The cuticle oil doesn't loosen the wraps at all? I put my first Lily and Fox nail wraps on yesterday using a base and top coat. I like them, but, some are not quite wide enough for my nails.
If you are careful and just go around and not really get on the nail, when I get ready to remove mine I actually put cuticle oil all over and right at the cuticle so when I go to remove with my tool it gets underneath the nail wrap and makes it easier to remove.
To be safe you can just use a good lotion for hands and nails and that works fine 🙂
If I use base and top coat I can use a little cuticle oil with no problem. If I just apply the nail wraps alone, I just use a lotion.
And if the nails wraps are not wide enough you can actually stretch them a little bit to fit.
Now I will say if you are using a top coat don't stretch too much since it will make the nail wrap a little thinner when you go to put the top coat on it kind of makes lines in the nail wrap.
Now if you are just applying the nail wraps alone you can stretch the nails wraps and apply no problem.

On saving extras .... do they dry out after exposed to air like Colorstreet....
I usually just put my extra leftovers in a zip lock bag and they stay great, I've used some from a couple years ago to create a new look and they still work and apply just as easy😊
I have short nails, is there a product, a nail wrap that extends the nail length?
These work on short nails. If I wanted to do a long set I just applied a plain set of fake nails or tips and then applied the Lily and fox nail wraps.

Hi there, they actually stick on the nail like a sticker, there is no need for a base or top coat but if you want them to last a lot longer then a base and top coat protects them and you will get much longer wear from them😊
Do you find the glitter ones, since they’re thicker, peel on the edges faster? Or same wear time?
Actually no I have not had that issue. I actually love the glitter ones! They sometime can take a little more filing since they are thicker but they last the longest! Are you filing in a downward motion?
And to get the longest wear I suggest using a base and top coat to really seal them on and I have never had any come off until I decide to remove them. Here are the links to the base and top coat I use. Please let me know if you have any other questions😊

@@1ITALIANBEAUTY1990 thanks so much for your reply! I’m filing down but seeing a bit of lifting near the cuticle maybe I just need to press harder in those areas?
Also, I find when I use solid colors and file the edge off in that downward motion, it kind of tears a bit if the sticker at the free edge and looks messy. Any tips?
@@bridgetjones6973 Be sure to make sure you pull the clear plastic off of the nail wraps before applying, sometimes it can be hard to see on the glitter ones and that can make it hard to stick to the nail and smooth out.
And start off after pushing back your cuticles apply the nail wrap just a little bit below the cuticles, as close as you can get without getting on it push down in the middle then smooth down on each side and then press down and smooth out the whole nail wrap.
If you are finding it to be really hard it might be a bad set, I have ordered hundreds of wraps from them but I did receive one defected set that was just a little dried out so they would not smooth out right.
But honestly the glitter are really my favorite they just are a little bit different when it comes to applying since they are thicker. I'll make a video later showing how I apply them.
And for the solid colors what I like to do is apply all nail wraps to one hand before filing off the extra, to give them time to stretch and stick to the nail. And watch closely on my video when I go to file them in a downward motion. Be sure to kind of go at angle and not to point the file too much on top of the nail as you file down because it can end up cutting it where it will tear and show the tip of the nail.
It takes a little practice but you will get used to it lol. It is easy once you know the tips and tricks and practice them.
And are you applying them without a base and top coat?

Yeah you can wear the Lily and fox nail wraps without base and top coat but everyone is different, I use my hands a lot everyday with work, playing guitar, house cleaning and hobbies and working out so I like to apply the base and top coat to protect them and have them last longer and it works great. The base and tops coats I linked are my favorites that I use all the time 😍

Hi and thanks for watching. If you actually take the time to read about Lily and fox nail wraps they are actual polish and are non toxic, 100 vegan and cruelty free! They have actually good ingredients in them.
No need for base or top coat.
Although sometimes I like to use my strengthing base and top coat.
But these nail wraps are perfectly fine to use. And as you can see in the video my nails are perfectly healthy! And I have been using Lily and fox nail wraps for along time now. And to be honest I know some people don't agree but I do not like going bare nails so I always have my nails done but Lily and fox nail wraps is all I use.
I used to go to the salon and my nails got so brittle and damaged, the salon is the worst thing you can do with all those acrylics and much more.
I've come along way on my nail journey to strong healthy nails and Lily and fox nail wraps have helped me get there. I have never been more happier in my life now with my nails.
I wear no fake nails at all.
My nails are natural at all time, I normally keep them short because I play guitar.
But my nails are not damaged. They are strong and grow fast now with no damage what so ever. So I still stand behind my opinion of Lily and fox nail wraps and still highly recommend them. Plus they are so affordable on top of everything else! Can't beat that deal!
I can go easily 3 weeks wearing the wraps with no base coat or top coat.
And easily 4 weeks or more with my strength base and top coat.
So again, HUGE Lily and fox fan! Definitely recommend trying!
P.S. I did this video 7 months ago which I was still recovering from all the nail damaged I suffered from the salons. But I was still happy with the progress I had in This video because my nails were much healthier from where I began. But I'm still using them. And nails are even better than ever!😊
Sorry, but you have no evidence to prove that. These nail strips are no different from Color Street. I have used both of them. I have used many nail wraps. So far, my favorite are Dashing Diva, but none of them are actually damaging your nails.
@Heatha’s Bada Bling Nailz - Color Street is awful! I used to sell them, then started using Lily and Fox and never turned back, I couldn't sell a product ( Color Street) that I wasnt using nor liked. Lily and Fox doesnt damage nails... makes mine stronger, Ive used them for 3 years now.
