Someone pointed out that Turtonator for Alola was version exclusive. It slipped my mind my b lol. Use Talonflame instead! For Galar, use Ninetales or Torkoal. I am actually gonna lean more towards Torkoal because imo its underrated for ingame purposes. Ninetales is still good too though so you can't go wrong with either choice imho.
@@hey_its_branden yes!!! I used to always ditch my Unova starters because I've used Samurott too much, Snivy is Snivy, and Emboar is the 3rd Fire/Fighting type in a row. Then I learned it could learn Scald and that made it become my 2nd favorite Fire/Fighting type
My favorite types, in order, are Dragon, Dark, Poison, Ghost, Ground, Fire, and Steel. I always try to mono team with every gen, so these videos are pretty cool.

I wound up with Swampert, Milotic, a shiny Gyarados (I actually ditched the one I raised because I happened to find a shiny Magikarp while fishing and I've never had a shiny on a team before), Azumarill, Tentacruel and Sharpedo. It was a pretty solid team and a lot of fun to use
Emboar would be the starter he "forgets" to talk about like come on yall the Emboar slander is pointless and unnecessary and I'm sick of it being compared to blaziken and infernape. Like stop hating on it and just admit it's a good Pokémon great stats, and amazing move pool
Houndoom is X exclusive. As much as I love it over Pyroar, Pyroar should be the option to use. Charizard is post game in Galar. Flareon and Ninetales are options for Galar.
Little story on Slugma named him Krispy in my playthrough and was so pissed off because the mon just sucked. I kept him on my team the whole game and managed to keep him on my team vs. the elite 4, but my GOD was it infuriating! Moral of the story don't give a great name to a bad mon it's not worth the struggle.

Plus he's including dlc and you can't progress in crown tundra until after you become champion. So including dlc sword and shield doesn't actually end until you get to the Galarian star tournament.

And since crown tundra added content that takes place after the "post game" that technically means crown tundra is now the post game for sword and shield

Great video bro! My team in SV actually ended up being half fire type with Skeledirge, Armarouge and Shiny Pyroar. I’d suggest the best team for SV Fire type edition to be: Skeledirge, Armarouge/Ceruledge, Talonflame, Arcanine, Pyroar, and Paldean Tauros Blaze Breed. I’m sure I’m blanking on other fire type options but I know this would be a good team! Actually I believe there’s access to Torkoal and Larvesta early on so maybe use those instead.

In Kalos, Charizard Y would be superior because it would set up the harsh sunlight for more firepower for the fire team

If you do Pokemon den manipulation, you can get a Charmander very early, so I'd say it's fair game to include.
