I too prayed for my husband and he literally walked into my life so unexpectedly. We got engaged after 2 weeks, 10 years later and with two beautiful children we’re still deeply in love and blessed! Prayers work people, I always tell all my single friends to have faith and ask of the Good Lord he sure will bless you with your soulmate!

Three and a half years ago, I prayed and got mine too. I got everything I prayed for in him. Eight months before he found me, I broke up with the person I was dating, told him I needed to clear my path for my blessings. On a sheet of paper I wrote everything I wanted in and of a man. Held my Bible every day, read my list, and earnestly believed. Bammm!!! He found me, 3.5 years now. I'm treated like a queen . Pray, be patient, don't be discouraged. Btw, I'm now 62 yrs

@@freespirit7450 , my advise to you is this..focus on God. All that I will tell you here is not judgemental, its from experience. The enemy can cause you to have negativity about a situation, in order to block it from happening. Dont allow any bad feelings, or negativity, or depression to come in. Pray about it again, be specific about your feelings, and what you want, and why you want it. Back that up with scripture. Then, you don't need to pray again, just thank God for it when ever you think about it. Everyday, began to treat God like you would a husband. Wake up, and fix your self up. Talk to God often. Spend time with him often. Get into your Bible, learn about him, his likes and dislikes. Speak scripture out loud about what you are believing for. Get rid of all baggage, (past relationships etc. cut them off cause they block, dont seek out new relationships for a while.) This will prepare you, and put you into the right frame of mind, and heart. Then, before you know it, BOOM. Remember, you don't find the husband. You don't look for one, husband finds you. Also, it most likely wont happen until you learn to be happy alone, just you, and God. I know, that sounds like ages, but I promise it happens so quickly with a proper mind set! A year from now, you will be praising God. It sounds hard, but soon after you put this into motion, you will be content with all of this, and you will also grow in the Lord. Same. Broke up with a guy, prayed for the right man. God put a love in my husband's heart for me. So much so that when my husband saw me for the first time he knew he would marry me. That was 40 years ago next month.

Married for 18years- together 22 years. I told God I'd had enough of dating and "loving my way" and I was ready to do it His way. Very shortly thereafter- met my husband.

Then when I finally was found by my husband, his different musical phases and life phases fit all the different random “wait now I want a hardcore drummer for a husband.” “Someone in the ministry.” “Someone in a 1930 band.” “ someone who is good at math.” “Someone who plays the banjo.” “Someone who is into art.” “Someone who is good with computers.” “ someone who is quiet.” Every phase and new hobby he had matched the years I prayed for.

This happened to me too. Prayer is Power but you need to be specific as to what you want. Write in down, say it out loud in prayer, then let it go and wait! You also need enough wisdom to perceive when your command, which was made in prayer, has been granted.

My mom wrote a list of her ideal man and then one showed up that checked off everything on her list after many years of some not so great relationships which taught her what she wanted. He’s such an angel and really is ideal for her. They say it gets better and better. I’m sure they are a match made in heaven.

I'm a Muslim and often prayed for a good husband and one day I had a real prayer to God, asking for exactly what I wanted and I asked God to make me ready for marriage and the husband for me to also be ready for marriage, and the next day my now husband contacted me asking me to consider him for marriage (we were colleagues at the time), and he is an amazing husband, mashaAllah.

I always tell women that want to be married, stop dating everyone and pray specifically for what you want in your husband. Be prepared to wait(sometimes impatiently). The Heavenly Father comes on His time not ours but He’s alway on time.
I prayed for mine and was blessed with him. Was tired of dating duds and wasting my time. Be specific and trust God to provide. While you are trusting, do ALL you can to be READY for your blessing. 🙏🏿 🙏🏿 🙏🏿

Wow. Just spent a girls weekend with my friends. One of the conversations that came up was me feeling like I’d never be able to trust a man again after all I’ve been through. I was pleasantly surprised to hear Viola share her love story and how she kept her promise to God. We rarely hear celebrities share their spiritual beliefs and walk so it was great to hear something transparent about her.
Listen, when you pray, believe and have faith, best believe the universe is gonna grant you your wish. I did pray for my partner. While praying, I kept myself pure. My body wasn't being defiled.
I refused to settle for mediocrity and the bare minimum. I can honestly, I was blessed with exactly who and what I always have been praying for in a life partner. Gotta walk the walk when you're talking the talk!

I think praying is one thing and timing is another. Some get what they ask for almost immediately, others wait years. So much emphasis is put into "right now", society makes it seem like if it's not immediate, its delayed. That isn't true at all.
We all have different timings, different length of days. Only believe what you desire was put in there by God, pray and live. Don't wait till a prayer is answered to enjoy life, it's too short.
3 weeks. Must be nice. Some of us have been praying for years. Still no answer.
