*In today's WWE 2K22 video I thought i'd share with you some of my predictions for the game covering Superstars, arenas, game modes and match types!* I was going to include War Games under match types but i'm not sure we'll see it this year, I think it's more likely we'll get the missing match types and then War Games the following year. What do you think? 🤔
If wargames isn't in this year I can wait til maybe next year if it's not in at launch for some reason I feel like it could possibly be added in a future update
To see a more realistic my career Anna Thunderdome included would be fantastic also I agree with you customising the controls far easier for disabled gamers as I am one myself as my name suggest
My Predictions are - Stacked NXT and Legends Roster - New Stage Templates for Create an Arena - New Attires and Hair Styles for Create a Superstar - MyGM - MyStory - Repackaged Universe Mode with Drafts
I hope they change up Universe Mode some more. One of my favorites of wwe of all time. We just need some Updates and hopefully we can just unlock wrestlers, arenas, championship titles and even New/Old Match Types. Unlock All of those Under Universe, instead of buying them. That's how I used to love unlocking everything!
I hope that there is an option in “Venue Size” that you can choose the Thunderdome. Then, in “Crowd Type,” you can select “Virtual Fans” so you can have a mix between the thunderdome with actual fans, or an actual arena with Thunderdome screens
They should allow us to create our own fantasy COVID arenas. Like what if the Pandemic happened during the Ruthless Aggression era? Fist stage with Virtual fans.
Bring back special referee. I never got tired of watching my favorite wrestlers be in a match that was decided by my decision. I was never a fair ref 😂
I'd love to see it too but it probably won't happen. They usually try to imitate the current product and they don't do Championship scrambles anymore so
I’d like to see a more interactive Universe/GM mode that’s gives a full show experience, as well as a match/card history so you don’t forget what matches have happened.
I want more realistic in-game animations. As in more often used fatigued animations, more reversal options (like if u time it right, reverse opponent finisher into u own if it could work), alternative finisher animations depending on scenario, more pin animations

@@SCSAsJorts ya 2k19 was one of the best games i have played gameplay and graphics wise 2k20 was ok but there was so many glitches and graphics got a lil worse gameplay was weird and the character targeting a lot of it was bad but there was a few things ok about it
I want a better my career mode (one that feels real, grinding all the way from indies to the HoF, but without the shenanigans of 2k20’s), more customisation options (cosmetics specifically), special guest referee!
I feel like if they do a female and male career mode , they should have them separate with their own story if they do a story , it would offer replay-ability
GM mode seems like the biggest prediction, but if 2K decides to never bring it back then I would love it if they could at least integrate in a draft feature so that it'll be easier to shuffle superstars around. Better AI and improved ring and weapon physics would be great too!
If Lumis is in WWE2K22 I want an alternate entrance motion where he paints/draws his opponent then the alt. victory animation is him drawing/painting him putting his opponent in his finisher also I REALLY want Spotify Integration
I hope they give Universe mode more updates and more new things! Like more promo’s with sounds from the superstar. More cutscenes etc! New type of promo like a “open challenge”. Enough to think of! If that is not the case I hope they bring as a replacement the GM mode. But remember IT HITS DIFFERENT.🔥
Doesn't anyone want this game to actually hit different? Because all the moves looking weak has been a problem for a long time. Smackdown SYM and Smackdown HCTP had more impact and was slightly faster paced without being too fast.
they should make where if your in a rivaly with the miz in universe mode that you can be on miz tv and also we need to where a title if were doing a promo and at least have a myplayer voice like nba 2k does for universe mode and they need to bring back attitude era showcase back
I miss MyCareer from 2k15 tbf... It was really good game with WWE Universe and MyCareer Also they should do something look back at WWE Universe from SVR 2011 or WWE 12' - they had a lot of fun making a lot of storylines and match types
Instead of a cartoony my career mode, they should have the fantasy elements be in its own separate mode, akin to the old season mode/road to WrestleMania in the thq games (maybe bring back road to WrestleMania?), and have my career strictly be a career mode for the player
Say what you will about the past year, but the ThunderDome is now apart of WWE history. I’d say it’s arguably as important as the Manhattan Center. We have to have it in 2K22
If create arena was more interactive this year, we could make our own match types. Let us build stuff and make all objects like the ambulance interactable
My Predictions: MyPark Hub for MyCareer More Parts for Championships, Arena and Wrestler Creation. Create a Move, Comeback and Taunt. GM Mode. Cross-Platform Play between consoles and PC. Logo Creation. Optional Voice for MyCareer Superstar (either your own or pre-set). Change the Control Scheme back from 2k19. More Names added on Create a Wrestler/Superstar. Change the Hair and Beard style and color from in-game Superstar like Finn Balor and Roman Reigns. Crowds behavior depending location (example: Japanese crowd will clap for the superstar(s) as a sign of respect and admiration). Interactive Thunderdome Arena (You can invite or create a server in the game for players to see your match, either on Exhibition, Universe and/or Online Matches). Create a Entrance Video (allows you to make graphics for a certain superstar, stable or show, like a Titantron Graphic video and/or an LED Ramp and Apron Graphics for superstars and stables or shows and PPVs. Speaking of Graphics: Export a Video (you can export a Entrance Video from a UA-cam channel for a wrestler or an Graphic Animation from a Show for the Game on the WWE2K site). The soundtrack will include musical artists from around the world (Like Bad Bunny (Puerto Rico), Morgenshtern (Russia), Lil Nas X (USA), KSI (UK) and more).
I also hope that superstars have their own pose like in 2k18 when selecting who you want to play as instead of the generic stance theyve had since 2k19
My predictions are 30 years of the undertaker, more and returning legends, playable old school royal rumble arenas like WWE 13, an when playing in old school arenas we get old school commentary and modern arenas we get the same like before.
Lmfao that will never happen, it's 2k. It doesn't matter what 2k says, they'll continue to create trash and continue taking out features a lot of fans loved from older games.
All good predictions. Everytime GM Mode comes up I worry because I love the freedom Universe Mode gives & GM was very restrictive in comparison. I still prefer adding elements of GM Mode to Universe in a way that wouldn't take away from the creative freedom.
Heres my more realistic predictions 1. No gm mode 2. No thunder dome 3. More glitches 4.better graphics 5. Same game 6. Another horrible career mode . 7. No new match types 8. You idiots will buy it 9. The roster is full of jabroni’s 10. “More maybe next year’s“

Stop hoping cuz whatever you want in the game is not gonna be in it. Just get whichever past wrestling game you enjoy the most and download and or create mods for it.
I hope to god they do something with Create An Arena because it’s had nothing new since 2K18. I really want more stage parts, graphics, stadium types, pre-set ring aprons and others
That I Agree man. I love Universe Mode that's it but Bringing back Road To Wrestle mania would feel like the old days of New Mercy N64 & Able to Unlock From Wrestlers, Championship Titles, Arenas to Unlocking New/Old Match Types.
One thing I'd like 2k to try, inferno match. But it's the updated pandemic version where you set someone on fire. Sure it may sound a bit too violent for the rating but you could do it like last gen have the model flail around as someone puts them out.
These videos are always fun to listen too. I'm just happy the game physics are gonna be back to normal. After all this timr,I'm pretty sure it will be a solid game.
I have a feeling buried alive matches might return this year as I think their might be a focus on the undertaker due to his retirement, that or he will be the cover of the legend edition
I think Rey might be the cover for a special edition of the game, for example when the WWE 2K18 Cena NUFF Edition and the WWE 2K19 WOOO! Edition, maybe a possible WWE 2K21: 619 Edition👀
I just hope that the surprise roll up and the dirty pins aren’t as bad as they are in every other 2K game. You have to hit more finishers to win with a surprise roll up or a dirty pin than you do with a normal pin. It’s cool to see the 1 animation that plays (there isn’t even a title animation for the roll up, your opponent just collapses to the ground for your chosen title victory motion), but it’s so difficult.
@@amanteheru8572 I disagree, the reason WWE2K20 was so bad is Yukes left midway through production and 2K had to start all over again, so I think WWE2K22 will be better

@@jordanperdomo3975 well imo... With the new Controls, reversing is easier than before. And doing a OMG or Finishiner is better to choose with that, because when I tried to do a Finisher in the Corner... It mostly did the Omg Outside Superplex in Wwe 2k19.
I like how everyone wanted create a finisher back and then on the most wanted list its not even in top most wanted I just hope they can have it still in the game
At least for us women’s wrestling fans, the massive amount of superstars released, hopefully this means we will get more female Legends and Alumni. Such as getting Jacqueline, Alundra Blayze and Ivory back and adding Torrie Wilson (HOF), Victoria (Alum), Melina, Candice Michelle & Kelly Kelly (these three were at the most recent legends and alumni events and would fill up space. Also, this could potentially mean they’ll leave in, HOPEFULLY, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Chelsea Green, Ruby Riott, Lana & even Zelina Vega to fill up spots to make sure they have the biggest roster to date! They can also include other female legends, such as Luna Vachon!
1 )We need #1 contenders match in which we should be able to select for which title it's going for . 2) Referees should be present in steel cage matches . 3) After winning Royal rumble in universe mode it should be added a new option to choose the championship they are going in following weeks and a following cutscenes. 4) Survivor series build up should be given as an option for the player to create as in the real life it happens and each shows announcing their teams should be interesting . 5) Royal rumble entrances should be given a new camera angle and commentary such that if it's a returning superstar there should be a pop and the commentary should make it lit on the mic And also ability to go out of the ring in Royal rumble should be added 6) New money in the bank cash in options and cutscenes should be added. Don't know if i'm the only one (i mean chances are i'm not but still) but i'd love to see a continuation of the more story based Mycareers rather than the simulator mycareers like we got in 2k15 to 2k18. Whilst i agree that having the Mycareer follow a set story isn't actually your own career, i find it far better than the Mycareer mode that was essentially just universe mode where you play as one person. I did like the rivalry and promo (with Renee and a voice actor) system 2k16 had but even that got old pretty quickly. Maybe in a perfect world, there would be a mix of the two but i'd choose set story + voice acting (even if a lot of it was pretty cringey) over basic universe mode.
the one thing i wish for is actually a simple thing but have big impact. the superstar voice during the match. i mean, they have aleready did it in the backstage brawl, why not apply it on normal match. it will make the game more realistic feel

This no doubt will be an impressive roster seeing as they have two new machines, one in Europe, and one being traded between the PC and Thunderdome. All a matter of who showed up and has a deal to be scanned. Shame it wont have like 30+ guys from 2k20. But the new talent should suffice.
I’m hoping we get _ A stacked Legends roster _ GM Mode _ New and better templates for Create An Arena and Create A Championship _ New match types like Inferno, War Games (both NXT and WCW versions), Punjabi Prison, Special Ref, Ambulance, Buried Alive, Bar room Brawl, both versions of Elimination Chamber etc etc _ More Arenas and logos _ Improved Create A Logo and be able to upload a picture from online _ Improved Create A Match type, like for example you could put tables and kendo sticks in the Punjabi Prison. _ And OMG moments like RKO or Spear someone of the Ladder and Hell In A Cell, be able to throw weapons, be able to climb stages and titantrons etc etc. If we get most of that then I would actually be happy playing a wrestling game again.
I predict..........a big dissapointment. Stock up on those 2K19 CAWs while the servers are still live, coz you gonna need them. 2K20 was so bad, that it will have taken Virtual Concepts 2 years just to figure out how to develop a game after Yukes leaving them, meaning little improvements. I for one will never pre order again.
Exactly. Imo the best thing to do is get whichever wrestling game is your favorite and just download mods for it since 2k can't create a good wrestling game for shit.

I would like WWE 2K22 to be a polished product( realistic video game ) when it's released .. it should be loaded with features, etc.
I wish the reversal system was more of a challenge like the older games.
I enjoy a challenge, but just don’t make it completely impossible to reverse like 2K18.

Universe Mode is my all time Favorite. Adding new things in the mode would help a lot and able to change the Length of the Rivalry as well!!

One of the things I think prevented Special Referee is the pin system. It's based on counts, and if you fast count it could be impossible to kick out

My predictions are 30 years of the undertaker, more and returning legends, playable old school royal rumble arenas like WWE 13, an when playing in old school arenas we get old school commentary and modern arenas we get the same like before.

All good predictions. Everytime GM Mode comes up I worry because I love the freedom Universe Mode gives & GM was very restrictive in comparison. I still prefer adding elements of GM Mode to Universe in a way that wouldn't take away from the creative freedom.

That I Agree man. I love Universe Mode that's it but Bringing back Road To Wrestle mania would feel like the old days of New Mercy N64 & Able to Unlock From Wrestlers, Championship Titles, Arenas to Unlocking New/Old Match Types.

One thing I'd like 2k to try, inferno match. But it's the updated pandemic version where you set someone on fire. Sure it may sound a bit too violent for the rating but you could do it like last gen have the model flail around as someone puts them out.

I just hope that the surprise roll up and the dirty pins aren’t as bad as they are in every other 2K game. You have to hit more finishers to win with a surprise roll up or a dirty pin than you do with a normal pin. It’s cool to see the 1 animation that plays (there isn’t even a title animation for the roll up, your opponent just collapses to the ground for your chosen title victory motion), but it’s so difficult.

@@jordanperdomo3975 well imo... With the new Controls, reversing is easier than before. And doing a OMG or Finishiner is better to choose with that, because when I tried to do a Finisher in the Corner... It mostly did the Omg Outside Superplex in Wwe 2k19.
I like how everyone wanted create a finisher back and then on the most wanted list its not even in top most wanted I just hope they can have it still in the game

At least for us women’s wrestling fans, the massive amount of superstars released, hopefully this means we will get more female Legends and Alumni. Such as getting Jacqueline, Alundra Blayze and Ivory back and adding Torrie Wilson (HOF), Victoria (Alum), Melina, Candice Michelle & Kelly Kelly (these three were at the most recent legends and alumni events and would fill up space. Also, this could potentially mean they’ll leave in, HOPEFULLY, Mickie James, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, Chelsea Green, Ruby Riott, Lana & even Zelina Vega to fill up spots to make sure they have the biggest roster to date! They can also include other female legends, such as Luna Vachon!
1 )We need #1 contenders match in which we should be able to select for which title it's going for .
2) Referees should be present in steel cage matches .
3) After winning Royal rumble in universe mode it should be added a new option to choose the championship they are going in following weeks and a following cutscenes.
4) Survivor series build up should be given as an option for the player to create as in the real life it happens and each shows announcing their teams should be interesting .
5) Royal rumble entrances should be given a new camera angle and commentary such that if it's a returning superstar there should be a pop and the commentary should make it lit on the mic
And also ability to go out of the ring in Royal rumble should be added
6) New money in the bank cash in options and cutscenes should be added.

Don't know if i'm the only one (i mean chances are i'm not but still) but i'd love to see a continuation of the more story based Mycareers rather than the simulator mycareers like we got in 2k15 to 2k18. Whilst i agree that having the Mycareer follow a set story isn't actually your own career, i find it far better than the Mycareer mode that was essentially just universe mode where you play as one person. I did like the rivalry and promo (with Renee and a voice actor) system 2k16 had but even that got old pretty quickly. Maybe in a perfect world, there would be a mix of the two but i'd choose set story + voice acting (even if a lot of it was pretty cringey) over basic universe mode.
the one thing i wish for is actually a simple thing but have big impact. the superstar voice during the match. i mean, they have aleready did it in the backstage brawl, why not apply it on normal match. it will make the game more realistic feel

This no doubt will be an impressive roster seeing as they have two new machines, one in Europe, and one being traded between the PC and Thunderdome. All a matter of who showed up and has a deal to be scanned. Shame it wont have like 30+ guys from 2k20. But the new talent should suffice.

_ Improved Create A Logo and be able to upload a picture from online
_ Improved Create A Match type, like for example you could put tables and kendo sticks in the Punjabi Prison.
_ And OMG moments like RKO or Spear someone of the Ladder and Hell In A Cell, be able to throw weapons, be able to climb stages and titantrons etc etc.
If we get most of that then I would actually be happy playing a wrestling game again.
I predict..........a big dissapointment. Stock up on those 2K19 CAWs while the servers are still live, coz you gonna need them. 2K20 was so bad, that it will have taken Virtual Concepts 2 years just to figure out how to develop a game after Yukes leaving them, meaning little improvements. I for one will never pre order again.
