Very nice! I live for these empanadas, the crust, powered sugar and lime are the best. Very well done! The video and the recipe well shot and explained step by step. There is no short cuts if you want them to be like the real Peruvian Empanada. I’m gonna try to make my own

La receta original se prepara con manteca de cerdo, pero la verdad yo prefiero usar mantequilla por que me gusta mas el sabor que le da y aca en Australia es dificil conseguir manteca de cerdo. Lard va a darte una "flakier" pastry porque tiene un higher melting point que la mantequilla entonces cuando estes amasandola no se va a ablandar mucho, pero de sabor, no hay nada como la mantequilla!

Hi Tom! We don’t have Peruvian quesadillas 😮 We eat the Mexican style quesadillas but there’s no Peruvian version. I would imagine using this same meat mix with some cheese in some tortillas could make a Peruvian version jajajjaa

I've come back to this video a few times to make this recipe. It just dawned on me that she says 180° c fan forced... I'm guessing that same thing as convection.
