@@crankychris2 they upgraded the rear suspension then in ( I believe 2005) they switched to rack and pinion steering from recirculating ball if it were me personally, I would buy a 2008 to 2011
I bought a 2006 P71 with 169k and 405 idle hours last winter. Found it on GovDeals, paid 1600 for it. Same department owned it since new, Southern California, no rust. Paint is tired, but it has all the service records. I feel like I got a pretty good deal.
I absolutely 100 % could not agree more. Today's quality, way down, all the low grade tech a and electrical crap to go wrong just after the warranty period. For what they build today they are worth about 1/2 if the sale price. I will maintain my older vehicle. We're done with car payments. Never again
Just bought a 2000 grand marquis ls w 82k for $2000 in Georgia. Paints a little rough and the bumper is broken but inside is very clean w no rips or stains in the cloth seats. I’m stoked.
Got a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis for 700 from a junkyard. Bought it in 2019. Put in an axle on the passenger side water pump paint is peeling., it has the spark plug issue. Got it with 185000 miles on it now it has 238800. I am keeping it until the car dies.😊
In 2016 I bought a 2003 Crown Victoria LX with 88,000 miles for $3200.I put about another $2000 in repairs and maintenance into it shortly after. It now has 191000 miles but has been the best-used car i have ever bought. All it needed was routine maintenance and normal wear parts. I do live in NW PA, the rust is getting to it. still pretty solid, I plan to drive it as long as I can.
I am 60 years of age. Have been a professional driver, from cars to 18 wheelers, hundreds of thousands of miles. The CV, esp. a P71 is the best car ever.
Just picked up an '03 LS Ultimate, black on black w/ 169k for $2200. Immaculate interior, service records, preventative maintenance, one rusted rock chip but no rot to speak of. You gotta keep eyes peeled and jump on the deals but they're there. Lots of old folks selling who dont know/care about value
A few months ago got an 08 ex Nevada highway patrol detective car for $4k at 170k miles and 2100 idle hours. Surplus vehicle so it was only used for detective/admin use. The guy I got it from was an actor who took great care of it. Once I got it I ceramic coated it and gave it new front struts that’s all it needed. Also came with LED spotlights ready to install. The Frenchmen and British pilots at the airport offered $7500 for it and a couple others gave me their numbers in case I ever sell. Sucks that a few years ago pops wouldn’t let me get one with less mileage when they were going for $1-2k before I turned 18. After buying one myself. I can no longer find good ones below 6k A couple good condition ones care going for 11-18k and one just sold for $14k in my city at 110k miles. Problem is people are actually paying that much so that’s justifying the price hike
Those Crown Vics are so fun to drive on the fast lane of the freeway. My bud had one in the mid 90's and when we drove on that lane even slower than the flow cars always moved over to the middle lane.
Usually the plastic intake manifold has to be replaced by about 190 k miles. I have a 2000 Lincoln Town Car. 225 k miles. Everything replaced. Manifold, air shocks, front suspension, etc. Glad to know prices rising. If I ever sell it or trade it. But probably just keep driving it forever. Thanks.
A few years ago, I bought a 1998 P71 factory white detectives cruiser in mint condition with 80k miles (I still own it) for $1,300. I then bought a 2009 LAPD Metro unit with Kevlar lined doors for $4,000. Can't really find those that easily for any amount now days!
I noticed this too with me. I've wanted a Crown Vic forever. Before I started driving.. they've always been my dream car. I picked up a 1992 CVLX 10/29/23 ($2k, 82kmiles). The Aero body has really really grown on me especially with the grill-less front the 92's have and now I wouldnt ever want any other Crown Vic because this one is mine!!
@hakeemsd70m no such thing as a good dealer (used or new) in my personal experience. Have owned 10+ cars and that's my view. I use Marketplace and look for cars with for sale signs by the road.
I agree totally. I have owned five Panthers over the years, including my current one, a 2007 GM GS with a little over 100 K. I purchased it six years ago this month for $6500 with about 45 K from the original owner. Besides basic maintenance, I ve had to replace the fuel tank and pump after the straps rusted off, causing the tank to drop and drag the ground as well as a starter and alternator. I've had some cosmetic work done as well due to paint peel and minor rust. I plan to hold on to her for now as I know I won't see the likes of another. I'm seeing fewer and fewer of these on the road as time goes on. Eventually, it will be like the Chevy Caprice and Cadillac Brougham. A rare, if ever, sighting outside of an enthusiasts collection, a car show, or the salvage yard!! That's the reality!!
I think the only way to get a cheap one in nice shape, is locally. My nextdoor neighbor sold his moms Grand Marquis, and I got it for 3k, at 99k miles. Its a base model, but very clean. But CVs will command a premium, as to the TCs with higher options, Signatures, Cartiers, etc.
@@CarolinaCrown98 The car dont know and I aint telling it. I will put another 2K into it to make it perfect and be all in for 5K. Beats having a car loan payment.😉
@@PATRICKFULLAN Definitely! It’s dumb to me to buy a new cheap plastic vehicle that’s ridiculously expensive when you could buy an old one made good without making payments.
I bought mine from Chicago Motor Inc, a 2010 P7B with a listing of $12,700, negotiated it down to $11,000, 51k miles on the clock, 2600 idle hours. Since my mom is paying for it, she doesn't trust anything below 10k, and I always wanted a PI Crown Vic, so the price increase actually helped me in my case?
Sadly being in the rust belt (mine is 17 years old now, had to patch the rockers last year, needs a gas tank and a flex plate likely now sadly) I'll likely be selling mine here and get a newer camry (plus 7 bucks a gallon here in Canada is a big ouch for dailying a crown vic at this point). But even after I'll always love the old Crown Vics. I bought my P71 5 years ago and since then I've only seen one or two other clean ones in that period here on marketplace so I lucked out for sure. The days of finding plentiful and cheap Crown Vics are done 100% as you said. Even getting one is nearly impossible around here, let alone for a cheap price. Even ones needing repairs are 3500 to 4000 dollar cars nowadays. Mine is still only sitting at 179K kms (112k Mi) & 272hr. Wild how much things have changed in the last 5 years. Even before COVID the prices on these were already starting to increase.
That’s very true! The sad part is they will never come back down for this model just due to its demand and lack of availability now. I’m still on my hunt for a stone interior 2011, but at this point I highly doubt I will come across it. If I do it will be very expensive. Our gas prices are $3 a gallon here in the lower part of the states, so driving the Crown Victoria is a breeze, however, as a cop I do have a take home vehicle which means I never have to use my own gas money to go to work. These cars are luxury based for my use as it stands. Even if I did have to support fuel, I don’t see $3 being too bad here. I knew prices were out of this world up there! I can’t imagine spending that much on gas, and I hope it’s a long time before it happens here. Maybe someday there will be a guy up there who obtains a better mpg vehicle, and is willing to take a ridiculously low modern price for a Vic you can snatch later. Who knows!
@@CarolinaCrown98 who knows. But yeah they're not economical to drive up here. Driving a 2020 camry for example you save about $2100 to 2400 a year on fuel alone over a P71 here in Canada. Plus no rust for example and generally less maintenance since newer and a Toyota, it pays for itself pretty quickly. I'll be very sad the day the vic.goes but it's coming eventually.
Got my 1998 Crown Vic LX for $1000 back in 2020 at 125k miles, nearly at 150K miles soon and she has been going very strong. Had to replace intake manifold, alternator, brakes/rotors, and some steering components throughout those 4 years, well worth it
It’s not easy to get one for a reasonable price. But I got lucky and picked up an 05 Detective version for a great price last week and out of the 7 I’ve owned it is the nicest. Another at the same auction that was a little newer and nicer went for 3k more.
@@JZ_Cars Not a thing wrong with 05. I prefer the 06 and up just because it’s nice knowing the idle time regardless of people’s opinion of what that matters, but it’s nice knowing the use.
@@CarolinaCrown98 Yeah I found out more about the 05 being less desirable after I’d already won the auction. Rookie move I guess but this one is in great shape for the age.
As part of the younger generation of panther enthusiasts. Prices have gone to extremes. I’m also a 90s Camry enthusiast and you can’t even get a good condition 90s Camry for less than 3,500. In August I’m planning to purchase a panther.
Best wishes on getting a good one for a decent price. I’m not sure that’s going to happen easily. I hope you’re at least willing to pay $6,000 at the minimum. Maybe $8,000-$12,000 for pristine condition. All of mine except for my daily driver were right at or above $10,000 each.
I agree, and disagree. Most individuals looking at panther platform cars aren’t looking at the mileage or condition for the most part. For a car that hasn’t been manufactured in over 10 years you’re not really going to find stuff in great condition. in the metro Detroit area, for panther stuff, i usually see around 2.5-4k.
My first Crown Vic was in 2007 and 20 Crown Vics since then. Now I only have one that I'm selling for all of $1000 and yet, they still try to get the price lowered.
I saw the prices constantly going up and thought it was time. I fortunately found a 2009 CPVI with 78,000 miles that was in the San Antonio Auction for 8k in November 2023. I'd say its in 9/10 condition, it does have the clear coat peeling, but other than that, it has been an amazing car. The LAPD still have roughly 500 NEW CVPIs in storage that will eventually be put in service once the older ones phase out. They stock piled them knowing they were stop building them. I'd imagine in 5 years those cars will be in the 20k range in auction.
May 2024 I bought a silver 2003 crown victoria LX with leather interior, from the original owner. 109,000 miles. I paid 5,500. Car was garaged its whole life, clean grandpa car. So happy I bought it! And I'm in Los Angeles CA.
I have a 2009 CVPI SAP from the NYS MTA in 2017 for 6k, it had 62k miles and 291 hrs. Silver, rug, bench seat, cd player, 3.55’s trunk pack. Today it has 152k 423hrs, thank God I found a factory intake mine is seeping a bit. Going to just keep it going 👍 And no rot either.
They're getting expensive. I bought a 2000 gold P71 w/ civilian appearance package with 88K miles for $3200 a year ago. It's a peach. Deals can be found, but they are harder to find. Rust free Alabama car.
My crown Vic is from the GSP of Georgia, all black , push bar , L3 communications dash cam with computer monitor , lights and siren - I took the lights and siren out by the way . And has the police center console with radio controls, bars in windows , and the paint was in really good condition it still looks wet , it had 91,000 with 2888 I idle hours , I had to replace the fan assembly, spark plugs, coils, air filter, serpentine belt and tires, it was 10,000 $ out the door , 6k $ in maintenance, but I love it , it still has the owner manual and there’s like seven books they all are new books never used, GSP did a lot of work to it as well , I would sell it for 40,000 because I’m not getting rid of it
A new subscriber from the UK 🇬🇧 here. I love these Ford Crown Victoria Police cars. Just my opinion but the front end of a white or black car with a push is menacing (probably just a movie thing but lol) The Ford Explorer Police Utility SUV is a cool car too. Its nice to hear a cops opinion of these cars, love the channel- keep up the great work bro ..
Great video believe it or not I picked up a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis LS ultimate addition with 108,000 original miles one owner Garrage kept for 6500, I considered that a deal here in Michigan. These cars are getting really High priced now, they are getting 5to6 grand for what I consider hoopties.
I live in the state of maine and crown vics are far and few between here and i just purchased one as a first vehicle for $4500 its a 1998 lx civilian with leather interior and air ride with 57,000 miles 3rd owner has no rust and i do not know if that was a good deal or not?
@@CarolinaCrown98 thank you for the reply it is good to know that i got a good deal, i have always loved the panther platform as my grandfather had a lincoln town car when i was little they are very comfortable vehicles
I bought a 2008 CVPI with 20k miles and 228 idle hours in August 2023 for $7,100. I’m in Connecticut and the car was in Mass. I almost dropped my phone when I saw the price and bought it the next day. Everything is legit and it is mint! It just hit 28k miles and it rides like it’s brand new. I was lucky the car was garaged and kept in great shape. The previous owner bought it from Chicago Motor Cars in 2017 with 16k miles. It’s my daily driver and I love it.
The last time I saw them going at auction(live & online)for todays prices was around 2000-2012 when cab companies were buying every single one they could get their hands on for top dollar! 2013-2021 was when prices got reasonable and when I bought some nice clean ones for cheap. For a while during that period you could get a decent one for under $2000! The rough & wrecked ones were $400-$850 and the mint lower mileage unmarked/detective cars were $2500-$4000. I bought a blue unmarked detective 2008 SAP identical to the one in your thumbnail from the PA state police live auction for around $2000 out the door in 2021. 125k miles with 199 idle hours! Was listed with the non runners advertised with a transmission issue. Only mechanical problem I found was a sticking shifter you had to jiggle to take it out of park. I drove it around and there is nothing wrong with the car! Assigned to the southern part of the state-aside from slightly rusty rockers it’s pretty solid. 2022 was the last of the cheap CVPI’s for me,online auction from a medium size southern city-seemed like they were selling off the last batch of 30 white CVPI’s. I was after 2 but ended up with 4 due to the listings ending at around the same time & nobody outbid my low proxy bids? All model year 2011 mileage from 85k-108k around 5k idle hours out the door for $5600-around what ONE goes for today! I know I’ll never see them that cheap again.
Sounds like you got some lucky finds! You definitely won’t find these deals anymore due to the way the vehicles have been treated, and the newest one will be 13 years old very sadly in August.
Bought a 04 Lincoln town car with 60k miles garage kept no rust at all for 7k couple years back i love that car. Bout 10 years ago i had a grand marquis i really liked them to
lol I bought a 01 Grand Marquis that a guy got from his grandpa passing that was garaged it's entire life for $2750 a week ago. 165k miles with zero rust and new tires in 2019 right before it was parked. Had to buy a battery but I drove it home and parked it. Still need to change the trans fluid and the oil but it should last me another 10 years easy. I just started stocking up on oil and parts and it was my third panther.
I’ve owned my ‘08 Norsea Blue since 2013. Bought it with 96k and 300 idle hrs. It now has 126k and 416 idle hrs. It sadly has sat a lot, and needs some TLC . I’m getting started on that. My three biggest projects are replacing the driver side fender. It’s retired from New Haven IN.. so it has some cancer. Hard to find a Norsea fender! The AC is hot. Compressor comes on for two seconds and shuts off.. and .. power steering is out. Not sure if it’s the pump or the variable assist sensor. Needless to say I have some work to do. Paid $6000 for it on 2013.
@@CarolinaCrown98 I want all the latest creature comfort features that can be installed. Basically an interior overhaul. A backup camera, cruise control (repaired/replaced), new seats, new carpet, steering column, modern shocks/struts to tighten up loose handling, etc. Really a whole new dashboard with 2024 functionality if that’s possible. Sort of a “Pimp My Ride” makeover.
@@grizzayallday4948 Awesome! I’m confident it’s a possibility, but would cost a shinny penny for sure. At least the GM has more amenities than the CV. Not to mention the PI has even less than that because it’s a work horse.
@@CarolinaCrown98 no doubt. That’s true. Mine is a 2001 and I got it as a steal of a deal almost four years ago with 66k original miles. It belonged to a 91 year old woman who passed. Her son sold it to me for $500 after it had been sitting unmoved for 2+ years.
They are! I got what I could while supplies lasted lol. I mean brother naturally when people like something, and there is less of them now…. Prices are going to go up. It’s only going to get worse because they’re 13 plus now, so there’s not a lot of great condition ones left.
I’m commenting before watching but, I love ford panther cars I own 3 myself. I hope the prices increase by a lot soon I know that hurts me because I wanna it more but, the derby guys are destroying these cars left and right. These cars will outlast a lot of brand new cars
My dad got our 2009 Ford in 2015 for $4500 with 120,000 miles, 3800 hours and posi rear end, cruise control, in white with all tan cloth seats and tan interior. It sits a lot because it gets worse gas mileage than our other vehicles so it has its rust and cosmetic flaws but it runs like a top and is the most reliable car we own above a s10, accord, and mdx.
Well I imported (Jan/2024) 2011 p71, for 6K on govbids (120k miles, no rust, no mechanical issues, no patrol car). The prices are crazy, but it was my dream car... Saw the blue one that you mentioned, If I remember it was relisted twice.
I’m not sure about that. I usually stay on there a lot and the first time I seen it I didn’t let it go! I didn’t care what the ending bid was, I knew it was going to be mine no matter what.
I purchased a 2003 Grand Marquis LS with 47K about 4 years ago for $5500. It now has 120K with very little issues along the way. These Panther cars are rock solid and easy to work on. Was on some of the car sale sites and a similar milage 49K 03-11 GM will cost 12-15K.
Absolutely none of these are for sale. They are my personal collection. I would be willing to sell my daily driver (black). That would at minimum be $7,500 though. I would only sell it to replace it with another one.
I n the past 2 months I have purchased 2 CVPI from govdeals, a white '03 (probably detective vehicle) with 112,000 miles for $2,250 and an '11 (a college fleet vehicle, no patrol miles) with 170,000 mile for $3,380. The '03 has some mild paint issues (what white CVPI does not), needed the rear calipers replaced and 4 tires but otherwise is good as a basic daily driver. 1 rear window does not work (just have not messed with it yet), needed a new center console, replaced headlight housings. Did the full fluid/filter change and have around $3,500 out of pocket including registration. The '11 had some door and window issues with the only out of pocket cost is a new window motor, and aside from maintenance, nothing needed to drive across country. It has the full cloth interior with carpet and front bench seat with arm rests, power drivers, cruise, remote keyless, and even though 170,000 miles, only 633 idle hours. Will be under $4,000 for a very well sorted CVPI. Good deals can still be found, but are getting harder to find, as you said, even the newest model is 13 years old.
Yeah more or less what I’m trying to hit on is a lower mileage and completely clean example inside and out. I’m sure you can get the plain white and high mileage ones out there for lower. Those deals are just getting super tough to find! Even a 170K Vic for $4,000 is crazy high compared to a few years ago! I also feel as though 06+ will bring in more revenue. Most people love the idle hour feature.
@@CarolinaCrown98 , gotcha, and I do agree with that, the time for "pristine" examples at even any semblance of a reasonable price is no more. Most anything that is now coming out of service is well used. There are still some deals out there for daily drivers, but your examples, not much, except private market now, and you are going to pay for it.

@@CarolinaCrown98 what I mean is that quite a few years ago I thought about getting a police surplus CVPI but then balled because internet said "muh leaky oil". In 2014 I got into buying vintage firearms, which were no longer $200 for mint condition Mausers and Garands but still reasonable, then by 2015 they started accelerating and by the time Battlefield 1 came out prices became insane, so in the 20 years milsurps were dirt cheap and nobody cared I got to enjoy the very last seconds of it. even worse, these cars will always bust the plastic Intake Manifold. Ford used to make replacement models made of aluminum. they stopped in 2019 though and now the parts cost 500-700$ and used to be 200 brand new. these cars will eventually be useless if you cant find a replacement manifold.
Most of these cars are now very old and beat to death. Unfortunately they are rapidly disappearing and easy parts support is going away. I wouldn’t pay more than $5k for one in top condition.
@@aclark7647 Well I have got one from Florida that was high priced. You’re not going to get one with less than 60K and less than 500 idle hours for $5,000 now is what I should say. I think that’s more of an entire south thing because of the rust issue up north. If you want a good one, you’ll come south and pay!
I call it the “Florida tax” as those cars are more popular in Florida versus other regions of the country. They usually command a higher price there. I bought a 2011 147k miles, close to 5000 idle hours for around $3k out the door live auction. It’s the most I’ve ever paid for a CVPI! Living in the northeast the fact it’s rust free is a big plus. It’s a former Alachua County green and white. I like the shade of green and the door jams are already matching so a all green repaint would save some money. The UA-camr in Florida who’s name I will not mention with the racetrack contributes to the inflated prices there as well.
@@FrankTimms-cs5hl 3K is the highest you’ve paid? I can’t find any that I wouldn’t be embarrassed to drive for that. $5K is the cut off for decent now. That’s DECENT.
the reason is that new cars are just really bad, these old fords with a 4.6 will last a long time and if they do need a repair, parts are cheap and easy to find, and are very nice to drive
Considering the fact that a much newer and cleaner dodge charger goes for a few grand more, buying a crown vic at its current price makes no sense. People with little self-respect and deep pockets hopping on a bandwagon is what causes prices for vehicles shown on a few popular youtube videos to go out of control. Its what happened to the Crown Vic, Miata, 90's JDM cars in general, and a few other cars. The end result is marketplaces being flooded with molested examples of said vehicles and their delusional owners thinking they are worth double what they originally purchased them for. Most of those vehicles have alternatives to them that are much cheaper. Personally, I think its a bubble that will burst when people realize that they are ultimately purchasing a 20-25 year old ford for $10K or if a huge financial recession comes and people no longer have $10K to spend on them. TL:DR, You can find other V8 sedans that are better value. The crown vic's pricing is currently in a bubble and you probably should not purchase them at its current price.
I fully disagree but respect your comment. The Vic was the last full frame rear wheel drive body on frame sedan manufactured by an American brand automaker. It will stand firm. A dodge charger, speaking as a law enforcement officer myself, is one of the biggest piles of dog shit our agency has ever had. It’s constantly breaking down and needing repairs as are our Taurus and Explorer based ones. These newer made vehicles will never stand up to the durability and reliability of the original PI. I wouldn’t buy a charger myself for $5,000. I further value these cars in excess of your opinion based on personal experience owning and patrolling in one. They stand strong, run hard, take a beating, and still keep going for more. We merely phase out CVPIs due to age with out the regard to it having any type of mechanical issues. Ours certainly had no problems being retired.
Wtf was the point of commenting 😂 I mean I guess go drive a lifted truck or a Prius idc. Your opinion means as much to me as how many hairs are on my ass cheeks.
There getting hight because there is not that mini in good running condition with no transmission and engine problems out there but the people who have them will sale them for over 10,000 because they know people wont them but i still have my 06 and i had ppl ask me to sale it i had a offer of 10,500 but i cant i love my car
Dude you are really overhyping a taxi/beat up cop car. This is coming from a car dealer, crown vics are good cars sure but nothing crazy in terms of price. 5K is the minimum for a good car nowadays, cant remember the last time I sold a car under 5k.

I can no longer find good ones below 6k
A couple good condition ones care going for 11-18k and one just sold for $14k in my city at 110k miles. Problem is people are actually paying that much so that’s justifying the price hike

March 2024 - purchased a 2011 Grand Marquis for 4500 with 160K miles from Georgia with no rust in Michigan. Just gotta keep looking for good deals.
Look where exactly? Certainly not dealers right?
Brother I just scored a 2007 P71 Florida car for $3K, 175K miles runs great, no rust. Deals can still be had.
Yeah... that's some damn high mileage though. Still decent.

In today’s world, Crown Victorias are worth that price.

@@CarolinaCrown98 yeah once I get all his shit taken care of it’s going to be far more reliable

Right you’re not going to find top condition which makes them high valued at that level.
My first Crown Vic was in 2007 and 20 Crown Vics since then. Now I only have one that I'm selling for all of $1000 and yet, they still try to get the price lowered.
I’ll give you a dollar 😂
I saw the prices constantly going up and thought it was time. I fortunately found a 2009 CPVI with 78,000 miles that was in the San Antonio Auction for 8k in November 2023. I'd say its in 9/10 condition, it does have the clear coat peeling, but other than that, it has been an amazing car. The LAPD still have roughly 500 NEW CVPIs in storage that will eventually be put in service once the older ones phase out. They stock piled them knowing they were stop building them. I'd imagine in 5 years those cars will be in the 20k range in auction.
I would love to get one myself.
I wouldn’t be surprised if many police departments did the same stocking up on Chargers when production was ending.

Love Crown Vics!!! Great cars
Bought my 06 P71 in 2016 for $2700 out of FL, 92k miles, Dark Red, Appearance Pkg. I still have it, still runs good at over 200k miles. Only issue is clear coat peeling. I want another one, but I just can't justify $8000 for an older car.
lol hey dude…. $8,000 for a Crown Victoria of all things or $60,000 for a new vehicle. Ehhh it might be old, but she won’t let you down. 😁
@@CarolinaCrown98 You do have a valid point!! The Vic will probably outlast any new car.
It not totally impossible to buy one at a good price. Just keep your ears open. This year I purchased a 2004 Grand Marquis in great shape 94,000 miles one owner for $1,000..
Well…. Specifically CVPI. I don’t think the MGM is nearly as sought after.
wow 9250 for that 2011 street edition....i feel lucky then to have paid 5500 for my 05 with 103k miles...and yes I still have it.
As usual, whenever I get into what was once considered garbage, it skyrockets in value. As soon as I got into military surplus rifles, they took started going bananas and now I get to see all your fudd "I got mine when you could buy a whole crate of them for $99" posts
@@NYG5 I don’t know how to respond to this haha. Modern patrol cars are junk for sure. That’s from the assembly line obviously.
Now that I'm trying to get into Crown Vics l, that were dirt cheap for years, now all of a sudden they are spiking in price.
@@NYG5 Yeah! It’s pretty much over now. You can still get a fairly decent one for about $4,000-$5,000.
I have a 2003 marauder 79k miles perfect condition cream puff and it was 18k
As of right now I have a Marty tune and 4:10 gears but I just ordered the adtr supercharger kit all coated black and adtr full suspension and stainless works long tube headers and full exhaust all ordered from adtr for $15,723 as soon as moes speed shop get it in they will schedul from install and dyno tuning as well as the proper stall for the build they told me around 7500 for install and tuning all the upgrades but will he a sweet rife when it's done
Marauders are high maintenance sport cars.
Bought my police for $3500 police with no issues wanna say 4 or 5 years ago still have it had one issue but it was surprisely cheap to fix I basically wouldn’t call it an issue
It had 150000 miles and 3500hours and tbh that actually was a good deal for where I live most police cars are 100000 with 50000 hours and the crank is so burnt out they knock or have no power
I will say currently in Texas I’m seeing a mix of pricing I can find a $4500 Vic with ok miles and hours but I didn’t even realize how lucky I got
I want to see you get an '98 LSC
No 😂 I don’t have a problem with it, but I don’t need anymore vehicles.
@@CarolinaCrown98 everyone needs an LSC in their life, there's nothing like a Mark VIII 😉
Yes sir that's true facts 💯

Yeah. $2,500 isn’t going to get a good Vic anymore. You gotta pay 💰 I wouldn’t even sell my black daily for less than $7,500.
I got a 2011 P7B with 108k miles for $4200, no mechanical problems at all

even worse, these cars will always bust the plastic Intake Manifold.
Ford used to make replacement models made of aluminum. they stopped in 2019 though and now the parts cost 500-700$ and used to be 200 brand new.
these cars will eventually be useless if you cant find a replacement manifold.
There’s tons of aftermarket options…
Most of these cars are now very old and beat to death. Unfortunately they are rapidly disappearing and easy parts support is going away. I wouldn’t pay more than $5k for one in top condition.
@@user-tb7rn1il3q Stock your parts, and you won’t have to worry about it.
My 2005 Grand Marquis I wouldn't sell it not even for $10.000
ebay has tons of them for a few thousand. Lincoln Town Cars are even cheaper, and they're just Crown Vics with nicer interiors.
I have not seen that…. I look at Vics all the time on eBay, and I have never seen a cheap one.
South Carolina , is overpriced .
What do you mean
The auction is meant to be a deal , the South Carolina and Delaware auction is overpriced .
These will run for ever with little maintenance. Best car Ford ever made in my opinion.
2004 is the best year because is the last year with the CNG powered crown vic
I’ve seen some 2011 with CNG.

the reason is that new cars are just really bad, these old fords with a 4.6 will last a long time and if they do need a repair, parts are cheap and easy to find, and are very nice to drive
The panther cars will be on the road still when those chargers and a lot of other newer unibody cars are in the junkyards. It’s a fact.
Shut up 🤦🙄🙄🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
lol fb marketplace bro omg u funny!!!
I didn’t say you couldn’t buy a piece of shit brother haha
This is the least consequential video UA-cam recommended to me this year. Very few humans choose to drive Crown Vics. They just don't.
