Charming playing - it sings throughout - and the intonation is truly wonderful. Bravo!!! One observation (critique): the cadenza is played too carefully for my taste - it needs to be audacious, reckless, intrepid, and daring.
It's too bad that a lot of violinists press the violin against their neck so hard that it leaves a mark. I would think that at this level they would notice something isn't right.
I know this is 3 years late, but it’s very easy to get that if you have paler complexion and have done it for a long time, and I think it actually shows that they are able to play without tension, because the weight has to go somewhere, and it’s better shown as a mark rather than through unseen tension in the shoulder that may have WAAY more drastic effects
@@mbradley5683 I've played for over 12 years and never had even an indentation or line from weight, let alone a mark. The weight of a violin (which is one of the lightest instruments in existence) goes straight down on the shoulder, only way it would slide towards the neck is if you are tilting the violin upwards which is improper.
holding the violin comfortably including finding the right position/chin rest /shoulder rest combination is horrendously difficult and can take decades to get right
A 13 year old violinist myself and I admire this performance so much. It’s such a hard piece!
6:45 this part gets me every single time
All thumbs up! She reminds me what I was doing when I was 17.
Esplendor de artista !!!!
Hermoso ver y escuchar a la nueva generacion, que interpreta a nuestro amado Beethoven :)
Fabulous sound production. Great playing!!
magnific

Brava!! Nicely performed. You're on your way to a great career.
Beautiful!
Geneva is a firsthand-rate violinist. A pity we do not hear more of her these days.
Wonderful!

More than she did? It is not an athletic competition....
Pedant
Maybe what you actually wanted was her to break the violin at the end

a lot of times it's because we're allergic to the material of the chinrest. that's why there are hypoallergenic ones on the market

@@rororo2283 I've had a rash from allergens in a chinrest but never a bruise. Looks like a pressure mark that this violinist had.
