Great tutorial. Some tips that help my nail stickers last 14-20 days: Be sure to wipe your nails THOROUGHLY with nail polish remover before putting on the sticker. I literally go over and over with cotton balls and remover. Also, handle the sticky part of the sticker as LITTLE as possible, as oils from your fingers prevent it from sticking as well/long. Finally, wait at least an hour after putting the nails on before getting your hands wet. None of these steps are required, but it's what I've found keeps these on for weeks!
I just purchased these yesterday from a booth at a food truck festival and I must say…. I am absolutely in LOVE!!! It’s pure genius and they last FOREVER!!!
Thank you for showing how you wrap it around the tip of your nail. I’m considering trying these because I’m on medication that makes my hands shake a lot so it has become harder to do my nails.
A friend keeps her extra opened nail strips in the freezer because she also gets 2 uses out of one strip. But love the idea of resealing the packaging. Great tutorial. She adds one layer of clear topcoat to make her manicure last even longer.
I wish I had seen this before I applied my first set last night. I wasted the other half of each strip I used because I didn't know what to do with the leftover. Cutting it is way easier than wrestling with the whole big piece. I too have short nails and cutting the strip in half will work perfectly for me. I will also need to remember to do my thumb last. Thank you also for being specific on how many strips it would take to do both your fingernails and toenails! These are super useful tips and thank you so much for sharing.
Excellent video. I LOVE ColorStreet! They're a game changer; right up there with the invention of sliced bread! Not only beautiful, but they save money AND time. You've done a great job of explaining what they are, as well as demonstrating how to apply them. As a new ColorStreet Stylist, I will be sending my customers to your video when I can't show them myself... Thanks!
Thank you so much for your thorough video!! Your tutorial is seriously one of the best I have seen with tips and tricks!! I love how you brought up leaving your thumb nail last since that nail is so useful during the application process. Taking the film off first before you cut the nails in half. Love the idea of cutting them in half so you have the other piece ready to go for future manicures. :) And last, but not least saving the clear bag it comes in to keep the shelf life going a bit longer. Overall great, great video that I will definitely share with my friends who need help with applying color street nails :) Have a blessed day.
My second time applying these nails. First time, I did it by the instructions on the carton. Not the best... This time, I used your video and they look awesome. Thank you so much for posting this!!
love this information on how you can split the nails and use them for two fingers; that is major helpful and will surely make use of doing this in the future, thank you for providing.
It was really helpful that you demonstrated application to the left and right hand. One of the things I have been worried about is applying them to my dominant hand using the non-dominate hand
I agree. For me, because I have really short nails, I can get at least 2 manicures, if not more, out of each set. That makes them even more economical.
I love how you do your nails with the color street strips. It looks very well and professional. Thanks for sharing the tips! I actually just got this particular set in the mail 2 days ago. Lol definitely saving this video for reference.
I don't sell Color Street but have fallen in love with them, because they solve my problems with time, beauty and $$$ all in a few minutes, plus they are the safest brand out there and trust me I have tried them all. Color Street are beautiful and well worth the purchase, plus I buy 5 sets for the price of 3 from my representative all the time, saving tons of $$$ for the best, most beautiful, longest lasting and easiest I can find.
Thanks so much! I love using these. I can't keep polish on for longer than a couple days and don't do gels or acrylics, too damaging. I have weak nails. These don't damage my nails at all.
Thank you so much for making this informative video. I just bought a set today from a Vendor Market in our area. The representative did an Amazing Job explaining and putting a sample on my nails. I just Love them. What a Super Fantastic Product. I am giving a few away for Christmas and keeping some for myself.. Thank you again for showing us the right way to do this..💗💗💗💗
I do the same thing, use my thumbs as my tools, I find it less invasive and can control better feeling how much pressure I'm using than with a stick. My first time, I did my nails thumb first....now I know better lol. I love Color Street! !
Thank you for the video, just bought some from my aunt, can’t wait to try them on! I like your method better. Filing always does seem to mess them up at times!
Just bought four different color sets. I think your method is easier than filing. Plus cutting the strips in half will double my supply so…even less money to spend!
I just got into Color Street. My niece applied them for me both times and I was wishing I could have saved what she threw away to use again. Thank you for this video even though I'm watching this almost 3 years later than you posted it.
I currently have this color right now. Tokyo lights. I've just got my 1st toe nail done so far but very easy to apply n I found using sewing scissors or those tiny grooming scissors work best for me tho all the rest of your tips are spot on. I just winged it my 1st time n didnt have any mess ups. Love this product cant wait to sit down n finish my nails now that I feel i have the confidence. 😊
Looks cool-my friend Gennifer was sweet enough to offer me some, so thanks for great informational video! I'm shocked by what a market there is for this stuff.
Very smart. My first attempt with applying these color strips, was an epic failure. Wasted more than half of the nails that could have been used again later. Thank you for this tutorial. Very helpful.
I cut my strips in half, as you did; however, I had a heck of a time unpeeling them when I cut them. Your video made it look like it peeled off effortlessly.
I'm putting on a set of Tokyo Lights too and I only used 5 strips...the rest I put in a Ziploc bag but that was before I watched to the end and I am glad I did. I put the unused back into the original bag-it was almost impossible so I did something I want to share. To help put the strip back into the bag-I slid a chopstick into the bag and they slid right in w/o getting bent. Then I put a strip of scotch tape after I squeezed the air out. Then I tucked them into a sandwich baggie and sucked the air out. I hope they stay fresher because my last set I wore for 3+ weeks.
Thanks I just got some for free and had no clue how to apply. 3-4 yrs ago I had Jamberry nails with blow dryer etc. I spent a lot on them and equipment. But Jamberry nails do not last and always came off. These seem so easy !
Sounds like you have the same washing machine we do! 3:45 Love that machine! And this is awesome! I've not found a video for "clipped" short nails, just manicured short nails. Thanks!
@@arianaotto3565 are you still using color street? I work with my hands so my nails chip all the time. How does this hold up when it comes to chipping?
I just received them and applied them while watching your video. Great tips !! I do it the same exact way as you. My only question - should i apply a top clear coat ?
I’ve done it once on my natural nails, and it took me ages and a crap ton of work to get it right because I’m a perfectionist.. I’m trying again on acrylic nails I did myself so I hope it goes better
I pull the clear piece off first, then pull the whole thing from the backing almost to the end then lightly press it back down and then cut it. It does better for me.
Yes! Now I won't have to curse my way through applying my second pair LOL. I love gel manicures but they tear your nails up, are expensive, and at home kits are hard and time consuming. Color Street is brilliant!
Great tutorial! I just bought some packs. I finally had my SNS nails removed and my nails are in very poor shape! So soft and bendable. Very short , all scraggly.
