will definitely get clear glass lookinv skin.
If you are worried you can try this method.
Use tretinoin on alternative days and apply the sandwich method. Apply moisturizer then after 5 minutes apply tretinoin, wait for 20 minutes then again apply your moisturizer. This way the purging effect will be very very less.

Its very normal to have purging and there’s no need to fear it. Its like 2-3 week of slight dryness/ichiness/skin peeling and years of clear skin.
You should know and focus on your main priority which is to clear your problem with acne. And you can always reduce the pain of purging by moisturizing every time you feel dryness on your face.
