Singleness though not for everyone is not always a bad thing or a curse 1 Corinthians 7 says Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: it is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion…Also it was God’s will for Jeremiah to remain single, however the Bible also states it’s not good for man to be alone. I’ve been in a similar situation with a man I met over 20 years ago. I ended up breaking my ankle in 3 places, in the most severe fracture you can have…a Trimalleolar fracture….3 weeks before our scheduled wedding.
