This is great! I love the book The Circle Maker. I am 43 and waiting for my husband. The wait can be tough. Other people say some religious sounding things that can sap our hope... like when we do not want a husband he will come. Ugh!!!

There are times your ask God to let His will be done. He knows you better than anyone else. During that period be obedient and ask the Holy Spirit to direct you in your journey. Miracles are for real and Godly..
There are times when i don't quite know how to formulate my pray to ask God for a need or want. Instead i would ask the Holy Ghost to take the lead cause God knows us better than we know ourselves. Seek divine intervention when you are in double and wait for an answer..

Another reason we should pray specifically in is that we will easily RECOGNIZE the characteristics in the partner when s/he manifests themselves into our lives! Girl I love this. I was always thinking that God don't care about the small things that bother us or our romantic fantasies but I learn late when I neglected to pray for specifics regarding the man I want. Now I feel he has chosen a man that does not attract me at all. He has nothing about him that I like and I worry that he is God choice so now I'm praying constantly about the man I want hoping I'm not too late lol

Onelia, thanks for commenting! God cares about the intimate details in our lives, including the secret things that we're too afraid to vocalize. DO NOT settle. Ephesians 3:20 says that God can do MORE than we could ask, think, or imagine -- that includes the things that we didn't pray about. He knows us better than we know ourselves, and He only wants good things for us. That includes a spouse that we are attracted to. Don't settle. Hold onto faith that your blessing is coming in due time. Pray -- then sit down and write out those things that mean the most to you ... the things that you want in a husband that align with your purpose. Work from there. Hey, Im in a online relationship & im really trying too fast/ seek god again too know before he apply's for visa that he is truly the one for me, As he is a unbeliever, i asked about his religion & found this about his religion that all those who believe in that will go too hell & i was so sad & i showed him a picture of what it said & he said "OK I WON'T BELIEVE IN IT ANYMORE" then he said but it's my belief so it seems like he can't make up his mind to change too a christian because then after a while we talked he said "I WANT TO LISTEN TO YOU & DO WHAT YOU SAY EVERYTIME, WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER" so i really don't know what to do but try too fast/ look more into the word of god again too change both of us for the better...😇💞

Hi, friend! Thanks for watching and taking time to leave a comment 💕 I can’t know what God told you, but I’d go back and examine what you heard in that moment. God does speak and He definitely leads us, but I think it’s a little dangerous to assume that someone is your husband based on him appearing to be Godly via Instagram. He may be- not discounting that, but we cannot judge character from a highlight reel. All of us, pastors included, don’t show EVERYTHING on social. So just be careful. “God said he is my husband” is dangerous for many different reasons. I think your question was: is it okay to pray for him to be your husband.
Sure - you can pray for anything… do you trust that God is sovereign and will answer according to His will for your life? I wouldn’t hold tightly to an outcome, but sure - pray whatever is on your heart. Something that I’ve learned to do instead, is to pray for them, as a person (their walk with Christ, protection, provision, etc …), and trust that God will take care of the rest. Hope that helps 💕

Hey Zoe! Thank you for watching. I know how that feels, because SAME! The truth is that there's no magic prayer to pray -- God is going to do it for you when He's ready to do it for you. My biggest encouragement is to stay close to God -- bring the sadness and loneliness to him -- create and cultivate community -- and pray sincerely for the man God has for you... that he's growing in faith and character and that when God brings you guys together it will be blessed and fruitful. It's very nice how you are teaching people to pray with what they really want so there's no communication error. I disagree with you'll be in the head of the household by you being in the preacher, I think women do not belong in that part of religion I believe in men being preachers, pastors bishops, also it seems that everything is about what you want to do not about your spouse. It feels like you just want someone to follow you and not leave you which is why women are in such bad trouble today you're almost there nourishing the new type of women that say they don't need a man so that's how we got there. I’m so sorry to hear that you feel broken. I remember feeling the exact same way and giving up all hope that God would ever do that for me. It’s not false hope I’m presenting … it’s faith and choosing to not let desires consume you. For me, I’m still not married … not even dating, but I’ve chosen to trust God in this area and focus on all of the good things He has given me. Like you, I’m focusing on other goals, knowing that even if God doesn’t bring someone to me, I still choose to trust Him and know that He knows best.
