@@caroskaffee3052 Germany is a developed country, and even without Hitler, German has the opportunity to be understood by foreigners. Only countries that are economically ordinary or even backward, and are world-renowned for their lack of other historical factors, will be ignored by people. On the contrary, China used to be very poor, but due to its famous ancient civilization, one of the four origins of civilizations in Eurasia, and culturally influential regions such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, even if it was once very poor, Chinese would still be understood by people, and the same as India.

For Indian girl, on screen it says she is speaking Malyalam but she said that she was speaking in Telugu. Even our girl was not sure in which language she was speaking. Some south Indians can speak multiple south-Indian languages of nearby states.
I don't know why south Indians are so upset because their language isn't even 2nd or 3rd most spoken Indian language in India. 1. Hindi, 2.Bengali, 3. Marathi, 4. Telegu, 5.Tamil. Why do south Indians hate other Indian languages? We never said we hate south Indian languages.
We hate Hindi imposition. English should be common language all over India. This is safe for our culture as well as political safety of South Indian states.

This is the good thing about the Filipino language. You could either use the Spanish loanword, an English word or just the pure Tagalog word in your sentence. The Filipina knew that if she answers “eskwelahan” (escuel-han) for the wordd school, the Brazilian and Spanish ladies would get it. The food though has hispanic influences that’s why when she answered “lechón”, it was the hint already along with “Kumusta” (from the Spanish como está).
Telugu is spoken by 80 million speakers globally ...Malayalam by 35 million ....But since they are Indian languages they aren't popular like European languages !
Got the first two pretty easy, although I mistook "Kumusta" for "Como esta", but I'm like, the first place that pops into my head in Asia where people also speak Spanish is the Philippines, so Tagalog. The lady from India was very difficult, I'm just happy I recognized the name of her language after she said it. The Dutch girl, the hard "Ich", like "Eek", and she didn't say "schule" for school. Whatever the northern German state east of the Netherlands is called now.

I WAS PISSED OF WHEN SHE SAID “CHAI TEA” 😂
I know right 😭😭 chai is tea it’s like saying “tea tea” 💀
I guess ik where they’re coming from tho cuz in their pov tea is the watery stuff with very little flavour and chai is the “spicy” masala-y drink that’s quite strong
Telugu speaking girl incorrectly said 50% of India speaks that language; less than 8% of India speaks Telugu. It is popular in 2 states Andra Pradesh and now Telangana; and very little elsewhere in the country.
Yeah that’s right, although in school, at least in my school, we had 2 languages to choose from for 2nd and 3rd language and they were Telugu and Hindi probably cuz I went to school in a mostly Telugu speaking state haha
As an Indian I don't understand What that Indian girl said India is very diverse so the skin colour
But she was wrong Telugu and Tamil is uncommon language in India only around 5% and 6% speak
@@kunal._.25
Telugu is the largest spoken South Indian language
4th most spoken Indian language
15th most spoken language in the world & you are saying it's uncommon lol
@@kunal._.25Telugu and Tamil are big languages. Northeast Indian languages are the uncommon ones.
Philippines - it's the easiest one among the participants. It's a given. She just made the word school a little harder for the girls on the right team. But majority in the Philippines, they will say "eskwelahan" or "eskwela" for the word school.
From a European perspective: no. We have no connection what Filipino sounds like. Dutch, however, has a distinctive sound and should be recognised easily, especially by the Brazilian lady who speaks German. She should have known that it’s NOT German but it’s very similar
@@afjo972 i'm european and knew it was filipino right away despite knowing close to nothing about the language. the way she introduced herself had a very strong spanish influence and the philippines were colonized by spain
That's why I love this Filipino representative more, she's a good player. I want to see her more in the future videos.

"So what is the most popular festival in October in your country?"
Probably some city concert during german unity day but most definately not oktoberfest since that happens for 90% in September
Dammm that German guy accent was really deep but it's very attractive and lovely gives like an asmr vibes 😂😂😂

I laugh so hard when Britt started to remember where she met him lol
Telugu is NOT spoken by 50% people in India. It’s more like 5% all the southern languages combined makes up less than 30% of Indian speakers 😂😂😂
Yup around 43% speak Hindi and 9% speak Bengali which comprises the most spoken languages
She said 50-50 chance, not 50%
Right,I don't know what logistics that girl used to describe the ratio.Even English is more prominent than Telugu. Its just totally impractical.
Yup , telegu is spoken by just 6% population of India not 50% ...
Yeah I was thinking Tamil and since she said it's 50-50 I thought she was from Sri Lanka
I'm not accusing them of cheating, but can't they literally hear each other's group while coming up for an answer? 😂
Me when the most German, German wandered in and it was the most lost they got haha
Philippines 🇵🇭. Tagalog has cognates from Bahasa Indonesian 🇮🇩. 2:23. Team 1 is getting close! 😃
Tagalog has loan words from Spain 🇪🇸. Lechon is also popular in Mexico 🇲🇽. Same word. The Brazilian 🇧🇷 immediately guessed Filipino 😃! The Filipina did not say escuela as a Tagalog word for school 🏫. 2:50 Team 1 deduced the nation to The Philippines 🇵🇭! Team 2 is guessing. The Brazilian is open to say that another nation uses some Tagalog words. 3:33 Both teams match answers! 😃😃
Good 👍 deduction for Netherlands 🇳🇱
15:00. Luckily, I learned German 😌 Team 1 is done. 😖 Team 2 is right ✅.
I love how they thought that Frozen is Finnish when it's actually Norwegian 😂
11:07 Chai(tea) it is.
& she was certainly expecting that answer.
I am myself telugu, but I don’t understand why did she say “vanakkam” which is a tamil salutation instead of “namaskaram” 😭
She said “ vanakkam” instead of “ namaskaram” to Confuse them and not them find out her nationality . So intelligent girl ❤ .love from India
I think she didn't want to say "Namaskaram" because that would've been a huge giveaway that she's from India since it sounds similar to "Namaste" and therefore, she used an alternative 😂
She could have said dannamulu
As Gujarati, I knew she was not speaking any North Indian Language. It didn't sound like Tamil also, Tamil doesn't have any/less Sanskrit words. Malayalam does but it sounds quite similar to Tamil so that's out too. I was 50:50 Kannada or Telugu. Man, India is so freaking diverse even Indians can't guess the languages.
Its telgu
@@betsy9124 Yes, She said that.

How could British girl be successful with Indian, Filipina,DUTCH! But failed with German?🤔It remains a mystery to me😅
i'm a native german speaker and this guy kinda has an unusual dialect so i don't really blame her

@@ShevaAlomar301 Native German too. What dialect? He is speaking "Hochdeutsch" with a different accent from mine, but that's all.
it seems Finnish is the magical mysterious northern european language for that girl which she has no idea what it sounds like.
Finnish is not even in the same language family as German, so why would they think this German man would be Finnish?
Obviously, his accent was one of the Germanic languages, even if not standard German, and Finnish sounded very different from any Indo-European language.
And ironically he does speak in a very standard/neutral German accent, using very standard words that one would learn in textbooks. 😂
I honestly feel as if most people especially from the US don't know what german actually sounds like if the words are not screamed in a hitler-esque way
@@caroskaffee3052 Germany is a developed country, and even without Hitler, German has the opportunity to be understood by foreigners.
Only countries that are economically ordinary or even backward, and are world-renowned for their lack of other historical factors, will be ignored by people.
For example, all Southeast Asian countries except Thailand and Vietnam.
On the contrary, China used to be very poor, but due to its famous ancient civilization, one of the four origins of civilizations in Eurasia, and culturally influential regions such as Hong Kong and Taiwan, even if it was once very poor, Chinese would still be understood by people, and the same as India.
There’s a reason people call us Scandinavians because we’re scandalous🤣

I mean Andrea and Ana being excited and saying that Tagalog was similar to their languages was a hint to the other team. I would've kept it to myself, I guess I'm more competitive lol
“What do they speak in Sweden, Swiss?” 😂

Paaralan is used in academics but for casual thing it is eskwelahan. The Filipino representative does not know better on presenting its own language.
I knew it was Telugu heard it a lot when I visited south😂😂They guessed Bengali, well Bengali sounds the sweetest 😅😊❤🇮🇳

It's also not very useful outside of a relatively compact geographical area.
Maybe the guy was tough for them to guess because his accent was very similar to the Dutch lady, but it was obviously German, is he maybe Frisian or from Hanover or Hesse?
