A company in Australia just released a screen for the 2019 to 2023 models
Just installed mine last night so far I’m happy with it.
What year is yours? And everything is working the back up camera and the steering control?
@@000blackapple000 I wasn’t able to get the steering wheel controls to work yet on the left side, I installed the cable that was provided and hooked it up per instructions. Other than that it’s been awesome. I’ll contact them for further help when I can. It’s under warranty if there is any issues. Still very happy with the item.
Can you change the button colors from blue to red?

My apologies, life got busy. Install was pretty straightforward watch the company install and you will be fine. As for the functionality of the unit I’m very happy with it. After I figured out how the setting and screens work. As for the question about Netflix/UA-cam it is full screen when playing. Very easy to use data from your cell phone. Still learning a lot of functions but I’m very happy with it.

Sirius, steering wheel controls, with the included adapter, work.
It really is plug and play except for the steering wheel cable.
mine didn't require the steering wheel cable...worked without it

Do you have a video demonstration of use with the factory 360 camera system? Do you have an option to replace the factory 360 with something directly connected? I have front, side mirrors, cargo, trailer, and of course back up camera.

No, not in my experience.
Was surprisingly easy to install and get set up. I didn't need quite a few of the included adapters and actually had to take some off for some of the features to work correctly. Was wondering if there was a place to go to get updates.

Yes you can. I forget the specific settings, but they are there.

can someone send me a picture of the settings in "factory settings" I think I screwed mine up and now my sound is fine/normal, but I can't get ANY sound in the GPS, is there a setting I screwed up?
Do a factory reset in the settings and start over.
I had an issue with my AC controls but after a rest, it all worked again.

Its very glossy. I have it and also you can clearly see in this video its glossy not matte

Great video. Do you have any issues with bluetooth audio? I have the same radio, and i cant get any sound out of it. The console radio works fine, its just bluetooth and android auto as far as i can tell.

did you plug the aux cord into your center console?...I had the same problem and that fixed it
I just installed this in my 2017 Silverado IOB, and I have no way to control the volume. You used the left knob for volume control but on mine, it only controls the radio station or does nothing when im in android auto. Please help.

Gmc Sierra Denali 2018, did all the setting as per this video, and check everything accordingly, but the original screen (console) showing black and the rear camera is also not working.
Steering controls and open door signs work, also on car play if i make a call or ask siri the sound stops working and goes from aux to radio automatcally, i have to manually press the media source button untill i start hearing sound again, please help
Hello I'm having the same problems with my screen as well and nobody seems to know the answer or how to fix the problems. I know we are not the only ones with this radio in a sierra denali edition. I've checked everything but it's still turns black when I go to reverse and shows black when I touch the console button
You have to unpair your phone from the stock bluetooth in your truck.
Make sure it is only paired with the unit.
Afterward, it should work properly.
@@MikeBMW the issue is the system won’t recognize the dummy aux being plugged in and I can’t get the sound working other than the stock radio. Whenever I press “Media”, the only option I get is to pair a device to the stop radio. Any idea how to fix it? Is there un update to fix the issue?
@@House-m.d. Forget your stock connection for Bluetooth.
Be sure you Aux works with a device plugged in.
Do NOT connect your phone to the stock Bluetooth, ever, forget it.
Only connect to the Bluetooth of the unit.
It will disconnect the Bluetooth connection after 15 seconds or so and connect to the unit on WiFi.
In fact. forget both of them, reconnect to the unit only and it should work.

If someone can tell me why my CarPlay has no sounds I’ll Venmo that person 50 bucks. And it has to fix the problem. Note when the CarPlay is disconnected audio works
Did you ever get an answer? Just got mine installed, radio works but no bluetooth/androidauto/youtube app/etc. i plugged in aux dummy plug, console sees and shows aux input, but only radio makes sound.

No sound help
Be sure you've unpaired from your stock bluetooth and are only connected to the bluetooth of the unit (it will disconnect that connection and connect via it's internal wifi connection to your phone).
Also, be sure you have that dummy Aux plug placed in the Aux of the center console.
@@MikeBMWin another comment on this video theres a guy thats says that if you dont have sound you have to stay connected to your stock stereo Bluetooth and to the new stereo Bluetooth at the same time in order for it to work. I tried both and still have no sound on apps. Only when i go to console.
@@marthagarcia2784 You have to forget your stock radio. Be sure the dummy aux cord is plugged in to the Aux in the middle storage area. Then, pair with the new radio and you'll have sound.
