Timothy James oh btw let me give some video ideas for you. first of all if you put Turkish subs to Turkey related videos, that video can blow up because Turkish people LOVES watching their stuffs lol. Also you can react to kpop with ur friends especially Bts, blackpink, bigbang, twice etc. that video’ll be watched by so many kpop fans, also in kpop there are so many Japanese idols so yeah that would be fun to watch.
I got 8 of them right as I played along. Here were my guesses: 1. Cantonese. I think I even heard her say Hong Kong a few times. 2. Turkish. It has a very significant sound. Other turkic languages also sound similar. 3. French. Again, some very uniquely French sounds. 4. Korean. That last word in the sentence in particular made me think it is Korean. 5. Arabic. There are some guttural and wide-mouth sounds that are unique to Semitic languages. 6. Thai. Tonal and South-East Asian sounding. 7. Albanian. I first thought it was Romanian because it sounds similar for some reason, but I thought I heard something like "Shiqperiye" or something, which sounded very Albanian. 8. Tagalog/Taglish. The English threw me off for a second, but Tagalog code-switching is quite common so I realized what it could be. 9. I was stumped here and guessed Maltese. Portuguese can tend to sound strange. 10. I guessed Norwegian, but I'll give myself some credit there. They're very similar, especially if you consider the dialect continuum that exists there.
When she was the only person to guess Arabic instead of French, I felt so bad for her when she was hiding her face, but otherwise trying to not show that she was feeling embarrassed.
This was so fun and interesting! I got 6 right but one of them is my language😂 i’m from Saudi Arabia there’s a lot of filipino’s here so we hear Tagalog all the time
I was also playing along watching this, it was fun and I've got 6 Cantonese French Thai Korean Tagalog Swedish only because, I studied 3 languages apart from my mother tongue and English and watch other country's drama series and movies
for Tagalog, I first heard English then I heard Spanish so I just thought I understood the Spanish well and said Spanish but tagalog has Spanish and English in it and I had no idea
I had so much fun watching this video. I tried guessing the languages as well. I guessed 6 correct-French, Korean/Hangul, Arabic, Thai, Albanian, Tagolog, and Portuguese.. I guessed "1 of the Chinese languages" for Cantonese so I count that as 7 correct. Then I guessed "soft German" for the Swedish language which could make 8 correct. You almost got me on Tagalog but my hubby had just explained that language to me yesterday. Great job guys!
Nice video. Technically, the 8th language is Filipino, not Tagalog. They may sound the same but they're different. Filipino is based on Tagalog but Filipino is infused with other languages like Spanish, English, Chinese, Indian, and other languages. Tagalog uses the ABKD alphabet while Filipino uses the English alphabet plus ñ and NG.
I got 7/10. I missed Cantonese, Albanian, and Swedish. The main reason why most people mistake European Portuguese as Russian is that we are more exposed to Brazilian Portuguese. European Portiguese really sounds like Russian.
Albanians accept😁 apologies. Its the same if an Albanian don't get japonaise 😵 (it's mostly impossible bcs many see anime) so it's a very funny😂🤣 video and I also joined the quiz🤔 of guessing languages.🇦🇱♥️🇹🇷♥️🇯🇵♥️🤗 IAM sincere 😊 with my answer so let's see: *My results:* 1. Thai🇹🇭 or Vietnam🇻🇳.❌ 2.As a fancy in years of Turkish tenelovela and a lover ❤️of TURKEY 🇹🇷! Isn't familiar 😁 so italian or german! ❌ Again it's a great video !
I had 7. I just didn't know Turkish, Albanian and Swedish. I studied Chinese, Arabic, French, Spanish and Portuguese and the funny part was when the Albanian part was playing I thought that sounds so similar to Portuguese -maybe I'm losing it... then when I heard the real Portuguese I was like -now that I remember.
This video is great, but I wish the Filipino part use more Tagalog words. Also it’s not Tagalog, it’s actually “Filipino Language” a standardized version of Tagalog. Many people are confused between these two, even Filipinos. Filipino language is our national language, it’s made up of Tagalog and many Spanish and English loanwords. For many Filipinos today, pure Tagalog will sound “too deep” because English and Spanish loan words are more commonly used.
5:40 It is North Korean announcer voice. Not kankoku(South Korean). I understand foreigners might not tell the difference between two. But I would like to let you know they are different just in case. It is hard to agree that North Korean laguage represents Republic of Korea.😊

I got the region to a lot of them correct, but that's not really specific enough (like i guessed that region of Asia around Thailand for Thai, but not Thai specifically, Chinese adjacent for Cantonese (did sound familiar though), middle Eastern for Arabic, and generally got the general region of the languages, but not what language) I fully did not get Portuguese, Swedish, Albanian, or French though (i guessed Russian for French, mildly embarassing because i live in Canada, i hear it sometimes and I've seen written French on everything for as long as I've lived) I got Korean and Tagalog specifically correct, Korean has a very distinct sound (+ I've had some exposure to it, knowing it's basic sounds, though not knowing anything of how to speak it) and Tagalog kinda stands out with its half English but not really ness
Estoy impresionado con el Albanés. Suena exactamente igual que el acento portugués de algunas personas, tanto que como hablante de español en estaba preguntando cómo es que no entendía nada de lo que decía.
how about an episode mainly on Asian languages? i got Cantonese, Tagalog, Swedish, French, Thai and Arabic right. im from Singapore and i speak Malay, english and Javanese.
I got 6 right. My guesses: 1. Mandarin - so close 2. Malay - way off 3. French YAY 4. Korean YAY 5. Arabic YAY 6. Vietnamese - close tonality 7. Portuguese - surpisingly similar tonality 8. Tagalog YAY 9. Portuguese YAY 10.Swedish YAY
Got 8, 😄 curiously I wasn't able to guess the first and last languages, but I was close enough to be aware that they're chinese & germanic languages respectively, hahaha
Actually Filipino is the correct answer because its a mix of Spanish and English and Tagalog But so far Tagalog is counted since Filipino is based on Tagalog
