OUTSTANDING!! I've played this piece many times. Any musician playing it should be having FUN - and it should SHOW in the performance, exactly as it does here. Too many performances are sterile these days. Lowest common denominator Sousa is blasphemy. Hooray for musicians who love what they do.
A genius arrangement - it should be played at major events.....
Just watched this with my dad who was a member the Jascha Heifetz masterclass in 1971-72. He said, "Heifetz would have been quite impressed." Bravo!
