I woke up this morning and something came to me saying.... “fast for your spouse”. I wrote down why I was fasting and that I wanted to be cleansed, closer to God and meet my husband. And I get a notification for THIS. It was posted 5 days ago.... so I know this was meant for me to see. I’m moving in the right direction. My spouse is near! I believe it and receive it.

I feel like God was telling me recently that He desired for me to take a more aggressive position about getting married. I dont mean by running out and finding someone to date or be in a relationship with, but through prayer. I feel like I need some people to rally around me and pray with me about this too. Praying that God surrounds me with the right people.

Wow wow wow. I think God told me to fast from Facebook. I wasn’t sure but this video does confirms because I would watch videos on FB based on relationships that are not godly. The time I spend on FB is time I should spend with Him. All these points are talking to me. All these points are what I’m experiencing now. You are sooooooooo speaking to me Lord through this. Maybe this is the time God needs me to fast. God is always on time.

I have tried fasting multiple times but for some reason was never able to go through with it. I realized today that I was fasting for the wrong reasons, this video was needed. Thank you!

I have the same story! I started to believe it was more about health reasons and thats a lie.
I want to fast in order to gain clarity from the Lord, repent, and better follow the Lord!
When you begin to fast you must also be drawing strength and clarity from the Word because it makes you a lot more spiritually sensitive. Give yourself time to understand what you receive from God during that period.
If your life is settled in this area God may lead you to pray and fast for someone else. Be obedient and reap the eternal rewards. 🙏🏾✝️

I also remember the book of Esther as the story of deliverance. Fasting and praying was also the last resort to save the people of Israel, God listened and used Esther's place as a queen to save God's people.

Here I am at 03:30am after prayer. God showed me this man a couple of months ago in one of my hardest season so far. This dream certainty could be not from my own mind. His face was so unique! Then the day before yesterday I saw the same man on my Instagram. I must have faith, otherwise it will be impossible to please God and even believe in this promise, so I decided to wake up(actually the Holy Spirit has been waking me up lately and I feel like praying) this is a confirmation! Well, I watched this video twice and it seems that mostly all the reasons apply to me. I've been praying for a long time(daily) that I'd meet the lady GOD has planned for me, and I guess I will in his time. The waiting is hard though, I'm not getting any younger. There are so many things I'd like to enjoy with a girlfriend/wife, so many places I'd like to take her, learn from or teach her.

I stumbled across this video when read watching what does fasting mean. This video gave me the answer! I’m definitely putting my trust in god!
I starting off commenting and realized that I was writing my entire life story. If anyone would like that testimony, just reply to this comment and it will provide it to you. However, I just want to state that I truly enjoy your channel. It often confirms what I already know/ what I have been doing or causes me to reflect on my behavior/ decisions. Specifically in regards to this video, I have been praying a lot and now I have fully opened to my heart to God so that He can know my desires. I pray to God for a union joined by Him and healthy conception. A couple of months ago, I watched a UA-cam video stating that we should pray and fast for marriage. I had yet to do so until last week. God called me to fast. I lost all hunger. All I did last week was pray and fast. And it worked out so well because I am on spring break. And I ended up discovering that there is a church just a 3 minute walk away from me. And during that same week, the church was having a prayer revival. So I went to church nearly everyday, twice a day. The pastor kept saying that this week will change you, and it surely has. I've always been close to God, but since February of this year, it's like my relationship with Him has grown exponentially! I can't believe it! Before I would pray about a minute or so in the morning, a minute or so in the afternoon, and minute or so at night. Now I pray about 10 minutes in the morning; I pray about 30 minutes during the afternoon (that's because I work with pre school children and half of the day is outside in the playground); and I pray about 10- 15 minutes at night. What I want to say about this video is that I do pray for a particular person. At first I would pray for us to be together. But as my faith and prayer got stronger, my words changed. I promise I feel God talking through me when I pray. It's a subconscious feeling. Like they are my words but I never thought them. They were just placed inside of me. Either way, God changed my prayer and now I pray for his healing, deliverance, and for God to touch his heart. This person is not atheist. He believes in God, but his relationship with Jehovah is so distant. So I pray that he opens his heart so that God can guide him back to the truth. I still pray for us to be together. However when I do, I also pray to God that He knows what is best for me and that He knows all. So regardless who I marry, I will be grateful.

Mark 9:29 some things takes fasting to get the victory..remember Hannah did not eat she was fasting and praying so hard Eli thought she was drunk..sometimes to pull down the spiritual strongholds regarding relationships and marriage, fast fast fast and submit yourself in prayer praise and communion with God trust him!

I’m currently doing a sugar fast right now & trying to cut out Facebook (hopefully all SM), alcohol and fast food too. The only thing that I feel is compelling me to do this fast is that I need to get closer to God. I keep getting angry with God when things don’t turn out how I thought they would. It’s really hurt our relationship. I’m really hoping this helps me get where I need to be.

You can fast anything (not just food). Such as: fasting certain addictions or habits
The sacrifice of your choice is a reflection of your heart and intention.

I couldn’t finish my fast this Easter because I had a month and a half migraine episode that got triggered by lack of some foods as I also did the Christmas full fast and continued even afterwards because I felt well physically and thought I could go vegan.
I felt like I hadn’t fulfilled my struggle like I had to because I stopped fasting after the first two weeks of the Easter fast. The migraine gave me the opportunity to pray and spend time with God while the pain was debilitating and I was spending half my days in bed in pain and prayer, thinking about how wonderful Christ is. This video turned my self blame around. Apparently I did what I was supposed to do.

i’ll pray and fast because i truly believe in the promises God gave! if He told that i’ll be with someone who’s not christian yet- i thought i should talk more to the one about God - now i see, it’s not me but the Holy Spirit of God who will transforms this! i’ll fast and pray for the one he chose and his family, for his spiritual life and to God so He doesn’t let me interfere on what He wants! instead i wanna serve Him, walk His way and glorify Him by all blessings he gave us, ask for help and for me to be closer to Him so i’ll be more aware on how deal with every single step for Him!

i feel like this is one of the best if not the best approach to meeting the husband that God has for me one day. i REALLY hope He has one for me because my desire for a husband is really strong, and i’m only 17 at the moment. i’m currently stuck between two of my guy friends: i like one of them, and he likes me back, and i used to like the other one but not anymore. they are both strong Christians and seem like they would make great godly husbands someday, but i don’t even know if God wants me with either of them. i’m so confused and i’ve been constantly asking God what He wants me to do but i haven’t gotten any answers 😓. i know i’m still young, but i really want to know His will for me now and not later. i’m asking for prayer for this situation 🙏🏻. Listening to this I decided to fast this Sunday and not just fasting food or some drink but actually taking time and finding place to pray for a godly spouse. You don't have to be looking fo hints, what God wants to tell you. Seek God and He will just tell you, you don't have to be guessing and confused. Fasting is such a great strategy to seek God, I think regular fasting is normal part of Christian life, just to be in tune with God.
...fasting is not just food; it can be from lots of things that are distractions from your time with God.
Food, friends, social media, bad habits. Sometimes you have to clean house physically and spiritually.

I'm not very good with fasting ngl. I usually get hungry and my focus is off God and I don't have energy. Longest fast I did was for like 6 hours or so while I was awake not including at night
Yes, fasting should be a personal choice about what you feel led to sacrifice for God joyfully :)

Biggest key in my view is to make a commitment before the fast and then stick with it. Decide what you will give up and for how long and then use that extra time to focus on God in prayer and Bible study. Smaller time frames are better than bigger ones in most cases so it is achievable and not too much. God loves a cheerful giver
