I love this show too, so funny. If you love a tear jerker of a show could I recommend THE REPAIR SHOP. This is about members of the public who turn up with battered, broken, damaged artifacts that mean so much to them because it was their parents or grandparents and it's the only thing they have and it's for very sentimental reasons they've kept the item. A team of experts renovate, repair these battered items and present them back in great condition. This show makes me cry some of the stories behind the items and the look on their faces when they get the items back is priceless. Another great video ladies, thank you for the channel. ❤
I’ve watched the horse story about 5 times. Watching now I needed tissues for the tears of laughter. It’s always funny - every episode is hysterical. Bob Mortimer stories, true or false on show, absolutely tissue laughing time. Really they are all brilliantly funny on this show. British humour at its hysterically funny best 😂😂😂
A stand up bit by Kevin Bridges that is very good is "Bus Stop".
Must watches include: Lee Mack's Wok Around the Clock; Bob Mortimer performs his own dentistry; *anything* with Claudia Winkleman; Lee Mack's set of keys; and "This is My" featuring Mick ("This is My" is a segment where a guest comes on and one team all claim to know them, but only one really does, the other team has to try to figure out who does). I could go on, but that's a start.
EDIT: I have to add Sophie Hermann ruins Oktoberfest, wherein she ends up flirting with David Mitchell.
His stand up comedy shows are usually filmed in Glasgow where his accent is thicker. You might struggle wit it. I was fortunate to see one his shows last year. Complete sell out
Bob Mortimer was born to tell tall stories, he's brilliant 😁
Yes Bob Mortimer is absolutely on another level of storytelling - you MUST check him out on this show.
Go Bob Mortimer 😆😂
Bring on Bob M. I’ll need the tissues again 😂😂😂😂
The show has been on awhile though so there's a few episodes that spoil other Bob stories. Best to start with the early ones first.
Agreed, but Bob's relationship with David on the show has been a slow descent into Hell for poor David (I think his record must be something like 0 for 8), and there are often call-backs to previous crazy "Bob" stories, so it really helps to watch them in order if you can.
The guy in the middle of the opposing team, who was ranting with incisive fury about the illogicality of Kevin’s story, is David Mitchell, who is a UA-cam rabbit hole all on his own. His furiously and fabulously logical rants are legendary, and well worth further investigation.
And I am proud to say that he was born in my city, Salisbury.
The Mitchell rant on QI about WWII is a goto watch
Everyone on this show is incredible! The guy who says "I think he's making it up and I'm on his team!" is Brian Cox, ex musician for D:Ream and award winning physicist
This is v funny and I don't want to be too po-faced about it but this is classic British upper class condescension towards working class people which in this case is proved spectacularly misplaced. Kevin Bridges is the finest stand up comedian in Britain imho.
@@walkinghenry7905 His David Mitchell's Soapbox rants are great. Also, his thoughts on Christmas. Also, the entirety if Mitchell & Webb. Also...
As many have said, Bob Mortimer is the true master of WILTY. There are some compilations out there that I'm sure you'll enjoy. Greg Davies, Rhod Gilbert and James Acaster are also very funny in this format.
The Queen of WILTY was Claudia Winkleman. She fooled them almost every time.
Henning Wehn is probably the next best after Bob.
I agree Mortimer, Wehn and Acaster are amazing
Don't forget Henning When, the German comedy Ambassador. He can tell 'em with the best........
@@gardenshed6043 Henning is an incredibly funny guy. I watched the UA-cam video he made, walking around Bournemouth on a day trip. His observations and comments were comedy gold......
Debbie has it right. As a Scot, I believed this story right from the start. 18-year-old Scots lads get into all sorts of scrapes abroad. One of the funniest episodes of this light programme. Well done, ladies, for watching. Your reactions are also hilarious. xx
Yes as a native of Blackpool where Glasgow took its holidays back in the 1960s It rang true as something that folk do on holiday.
Knowing the Bulgariana currency was a giveaway
You could never binge watch 'Would I lie to you' because you would laugh too much. Yes, it is always this funny and well worth watching. I love it.
That would be painful 😂😂
@@TheNatashaDebbieShow
Every bit of laughter pain is worth it 😂😂😂- and I’m not even British
@@TheNatashaDebbieShow, better late than never 😂 , the only sad thing is when you needed cheering up for any reason these are the videos to play , but don't worry you now have loads of videos and hundreds of hours of fun coming with all the different types of British panel shows humour 😂😂😂
WILTY is VERY popular for British based reaction channels to do. Bob Mortimer is the most popular guest on the show. David Mitchell and Lee Mack are usually the team captains and members of their team are random people from other comedians to chefs to tv presenters to athletes
If you're checking out Bob Mortimer, it's important to do Mortimerian Tales, a compilation of his appearances as some of the individual episodes contain spoilers. Claudia Winkleman is worth a look too.
@@alankenny8650 those long compilations can get blocked plus they have lots of no context clips and several unfinished lies when it doesn't say the answer or cuts out the other contestants in the identity rounds. They aren't good for people who haven't seen them
@@wildwine6400 I agree, but the reactions can be split into each tale, and the other points you make don't apply to the Bob Mortimer compilation.
"random people from other comedians to chefs to tv presenters to athletes" ... to particle physicists.
@@MeFreeBee Yep, the guy who said something like "I don't believe him and I'm on his team" is a physicist. They've also had politicians and pop stars such as Lily Allen. It's a brilliant show.
Would I Lie to you is one of the best shows in the UK. Never fails to make us laugh. David and Lee are brilliant as team captains as they bounce off each other 🤣🤣🤣
As has been mentioned, Bob Mortimers stories are stuff of legend but the more you watch the more you will also appreciate how brilliant the 2 team captains are , Lee Mack and David Mitchell
The king of Would I Lie to You is a comedian called Bob Mortimer. His style of comedy just fits this show so well. Also no dirty jokes on here as the show is broadcast at 8pm before that stuff is allowed (9pm) in the UK.
Just the odd "sexual innuendo" here and there
Milton Jones tries out his jokes on his kids so they tend to be pretty clean, if a tad surreal, "wekcome to the bakery!" and "You cant Beatrice" are two of my favourites
He is but Greg Davies is absolutely hilarious when he is on and Henning wein just says everything with a straight face.
I was lucky enough to be on the front row of the audience when this was filmed, on the same side as Kevin's team. It took much longer to film this story. He told it 3 or 4 times and it got funnier. They paused in the middle and Kevin said to me "You believe me, don't you?" I nodded because I did. Great night!
Lucky you!! I am super jealous!!❤️🇨🇦
But what happened to the horse??
@@mvh9815Kevin and his friend eventually found a charity to take care of it.
@@alicemilne1444 Nice to know .Thanks😁😁
...well...the local restaurant had a special that week...!@@mvh9815
A block buster actress and a world famous physicist on the panels.
Neither of whom were particularly famous at that time. Btw, Keeley Hawes is gorgeous!!
Sat in my truck on a break, had me laughing out loud, people walking past looking at me as if I'm mad.
Epic!!!! 😁😁
I have seen it before and still cried laughing that is what WILTY is all about
This is a truly British show. It is funny because of the amount of comedians and well-known people who appear on it and their situations are real-life and unbelievable or sound reliable and are false. Watch the ones with Bob Mortimer, as that guy's life is unbelievable and so are his stories. Lee Mack and David Mitchell are so funny and are like night and day. A true British find. A rabbit hole you will descend.
WILTY is one of Britain's best gifts to the world. I thank Lee Mack and David Mitchell and all their guests for making the world a more hilarious place.
That was a surprise magic Monday wasn’t expecting a would l lie to you . Love this show and your reactions to it . The guy you liked is David Mitchell and he’s one of the captains so he’s on every week he is brilliantly funny .when Bob mortimer is a guest he sends David crazy . So glad you watched and enjoyed. I would love to see you react to more of this show ❤😂😂
The programmes where David's wife, Victoria Coren Mitchell, is a guest are hilarious.
You have just gone down the rabbit hole that is WILTY.
It's so good watching you girls laugh so much.
More of that please.
Bob Mortimer in the same show HAS to be watched he is hilarious.
Loved your reaction to this!!
Just so you know, the panelists bring in their own true stories that are given to the producers... Then on the show, they are presented with a card to read containing their own true story OR a made up story that's a lie. Up until that point they haven't seen it, so if it's a lie they have to make everything up on the spot and convince the other team it's true. If it's their real true story they must tell it in such a way as to convince the other team it's a lie.
The contestants who are able to make up believable stories on the spot are absolute masters...and then there's Bob, who's lead such a bizarre life that no matter how outrageous his tale is, you can never be certain that it isn't true. That man can spin a yarn better than anyone.
@@irisblue2332I think they had Brian blessed on once. The problem there is that everything imaginable has happened to that man.
Watching this is like when you recommend your favourite band to a friend. The next time you see them your friend is wearing the band’s T-shirt, has seen them live (twice) and is raving about their latest single.
The trick is to make the truth sound so far fetched that you make the other team think it must be false.
James Acaster and Bob Mortimer are both the funniest ever on would I lie to you
Would I Lie To You is my favourite programme. I LOVE it so much! 🤣🤣 Do watch more. They're all very funny. I recommend "Does Bob Mortimer do his own dentistry?".
Sue..you got it so right..the king Bob Mortimer has me aching with laughter so much!👏
You picked an absolute classic to start off with! Kevin Bridges' horse story is one of the funniest moments on WILTY - and that's saying something! I'd recommend anything on that show by Bob Mortimer, though WILTY overall is excellent. I'd also recommend the show "Taskmaster". The main questioner on the other team, BTW, is comedian David Mitchell who is a regular on the show.
I knew when Natasha started and said she would be great at this game that she was in for a surprise. Great guest contestants are Claudia Winkleman, Greg Davies, James Acaster, and Bob Mortimer. Another great segment is "This is My ..." in which a guest comes out that supposedly all 3 members know and tell how they know the guest but of course only one truly knows them.
That was absolutely hilarious 😂 I laughed so much I cried, especially about the counterfeit horse 🐎 😂
Right!?!
I know you don't do comedy very often, but you would love this show. The team captains, David Mitchell and Lee Mack, are hilarious, as well as many of the guest panelists. Rob Brydon, in the middle, is also very funny and is a good mimic (he imitates David Mitchell perfectly!).
This show is funny all the time you both definitely need to watch more it’s been on for years in the UK 🇬🇧 and it’s always hilarious with different guests 👍🏻😁🏴
Stories by Bob Mortimer and Rhod Gilbert will have you dying 😂
If you watch Bob Mortimer in this , Do them in order!! David Mitchell remembers the answers to a couple of previous shows and quotes them in one episode.
I know 'Would I Lie To You?' episodes by heart and still laugh at them, but watching the horse story again with you was precious. I knew you would like it when you said you didn't enjoy dirty jokes. WILTY is risk-free so check out more episodes and look out especially for Bob Mortimer baiting David Mitchell captain of the opposite team. Thank you ladies for giving me so much fun.
You need to do more of this show. There’s so much British comedy genius in this format!
Well done for understanding Kevin's accent!
The best two truth/lies of this show are definitely "The Royal Wedding" and "Cabbage Prank" 😀
Yes! Soo funny😂
Oh come! What about "theft and shrubbery"? 😅
Omg. The cabbage one is very funny.
I second the cabbage prank!! 😂😂😂
@@raybishop1130 "snorkel parka music practice room"
Watch the one with lee Mack gets invited to Harry and megs wedding. But the less said about that the better 😊
Was just going to suggest that!😊
I’ve never seen this programme before , but that was hysterical.
Watching this as a Scot it's so funny to me how much Kevin Bridges tones down his accent for these shows😂😂
YOU!
YES……Y O U !
I’m gonnae stab yooo
Gizza quid.
Kevin Bridges is one of my favourite stand ups,he’s brilliant.
Kevin does this thing on talk shows where, if someone mentions his thick accent he’ll switch to perfect King’s English at the drop of a hat. It’s weird, and he obviously has a lot of fun with it.
Well, lucky for the rest of us that he does.
@@karlmortoniv2951 every Scottish person does that tbh. It's called code switching. Usually because those from elsewhere struggle with the accent and you get a lot of "eh? What are you saying? Sorry didn't catch that" lol. Especially when talking Scots Leid, which Kev does a fair bit of. It's built in to us tbh.
@jmillar71110 It's not just a Scottish thing. I've known people from the deep southern US do it as well, sometimes without being aware of it. My sister switches from her normal accent to a more southern one sometimes when she visits family, and she wasn't raised down there. Kevin seems to have the most fun with it though.
Brilliant start to the day girls. You did well to understand Kevin’s Scottish accent. Thank you as always xx
Mortimerian Tales - Bob Mortimer on Would I Lie to You? is a must watch , its in 2 long parts , you will likely need tissues and oxygen on hand
It really is hilarious . No one like Bob, he's an absolute treasure !
Delighted that you guys 'GET'our humor ... this is one of the best shows on British TV.
Bob is on a different planet than the rest of us. He's an absolute legend. His books are worth a read.
Watch more of WILTY please! James Acaster, Bob Mortimer and Lee Mack are all brilliant.
David Mitchell questioning them, outstanding!
Keep up the reactions.😊
There are certain characters on this show who will have you in tears of laughter throughout. This is one of the most hilarious episodes but there are two others to look out for who merit a special mention, Bob Mortimer & Claudia Winkleman who are brilliant. WILTY should be a feature on your show once a month. Such a great part of British pop culture. Best wishes ladies ❤️
Great way to start the day with laughter. WILTY great, more please ❤
Without giving up anything, if you really love British humor, watch the show, from season 1 till now, every episode has a story that makes you question your brain, logic and what is up or down! I love WILTY!
I think my favourite episode had David Mitchell, the man in the video asking Kevin Bridges all the question, having to tell a story about his wife, with his wife on the team with him
Bookmarks.
Yes it's always that funny especially when Bob Mortimer is on the panel .
The two team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack are comedy geniuses
Bob Mortimer is the godfather of this show.
Brilliant storytelling.
Oh definitely do more of this show. Bob Mortimer stuff is legendary.
The Bob Mortimer tales on 'WILTY' are things of beauty. Most are available on YT.
Bob Mortimer on this program is utterly hilarious.
We are blessed to have such a consistently good show. I'm amazed how Mitchell and Mac keep coming up with gems of stories that are true season after season. All that, and it's on the BBC so no interruptions from commercial breaks.
Greg Davies school stories on this show are just great. A must watch
You MUST watch the "WILTY" exchanges between David Mitchell and Bob Mortimer!! Funniest thing ever!!
It's a great series to watch, Ladies - however, there is only 1 real GOAT who appears on WILTY - and that is, of course, Bob Mortimer - his stories often leaves you scratching your head as he tells them, and you don't know what to believe, or not! I enjoy watching any reactors checking him out, so I've seen his stories multiple times already - but it never matters . . . There is even a 2 part montage, Part 1 & 2 devoted of all of his insane stories - up to the point those were made (there have been more since he did those earlier ones though!) . . . But another effort that you might also enjoy from it is, Lee Mack's story about Harry & Megan's Wedding . . .
Absolutely any of these featuring Bob Mortimer would be great for you. He has lived a life and he's hilarious
Great 😊 we Brits have a very cool sense of humour. Jane in New Zealand 🇬🇧🇳🇿
Oh my.. Just wait, at some point you will encounter the legend that is Bob Mortimer. Bob was made for this show, so funny.
WILTY never fails to make me laugh out loud. I must have seen this clip dozens of times but I still find it hilarious. Love seeing you two laugh. Hope you carry on watching more even if you don’t video it as a reaction ( although I’m all for seeing more!) xxx
Thank you for this! My favourite clip from my favourite show ever! 😂😂😂❤❤❤
Please please more of this. I love seeing you both laugh and this show is amazing
Bob Mortimer --- Fuji 9 say no more
Unfortunately this one has a couple of spoilers at the end
Two magic words “Bob Mortimer”. You will be an instant fan.
Thank you for reminding me of this episode. I remember watching it when it aired! Brilliant. Like many have said, if you do decide to watch another one, go for one with Bob Mortimer in. He's just....well...you have to see it.
If you watch Bob Mortimer's appearances try to watch them in chronological order as his previous appearances get mentioned and it would be a spoiler.
More Would I Lie To You? please!
You two have a British sense of humour! Brilliant!
David Mitchell (middle left team, who did most of the talking) is hysterical! 😊. He’s in another brilliant show called ‘Upstart Crow’ which is based on Shakespeare’s life - really funny! 💚🧡
you girls should do more of this show especially ones with Bob Mortimer
Please please please react to more Would I lie to you or we say in the UK (WILTY) I promise you won’t regret it. Bob Mortimer is the king!!! 😂
Lovely to see you laugh so much! ❤ So glad you watched this - it's my favourite TV show and I knew you would like it because it's nice clean fun! Can't wait to see you watch more, particularly Bob Mortimer (try to watch his appearances in order - he's been on the show multiple times - as in one episode they mention some of his previous stories and you'll find out if they were truth or lies before getting to watch them yourselves!)
I also love James Acaster and his Cabbage story. Henning When is also another fun watch.
I highly recommend watching full episodes, and all episodes at some point later - whether that be with us or without us - there's so much golden, quick witted humour throughout, well worth anyone's time, especially if one is in need of a pick me up :)
Much love to you both ❤
Great reaction. Bob Mortimer, theft or shrubbery is really funny but all of Bob's are great.
As said in comments.. bob Mortimer and Sean Lock are absolutely hilarious.
I agree,.and such a dreadfully sad loss to the world when Sean passed .
Oh you've got to watch the Bob Mortimer compilation of Would I Lie To You? The man is a comedy genius❤
"Accidentally bought a horse" is my all-time favourite TV moment. So glad you watched it.
This show is AWESOME! Keep them coming please.
Any WILTY with Bob Mortimer as a guest is well worth watching.
I guessed true! I've had a few holidays in Europe, and some of my experiences are almost as mad as this. They include being booked onto a non-existent flight that should never have been advertised in the first place, being on a coach that was booked for speeding and refused to pay the fine so I had to hitch a ride on the next coach to pass through, and going for a meal in a restaurant only to find the car park had flooded during a thunderstorm and had to paddle back to the car in my bare feet.
WILTY (Would I Lie To You?) is my favourite comedy - just so funny. You’ve got to watch Bob Mortimer spinning a yarn, he’s hilarious!
It's so good that you have found this and yes, it is always this funny. Really funny! I hope you are well and the planning for your trip over here (UK), is going well too. I'm sure most people would agree to more of this show. Especially Bob Mortimer. Thank you. ✌
Welcome to the WILTY rabbit hole :-) wait till you meet Bob!
Husband gives me funny looks as I laugh away to myself. That was great girlies and you should find the show to watch it really is funny, would love to see your reaction to more of our panel shows. 👏👏👏👏👏❤❤
Moooorrree! 😅 Please. You will LOVE this show. Bob Mortimer's stories on here are brilliant but there are loads of great clips from various guests.
I have seen this reacted to before, but this i enjoyed the most.Because we "know" the two of you,i was looking forward to your reactions more.Gave me a great laugh, thankyou both xx
Just adding a vote for Bob Mortimer! "I do my own dentistry!' is hilarious!!
I love that show. I really enjoy how outrageous the stories get
Thank you for posting this one... I've never seen this show yet myself so this was a nice introduction!
Love this Show, loved this video and your reaction. You two ladies laughing so much made it even funnier.
You need to see episodes of this with Bob Mortimer as a guest
This show can be very funny! Imo the best story tellers are Bob Mortimer and James Acaster There are a lot of clips and whole episodes on the internet. The big draw is that some really unbelievable syories are actually true. The 2captains afe always the same bit tje other 2 team players change weekly. Many of these panel shows are descended from radio shows originally and rely on the skills of the panel members with no props really or prize money.
Agree with the recommendations for Mortimer and Acaster, but would add Claudia Winkleman to the group of best guests on the show. She's a great liar, and a great bluffer when her card is true. David Mitchell and Lee Mack are always reliably funny of course, but because they've been the team captains on the show for ten years their stories tend to be lies (but there are the occasional exceptions, which makes them all the funnier).
You really must see the Bob Mortimer contributions to this show. You’ll never forget them 😂😂
Thank you for this and yes it is always funny. What a lovely way on a Monday morning to start the day. With Laughter
For WILTY you should definitely do Bob Mortimer and Greg Davies. Speaking of Greg Davies, Taskmaster is also an incredible show well worth every watch.
Loved watching you ladies cracking up laughing. You have to do more WILTY, each episode is hilarious but stand outs are those that include appearances by guests Bob Mortimer, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert.
Just brilliant! More please!
Omg that was so funny really enjoyed that so much ladys thank you
This is my favourite show. Please watch any with Bob Mortimer, he is hilarious, Also Greg Davies.
Yes, many of Greg's stories relate to his previous (brief) career as a teacher, or else to his own schooldays, and they're all equally crazy, whether true or lies.
You guys have got to check Bob Mortimer on this show. He’s brilliant! There’s some really good compilations of him!
I really like the fun you guys had with this clip! :D So good that you take the time to pause and fully hear/enjoy the videos, so many reactors fail to do this! All the best!
Great reaction. Would I Lie to You is one of my favourite British shows - so funny. Cheers, from Australia.
