I’ve been using then since January. I like them, so far each set I’ve done lasts me a more than 2 weeks. I cut the excess with nail clippers and save the end to do my toes. So i get manicures plus pedicures out of my strip sets. I do put a layer of regular top coat to help seal them so there’s no gaps that could potentially get my hair stuck.
They don't want to stay on, there thin and feel incredibly cheap! The sticky stuff has gone away and it just doesn't work! I'm really glad I got them pretty cheap ❗🚩I have used a different brand in the past from Ulta beauty, that we're totally amazing, and they actually worked! But they don't carry them anymore and I don't remember the name sadly!
I am late to this party 😆 We are heading into the end of 2024 and I never even heard of these strips before but I recently stopped getting my nails gelled and so they’re super thin and short. I think this will add life and strength to my nails as they grow back without the use of gel. This is very exciting! Thank you so much!🎉 BTW… You are simply gorgeous, Lady!👍
One tip from my experience...save the mirrored strip from the packaging. Once you use the stickers you need, store your remaining strips with the shiny foil between them. That keeps the nail stickers from sticking to each other. Mine got so stuck I had to toss some of them.
FILING DOWN MADE THIS WORK SO WELL!!! thank you for sharing, I was getting so frustrated with the little bits on the end. But filing down made them perfect and I was able to correct the corners
I just started using nail strips about a month ago, ordered a set from Amazon that has 72 strips with a variety of designs. First, I love the option of being able to mix and match. Secondly, if you have any mishaps or misapplications you have many more left available. I have found that applying a base coat first helps them to adhere better and last longer, in addition to using a top coat. Bottom line, as someone who has always experienced chronic chipping from using regular polish, I love these strips. They're relatively quick and easy to use, and you can get a lot of wear and use out of them. Also I found some pretty Dashing Diva strips for $5 which I haven't tried yet because I'm still having fun trying the others, but I'm excited to check them out.
I love this! OMG! I bought some without thinking because the checkered pattern looked cool and difficult to do with polish, but I had no idea what do with them when they arrived. Also, being over 50 my eyes aren't what they used to be. Me attempting to read fine print instructions nowadays is like watching a comedy of errors, so *THANK YOU* for this tutorial! ♡
I just tried these tonight, and I can’t believe how easy it was to do and how great my nails look! You and I did my nails “together,” because I pulled up your video and watched your giving of instructions through the entire process! Thanks for “dropping by!”
I just tried these recently...awesome!!! I had to take them off for a manicure. I’m allergic to acrylics, gels, nexgen...tried them all. Can’t even wear nail polish. These are amazing and lasted for over 2 weeks.
That’s wonderful to hear they worked so well for you!! Knowing that you are allergic to all the other nail products probably made you super excited to find something that works!😘
I received these as a gift and was not sure exactly on how to use them, I will try them this weekend , your video has been very helpful, thank you so much 💕
I am so pleased with these Diva nail strips. After watching your video I applied them (took a bit longer than 5 minutes but I am confident the next time will be faster) and have worn them consistently since. I go lane swimming twice a week and it hasn’t affected them at all - no lifting whatsoever. It’s been almost 2 weeks now and I had just a bit of chipping on one nail at the tip that I filed down. I’m so pleased as I have very weak nails and it seems I have tried every option out there from remedies to acrylic to gel to press ons and all were damaging to the nail and nail bed plus they were expensive. I have found my permanent solution if they stay available.
LOVE these so much! A friend introduced me to them back in March and I have not stopped using them. I will say the ones I order online are easier to apply than the ones I got in the store. I don't know if the strips sitting on the shelves makes a difference or what, but that has been my experience. I highly recommend ordering them online. Also Aqua's Beauty Nail Strips and Nails Mailed are great options. They wear down faster than Dashing Diva, but are also a few dollars cheaper.
I’m so happy to hear you are a big fan of these too!! I actually ordered a few designs from their website so now I’ll be able to compare to the ones in the store. Sounds like you may be on to something there! I’ve not tried those other brands but will have to check them out. Thanks for the tips!😊
I just bought these strips the other day at ULTA. I also tried the ons that you use the led light with. The Dashing Diva that you use the light with stay on really good in fact so good that they were a little hard to remove. They in my option aren't as easy to put on. Took me like 45 min to get them done. But they came out pretty darn good for my first try. These strips look much easier. Should have started with the easy ones first lol😉 Love all your tutorials on make up & hair. You are one very beautiful lady.😘❤
These kinds of nail stickers are so perfect. I have trouble with tips I think I’m filing too vigorously. If they’re still sticking few days/week in you can fill in the base of your mail with a couple dabs of glitter nail polish to hide the line of demarcation. Thx for sharing!
Thank you for your care in explaining & filming! Gonna try these really soon. Couldnt stop staring at your beauty! Your hair, skin, smile, teeth, lashes, eye makeup, coloring...just lovely! Even your brows are soooo on point. I cant even guess your age! Your profession agrees with you!
Great detailed video. You also can use a lil oil of your choice and a floss pick starting from the base of the nail. They also have the dashing diva red therapy as a base seal treated before applying the strips.
This is a nice alternative to going to the salon. I used to get silk nails before covid and I haven't gone back since. My nails were damaged and have finally grown back to a more healthy nails. I'm getting really good at manicure but unfortunately they don't last very long! Thanks for the video! ❤
Thank you for the instructions. And the comments have great suggestions too - so thanks to your viewers. I’m going to give these a try and just in time for the holiday season.
I have been using DD Gloss for two years, unfortunately, nail polish chips in less than 48 hrs after applying. I suggest pushing your cuticles back and sanding the nail slightly to remove any ridges you may have. Then use the alcohol pad to remove any powder or oil from the nail bed. Apply the strip just under the cuticle -- you'll get three weeks out of a mani. You can cut the excess strip off the nail with a small scissor or file it off in one direction with a nail file. Apply a coat of clear polish and you're good to go.
I use them in between salon visits and I really love them. I use Essie all-in-one top & base coat with it and They've stayed on for a month and some change. Before I started using the Essie as a top coat, I didn't use anything besides the DD Red therapy base seal & They wouldn't even stay on for a week.
Thank you for this video I just got mine today at Sally’s beauty. I was so excited about getting them but I wanted to make sure I was applying them on right and your video made it so easy for me to follow thanks again 😁🙋🏾♀️
This video is going to assist me with learning how to apply them. Very helpful! I too just purchased one package at Ulta, and Ulta sells the pre pads too.
I ended up finding these at Five below, and everytime I return I buy every different set they have for that time lol. For sure you can mix and match and be more creative with these. I like all the glitter ones, so gorgeous.
i'm new to this type of polish so ty for the tips 💗 So far i'm not super stoked for my hands--i think i prefer my regular gel polish. But i adore these for pedis!!!!🥰 I hate the multiple layer of gels you have to do, and curing time..ugh--So these strips are amazing!!! Just slap them on, trim and done. So much easier and faster!!! Plus i can change them up whenever i want, and bonus there are strips tiny enough for my tiny little baby toe nail. I'll have to practice to get my hands right but i already am loving how cute they make my toes look. TY so much for great tips!💐
I noticed that the more I wore them, the easier it was for them to keep sticking. Also, sometimes I've just pressed them right back down if they were coming up... and they stayed. I agree, super cute and easy!
I have a few packs of these waiting to be applied, but wanted to make sure I was doing it right so of course I came to UA-cam! Very helpful. Looking forward to trying these.
Oh yay! I’m so happy my video came to your rescue! I’m the same way.....UA-cam is usually my first source I go to when I need to learn how to do something😘 Hope you enjoy your new nails!
I bought these and we didn’t know if it was a good brand but now listening to you they sound good and tonight I’m gonna try them. Thank you this video helped
Ulta and Sally’s sell them too! Also I find that using a Uv gel top coat and curing in a lamp for one minute. They last even better! I’m a dog groomer so I need that extra strength.
I agree. I use a gel topcoat too. I'm a nurse and the hand sanitizer breaks down the strips. Using the gel topcoat to seal them makes them last a least 2 weeks for me.
Your video woke me up to these nail strips. They look great on your hands!!! I bought some and tried them and loved them. Your video was very enlightening helpful and informative. I usually use the impress nails but I like these as well if not better because they last soooo long and I can do a lot with them on. I put several topcoats and they are perfection. The impress nails are great but they can pop off. These nail strips are a great addition to my diy salon nail collection.
Yay!! So happy to hear that you have fallen in love with these nail strips too! They are so fun and I love that there are constantly new designs released🥰
I would have liked to have seen this with just a nice simple soft pink the same on all the nails. I think it would’ve looked quite classy. Having said all that that….. it is just my taste. I’m very happy that the lady loves the look for herself and she’s found a product that works for her. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Thank you for this delightful tutorial with your tips and observations! I just bought my first set, and after watching your video, I feel much more confident about what to do. I love the slight randomness of your design. Inspires me to try something new. The video was as soothing and pleasant to watch as it was informative. (Weird, but true. I felt serene watching and listening to your video.) I’m new to your channel, so maybe you already do this, but if not, maybe consider recording ASMR as part of your channel. I think folks would enjoy it! Ciao and grazie!
I absolutely love these!..on my 4th set now, and I finally have the knack of using them..also... I do use a base and top coat...also..I do my thumbs last, so I can use them to help get the other strip on other nails
I’ve been doing gel nails for a long time but it was fun watching you apply the clever nail strips a quick and easy way to be creative. Enjoyed another Sunday solo. Looking forward to your next selection. 💖
I just bought the same set you use on this video today at TJ MAX for $4.99 Thank for this tutorial on these nail strips. This will be my first time trying these out. Hopefully they look as cute as yours did 🤞🏻😉 Also, Love your hair too! Looks So So cute 🥰
anytime I have one of the strips lift up on the tips, I pull it back a bit and put clear nail polish on my nail and hold the strip back down. I have had a set of these on my nails for a month. the shear-ness of some of the colors blends right in with the nail growth at the base of my nails.
It's always best to start from the pinky. This way if you need your thumb, you can have it available. Also, once you put the strips on, use the rubber cuticle pusher to really press the edges down on all sides. Finally, for longevity, you can use a gel polish on top to seal the free edge and to give extra shine to the strip. Make sure the gel doesn't need to be cured under the UV light unless you are using semi cured strips.
Ok, so no joke, I had just finished looking on this website & was pretty sure I wanted to order, but not 100% ~ UNTIL.... I saw your video on my subscription notification!!!!!😃 As soon as I finish this I'm ordering! I'm anxious to try them with working in the hair salon & having my hands in water a lot. Also with the hair coloring & perm solution. I normally can't keep polish on more than a couple of days unless I do a professional shellac. That's too damaging & expensive 😛 Anyway, I'll let you know how it works for me! Today's Sunday song was such a blessing! Dylan played along on his knees since I had you cast on the TV😂 Thanks Sharalee!!! God bless!!! Xx❤️
Oh my goodness, how crazy is that!! Well, I truly hope these work well for you too! I didn’t realize you work in a salon. You’ll have to keep me posted, let me know how they work for you😘 How cute that Dylan played a duet with me on Sunday! Love it😍 God bless you too, sweet lady!
Hi Dear Sharalee...these look great! You make it look so easy.... for me I have been getting my nails done for over 20yrs...lol... I made a decision with being a single parent & homeschooling my children that I would do something for myself once a fortnight I would go & get my nails done as my treat to myself!! So I have continued with this & yes my nails grow fast & Im a nail biter still!!! Lol. Lol. Over the years I couldn’t tell you How many compliments I have received....I do have mine quite long also...with the Essential Tremors I wldnt be able to use these...But they are a Fabulous looking & using Product by the look of it....blessings & love Marc. 🇦🇺🇦🇺😘❤️❤️❤️😘
Good for you!! I can only imagine as a single parent how much you needed that "me" time to decompress and have a treat to look forward to. I would totally do that too if I didn't play the piano😘 Love & blessings, sweet friend!💗
SOLD! I want to do my nails really nice for the holidays and I know my regular polish will not last the full week I am away, so I am going to try these! I have been looking at press on's too, but your review here has made my decision.. Thank you!
I bought these a few weeks ago and decided to put these on today, so this video is great timing. Any tips for avoiding creasing and bubbles at the tip when you’re ready to fold them over?
Oh I'm so glad this came at just the right time! Be sure to smooth up from the cuticle to the end of the nail. Then as you fold the end over your nail, pull it tight and press it along the edge of the nail before filing😊
I just put my first set on and it wasn't much fun. I'm having doubts mine will last as long as others say theirs are lasting. One of mine was trying to pull up at the tip as I was trying to get the next one off the plastic backer. Next time I'll do as someone else suggested and leave my thumbs for last so I can use my thumb to unstick the nail stickers off the backing to apply. My main issue was how difficult they were to trim down. Nail clippers wouldn't cut them because these stickers are soft, and even my cuticle cutters wouldn't cut them. I finally used a pair of scissors, to get them semi close then filed the rest which also wasn't easy. I'm not totally sold on these yet.
Mine stick for 3 or 4 weeks. I just have to take them off for new growth. While my nails are short, I just cut them in half so I can use one for two nails. I think these Dashing Diva nail strips are easier to put on than the Color street ones. I am not sure how long the Colorstreet ones last as I just put some on that I got as a gift for Christmas. I rough up my nail just a tad with a nail file before putting the strips on. It helps make sure the oils are removed from my nails. I have worn glue on nails for many years. I was starting to have issues with the green on my nails so these are great to give them a break from the glue ons. I can never keep regular polish on for more than a couple of days no matter what kind of prep or base coat or top coat I use. Plus my nails always want to peel and break off. They are thin, so the strips are helping them not to peel,
They’re also at Sally Beauty! We carry a bunch of different styles and right now we have Halloween special edition gel strips and they’re super cuuute!
It looks GREAT! Thanks for the helpful tutorial. I have just become a fan of these this weekend. I had a STEEP learning curve, LOL, so I wasted a LOT of strips tryin to figure out the sizing AND getting the application down. My finished manicure looks great though, so now I just need to see how long they last.
I'm watching theses videos because I'm new to these nails strips but I already like them more than painting my own because you can add different designs and mix match. I'm glad I tried these for some reason I thought they were hard to apply but they're not 🥰
Very helpful review, thanks! Just bought two pair, including the one you tried on this video, at five below. Can't wait to try! 🤗 Have a great week everyone! 🌺
Such a nice video! I work at Ulta and people keep buying these so I needed to know if they're really good! I'm going to try some, I have thick curly hair so I don't do my nails a lot since doing my hair chips the polish, or bends (sometimes breaks) my acrylics! I'll come back and let you other curly girls if these last with our hair!
I have an issue with the edge not being as smooth as I would like it but maybe that’s because the file in my pack only had the white side? Some people had said they tried “melting” the edges with alcohol wipes and I tried it and I think it helped some but it’s still a bit rough. I think they may smooth out on their own (like acrylics) with time but if not I’m going to have to find a finer grit file…
I found some of these today with Christmas patterns at my local Walmart. I took a chance and picked up a couple of packages. After watching your video I am really excited to use them!! 😁
Great tips! Thank you for sharing😊
Thank you for the tip ! I always only use on my toes because I don’t like them snagging my hair ! Top coat may help that
They don't want to stay on, there thin and feel incredibly cheap! The sticky stuff has gone away and it just doesn't work! I'm really glad I got them pretty cheap ❗🚩I have used a different brand in the past from Ulta beauty, that we're totally amazing, and they actually worked! How do you get tips at the edge of the nail from peeling upwards?
@@stardustgirl2904 I had some that were called gel nails and high gloss, in this brand and they stayed on for 4 weeks!
Her makeup and hair is so pretty
A tip that works well for me is to do the thumbs last, in case you need your thumbs to help peel off a strip.
That's a great tip!!🤗
Great tip!!
I agree. excellent tip.
Thank you
😂, that was my first thing I did.
I am late to this party 😆 We are heading into the end of 2024 and I never even heard of these strips before but I recently stopped getting my nails gelled and so they’re super thin and short. One tip from my experience...save the mirrored strip from the packaging. Once you use the stickers you need, store your remaining strips with the shiny foil between them. That keeps the nail stickers from sticking to each other. Mine got so stuck I had to toss some of them.
What a great tip!! You are right, they do get kind of stuck together in the package....note to self, "keep that mirrored sheet!"😘
Thanks! I was wondering what the foil was for!
Gracias jjaja decia que estaban ahinpor algo pero no sabia para que
FILING DOWN MADE THIS WORK SO WELL!!! thank you for sharing, I was getting so frustrated with the little bits on the end. But filing down made them perfect and I was able to correct the corners
These nails are so pretty. I'm so glad you showed how they look after 14 days.
I’ve really enjoyed them! Glad you found this review helpful💕

So far and I seen quite a lot, your tutorial is the best explained and the best application I have seen. I loke your method. Thank u a lot.💅🏽🤗🦋
Wonderful!! So glad you found it helpful!🥰
This video was soooo helpful! I can't wait to apply my gel strips! Thank you!
Yay!! You are welcome😇
I absolutely love these!..on my 4th set now, and I finally have the knack of using them..also... I do use a base and top coat...also..I do my thumbs last, so I can use them to help get the other strip on other nails
Do u use gel base and top coat or regular?
I’ve been doing gel nails for a long time but it was fun watching you apply the clever nail strips a quick and easy way to be creative. Enjoyed another Sunday solo. Looking forward to your next selection. 💖
Gel nails are wonderful! So happy you continue to enjoy my Sunday's Songs♥️🥰
I just bought the same set you use on this video today at TJ MAX for $4.99 Thank for this tutorial on these nail strips. This will be my first time trying these out. Hopefully they look as cute as yours did 🤞🏻😉 Also, Love your hair too! Looks So So cute 🥰
Such a great deal!! Hope they work well for you too! And thanks for your sweet compliments♥️🥰
This video was so helpful. I love how your nails turned out!
I'm so glad!💗
anytime I have one of the strips lift up on the tips, I pull it back a bit and put clear nail polish on my nail and hold the strip back down. I have had a set of these on my nails for a month. the shear-ness of some of the colors blends right in with the nail growth at the base of my nails.
Oh that's a great tip! Thanks for sharing!!😊
Gorgeous!!! Thank you for the tutorial. I was lost
Love the nails but I NEED your lip color! It’s gorgeous! 🥰
Very informative! Just started using nail strips and I ordered two sets of these before i saw your video but am glad I did!
Wonderful!! Hope these tips will help your application go smoothly😘
her make up is just gorgeous
Thanks for this great instruction. I bought a set and can’t wait to use them.
I just ordered 2 sets to try. Great price. Awesome selection!!!!!!!
Wahoo!! I hope you love your new manicures!😘
Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos. I wish I came across this earlier…. I bought a set of power dip nail thingy….
They are so pretty and really easy, I love it.
Yay!💕🤗
Love your hair and makeup
Thanks for the tips just applied my nails for the first time. Very easy no light at all just peel and stick :)
Thank you!! You explained it better than their website and instructions do!
You're welcome! So happy this was helpful😊
I just bought these nail sets at Sally Beauty and just saw your video, thank you for the tips, can’t wait to try these!
Yay!! Hope you love them too!😘
Ok, so no joke, I had just finished looking on this website & was pretty sure I wanted to order, but not 100% ~ UNTIL....
Just bought these exact "Rose Sparkle" at CVS today!
Yay!! Hope you enjoy them😘
SOLD! I want to do my nails really nice for the holidays and I know my regular polish will not last the full week I am away, so I am going to try these! I have been looking at press on's too, but your review here has made my decision.. Thank you!
Oh, one question.. Can you still put on hand lotion with these on? I am concerned it will disturb the seal of the polish..
I been using this for a while now but I love it, I think this is the best nails I have seen, thank you for your demostración 👋🌹
I want your haircolor!! You are adorable. I am trying these nails, they look amazing too!
Aww, thank you🥰 Hope you love the nail strips!
I appreciate you telling us the order of your video at the beginning
I just ordered two sets from the website. I can’t wait to try them! Thank you for showing how to apply them! Have a great weekend!
Wahoo!! Have fun!💅🏻😘
Very Happy I found your channel and you are an absolutely beautiful lady
Same, was sureeee I was going to love them but I can't get them to stay even 1 hr without peeling😢😢😢😢
thank you for this review just picked up some at Walmart. Love them :)
Thank you for the tip about the other sheet 🎉
useful video - thanks! i just tried a set of these - any tips on avoiding wrinkles at the top of the nail?
Take your time, pressing the strip up from the bottom and then slightly stretch and press it over the tip of the nail. Usually that helps😘
I just bought some at Walmart! Thank you for the content 🤎
That is so great to know that!! I will have to visit our local Sally's and see some of the new designs. Thanks for sharing!😘
These sound great! Love your eye look today!
Thanks so much! Tried out some new Sydney Grace shadows....LOVE them!😘
It looks GREAT! Thanks for the helpful tutorial. I have just become a fan of these this weekend. I had a STEEP learning curve, LOL, so I wasted a LOT of strips tryin to figure out the sizing AND getting the application down. My finished manicure looks great though, so now I just need to see how long they last.
@Samantha Morris I couldn’t get them to stop lifting up at the tips of my fingernails. I ended taking them off after a couple of days.
Oh oh oh. I need these. Oh I need these.
Yes, you do!!😂😘
How beautiful, Sharalee. Wonderful demo and review. Well done! - xx, Carla
Thanks so much, sweet lady!!😘♥️
Great video and so helpful! Your eye makeup is fabulous!!
I'm watching theses videos because I'm new to these nails strips but I already like them more than painting my own because you can add different designs and mix match. I'm glad I tried these for some reason I thought they were hard to apply but they're not 🥰
Yay!! So happy you are loving these too!
Can’t wait to try these sometime! I’m amazed at how long they lasted and how great they looked!! Great tips!
I think you’d love them!! Thank you for introducing me to them!😘💕
Very helpful review, thanks! Just bought two pair, including the one you tried on this video, at five below. Can't wait to try! 🤗
Have a great week everyone! 🌺
Wahoo!! Hope you enjoy trying these out!💗
What eyeshadow and lipstick are you wearing? So pretty!
Thank you for the video!!!!❤
Thank you . I will definitely try these. Yours looked nice.
Thank you! They are super fun😘
Love your hair...wish I was as pretty as you!
Super useful video! Just started to use these. Thank you!
You're welcome!😇
Such a nice video! I work at Ulta and people keep buying these so I needed to know if they're really good! I'm going to try some, I have thick curly hair so I don't do my nails a lot since doing my hair chips the polish, or bends (sometimes breaks) my acrylics! I'll come back and let you other curly girls if these last with our hair!
Oh I'm so glad you found this helpful and are convinced to give these a try! I'd definitely love to hear how these work for you😘
Thank you! I think you convinced me to finally try this brand ☺️
Yay!! Hope you like it!😊
I just tried them today and I'm glad I did because they look great and a lot cheaper than a salon!
That is awesome! I need to get some Christmas designs.....Walmart here I come!😘
First time doing these, thanks so much for your instructions 🤗
You are so welcome! Hoped your application went well!😘
