I want a good Dragon mono Team, it'll be hard at first, but with time it could absolutely destroy. Edit: I'm guessing this was an old pre-recorded video which is why you forgot Paldea so here goes, Gen 9 Team: Meowscarada, Houndoom, Krookadile, Kingambit, Grimmsnarl, and Weavile. You can use Mabosstiff, Honchcrow, Umbreon and Lokix, as well as Brute Bonnet, Iron Jugulis or Roaring Moon post-game. You get Sprigatito and Houndour Early, along with Nymble and Maschiff as early party members. The rest will take a bit of searching. Finally you could use Luxray if you think it should be a dark type, maybe give it a Dark Tera-Type. I probably missed some others like Zoroark, Hydreigon, Tyranitar, the four legendaries of ruin...look the team I made was off the top of my head, the point is Paldea has a lot of Dark Types.
A word of advice: don’t sleep on Liepard. I remember another UA-camr, Speedster, who called it his ace in a Black Mono-Dark run, becoming stronger than even his Krookodile. And with Assist, it’s easy to understand why.

Paldea is definitely interesting to do monotype teams in for one simple reason - Tera. The gym leaders use it to have Pokemon of unrelated types, so I've been doing the same and it's pretty interesting. Of course this does also mean that I'm less flexible with it since I can only tera a specific Pokemon and always must do so ASAP, but it's still cool.
My Alolan Dark Team was: Incineroar, Malamar, Alolan Muk, Honchkrow, Zoroark, & Tyranitar (traded it in for Alolan Rattata [did Not like Alolan Raticate, and obvs better]) My Galarian Dark Team was: Obstagoon (as my Replacement Starter), Krookodile, Skuntank (because Drapion was on my Poison Team), Grimmsnarl, Bisharp, & Mandibuzz
Scrafty and Honchkrow are my Dark-type MVPs. Sick designs, great abilities, nice coverage, decent availability, and I just have fun using them whenever I can.
Base 70 Speed is GREAT in playthrough. You'd probably have good IVs (if you like me bother to reset wild encounters) and a lot of EVs to outspeed pokemon of way higher levels. I play Crystal right now and I found out my lv25 Slowpoke natually outspeeds wild lv24 Psyduck. I mean, it still could be Quick Claw firing two times in a row, but I calculated and it really is possible if Psyduck has 0 Speed EV, it can actually be better than that, but it's not possible that my Slowpoke already has enough stat exp. to boost its Speed from low 20s to 35, while 31 is kind of realistic (I mean, not really, but, who knows...) UPD: Nah, forget it, it's got 18 Speed, it was just Quick Claw two times in a row. But potentially it could have up to ~30 Speed at lv25 if I had hit a lot of Rattatas or something.
My mono dark type team in gen 9 is meowscarada, Greninja, incineroar, tyranitar, urshifu, hydreagon/roaring moon, before the dlc's i used kingambit in the place of urshifu, chien-pao and chi-yu instead of greninja and incineroar. Krookodile, Honchkrow, Weavile and Houndoom where also great pokemons, gen 9 has so many amazing dark types its really hard to chose from
Obstagoon and Grimmsnarl were both part of my OG team for Pokémon Shield. During sword and shield, did anyone else feel like their team was just extra good for some reason? Like I used: Cinderace, Corviknight, Obstagoon, Grimmsnarl, Dracovish and Toxtricity (Amped Form is Best Form) if I did a nuzlocke it would’ve been so easy, I don’t think a single Pokémon died the entire time, especially after they evolved
The best dark type team members to me are Bisharp/Kingambit & Grimmsnarl, though the latter comes late into the gen but carries your survivability with double screens.
I played with a Dark team in a gen 4 Rom hack with active fairy typing inGame and I had No issues my team consisted of 👇🏽 Houndoom Hydrogon Bisharp Drapion Tyranitar Honchkrow
I'm sorry but you didn't explain the caveat that you get cubfoo at a super low level and then you have to level it up to the 60's to challenge the respective tower to evolve it into whichever form you want.
Wait your telling me not every pokemon fan has 2 GBC, 2 GBA, 2 DS, 2 3DS, AND 2 switches? That is not even getting into the 2 pokebank and home subscriptions
However in Gen 2 all the GOOD ones are practically worthless since you get them AFTER beating the E4 or in the case of the Dark version of Eevee by the time I COULD evolve it to its dark type I still beat the Elite 4 FIRST.
In-game availability isn't that bad for pawniard? You must not know Unova that well if you forgot that route 9 is right before the 8th gym in black and white
Great teams, just disappointed that Drapion didn't make it on more.... only 1 weakness and Bulky seems more useful when almost all other dark types are glass cannons, EX: Zoroark

In cases where only 4-5 pokemon are available before post game you could give your opinion on which one would make for the best duplicate to use.

You cannot get a Dark Team for Platinum? Drapion, Weavile, Absol, Umbreon, Houndoom, Honchkrow, Drapion, Spiritomb, Skatank
Then problem is you can only do that in a platinum not for the other games of Sinnoh
There are 6 usable dark types in DP, but sad one is version exclusive, the other is Spiritomb.

0:40 I’m seeing 7 dark types in the Platinum dex (8 if you include Spiritomb but that’s kind of almost impossible to get in Platinum now)
X and Y gave me mega Tyranitar. I really wish that roster of dark types carried all the way to violet
