Suggestion: An option to shorten or lengthen hairstyles like we had back in the day for creation. Being able to change the hairline/front hair would be useful also. I can't enumerate the times I found a hairstyle that was either too long or too short, or a style the was perfect in the back but the hairline was off. An example would be a ponytail without bangs when I'm looking for a ponytail with bangs. Being able to switch up parts would go a long way and make it less of a hassle.
Although wasn’t included in 2K20, I thought of a cool idea based off of the weapon customization feature, I would like to see more variations of certain match types like for example, if we get a casket match, we should get an option to make it either a different sized casket or even make it a dumpster match. Another good one is the ambulance match and transformation it into a last ride match.
They're awful. "Tre" is treated like a fuckin joke all the way through and made to look bad because gotta get over Red, and Reds character is "hangs with Tre" and "is mad". they're boring, the stories are awful, and its embarrassing to play.

I really hope they get rid of that "auto placement" feature with the ladder and table. It's *sooooo* frustrating trying to prop up a table near the corner or a ladder near the ropes and your character just spins around in circles trying to find the correct placement. Just go back to how it was before and let us place the ladder/table exactly where we want it.

They're gonna need to add a few more legends and NXT stars in the game. Perhaps even multiple versions of specific top stars/legends. Otherwise, the roster will be too small.
The mixed tag moves definitely need to be expanded upon. They could incorporate it to doing moves like the Super Collider where you can use the opponents as a weapon against each other or have The Brothers of Destructions side by side double Chokeslam. Another feature that I think is massively underappreciated is the alternate button. The reason for why it's underappreciated is fair since it replaced the reversal button and they complicated the control scheme. But I think that it was a really good idea and could be built upon. Allowing for multiple finishers. You could build to be able to have 3 or 4 finishers. It made running and corner Vs ground finishers easier to perform. Plus people can do even more moves.

They do have that actually, well technically they do. If you perform a Sweet Chin Music whilst on the bare minimum stamina to perform the move, Shawn just falls over out of exhaustion instead of going for the pin, (He does just get straight back up after like three seconds which is a bit frustrating but it’s good nonetheless). There’s also the same thing for other finishers, or any grapple I believe, that when performed in the bare minimum stamina needed, the performer just collapses and you crawl over to the opponents body and weakly drape a single arm over them for the pin. Genuinely makes for some good fantasy match finishes if they can be pulled off

If leg is injured then superstar won't be able to run, if he do he will drop on his knee, if arm is injured then it will wrestle carrying injured arm. SVR 2010 was also basic. They tried to do few things down the road to add simulation but let's hope it they add full fledge gameplay based on it

The roster was pretty good too, returning legends who haven’t been in a wwe2k (or wwe) game in general in years like hogan, chyna, and x-pac. Great debuts like Keith lee, Rhea ripley, Humberto carillo and more. Even some faces missing from 2k19 like Tommaso ciampa, Nikki cross and Buddy Murphy
One simple feature I'd like in game based off of something like the hair dye option in caw mode. Adding in like a clipper feature, say you like one hairstyle but it has a bun or a ponytail you don't want, have the circle option like the hair dye and each adjustment in size is the level of clip so max cuts the ponytail completely default would be like to give a shave or buzzed effect to hair. It'd allow for more creativity but still within the confines of the options we have already.
On the WWE 2k22 MyCareer Mode they need to let us choose whether we want to play a male or female instead of playing both they should also let us walk around backstage like talk to people like ask them for a match or a title shot and I think they should put a different backstage instead of using the same one
I want an improved Universe mode, like bring back create your own storyline, and have new things like triple threat rivalries, fatal four way rivalries (same thing implies to tag teams too). I also want separate MyCareers, cause 2k20s MyCareer was absolute garbage, they made the male character just look like a complete loser while the female character got the spotlight, just make 2 separate MyCareers one for a female character and one for a male character

I think you forgot the most important feature that 2K got right and that was the weapon wheel being added to every match type. I think that was the best feature especially when used in Hell in a Cell matches and being able to involve a table.
Denkops is OBSESSED with Special Guest Referee matches. Imagine this: If I was to go up against Denkops in a real-life wrestling match (which, by the way, I've just literally started learning to do so during lockdown), then Denkops would like to have our match a Special Guest Referee match with his choice of the special guest referee being either his best mate, BrandonDoesEverything, or one of his mates from newLEGACYinc.
Tre was soooo unlikeable, I stopped playing MyCareer (and 2K20 in general in December of 2019) They should have brought Buzz back but I doubt he could have saved the shitty story
Just like how in create arena you can pick what pattern or movie for the stage header wall minitron titontron etc in create entrance that should be an option be able to pick a pattern or whatever for the stage during entrance etc. Or maybe have the create arena patterns in create an entrance or in create entrance have its own patterns.
I think the Career Mode should be split into 2 parts, MyCareer and MySuperstarCareer. The MyCareer would be where you make your person and go through a more 2K20 story experience. But the MySuperstarCareer is for people who liked Road to Wrestlemania, in it you can make a person or chose from the roster and the stories would be more realistic. What do you guys think?
Or like we had in Svr 2011, in road to wrestlemania there were 4 stories with WWE superstars and one of them you could choose a character (in this case create one)
Use of people under Legends contract like X-pac was great in My Player. I also liked the Undertaker arch with Papa Shingo, etc. But that mode was weighed down by poor loading times. It was also generally drawn out too long, particularly by Hall of Fame speech recaps. And the choice to have Red beat by MMA fighter at every turn was tone deaf and Tre losing titles was reminiscent of the final Road to WrestleMania in WWE '12 were you constantly beat an opponent down to red, and press A when you were prompted to, only to be treated to it cutscene of Jacob Cass taking a showstopper and losing the match. Some in the community dubbed that poor story design as "Press 'A' to lose to Big Show. "
I actually hope they keep the newer control system, or at least have an option to choose between that and the older control scheme. It just worked better than the old one to me.
First thing they have to do is fix the gameplay. In my player and the DLC it felt just as the prompt says: beat your opponent to yellow then red health. Even outside of those modes it still felt the same. It's like ZZ top once they got on the metronome after adding synths. Even when they ditched all the synthesizers, they still felt like they were using a click track. Without some fun simple gameplay and a intuitive control scheme, every mode, which is built on top of the basic in ring gameplay is doomed.
The ability to start Backstage Brawl matches from a different area would be underrated. Instead of always starting in that hallway, you could already be in the parking lot, already in catering or already in the locker room.
Hopefully they bring back a lot of match types and I want to play a Royal Rumble match or a Elimination Chamber match with any arena when doing exhibition matches and in universe mode too

Do you guys think they’ll fix the minor stuff in 2k22? Examples: When you’re done selecting your superstars and arenas in 2k19 and clicked start the match, each arena had an intro before it went to the loading screen. It doesn’t do that in 2k20. When you got a hot tag in 2k19, you got a buff and everytime you struck your opponent they fumbled and got up quick so you could hit them again. That’s also not in 2k20.
For Weapons i agree with Variations of the Ladder like have a silver/grey one or a Black one the NXT one the Orange one from Shawn vs Razor and Yellow one from HHH vs Rock And classic Weapons used in Hardcore matches like the Bowling Ball or holiday themed stuff from those many matches And maybe make a Fun Time USA style area to fight in
I’d honestly love to see 2k add in the ability to preform in ring springboard finishers maybe using the same mechanics as downed opponent corner finishers it would be really useful for custom superstars like will ospreay or lio rush
Better physics would be nice also new models would be nice same with a new Sting. Also Smacktalks it was 2K17 with the dream match scenario since 2K16 had the great showcase of Austin 3:16
Bring back the old school ECW stage and have it like SVR 07/08 dont remember where you could grab items from fans, or even have them toss things in the ring, it atleast changes your environment from a regular match
Missed out on one very good feature that was added aswell in Univers mode. Where you could add title matches in the match table. So you could increase title matches chances for raw or smackdown or whatever fun univers you play. feels so much better to have some titles matches from time to time then just go to ppv to ppv.
Things they *nearly* got right. Why did they think it's ok to have a lollypop at ringside but not a trash can. There's so many good ideas that just totally miss the mark.
Because a simple asset swap was a million times easier to implement than an entirely new asset with different useage and collision. The lollipops and stuff were just easy, last minute additions. What you're asking takes work, and whether or not they can do that depends on what they allocate their deveopment time towards, as they can't do everything.

I feel quite sympathetic towards the developers in relation to 2k20, but they also put a lot of time into silly stuff like 2k originals which just doesn't mean anything to me personally when they can't get some more classic wrestling things right. I'm really really hoping the cancellation of 2k21 has given them time to not only fix the game but add new features the series very much needs, or else it really won't hit different.
honestly besides the glitches and crashes the game wasn’t that bad like some of the features were dope some models did look good and the customization was pretty cool so I hope 2k22 has better stuff
I didn't mind the original showcases to be honest.. However the only critique I personally had for it: is that I wished that I could take my CACs through the showcase mode.
It'd be cool if they added something like they did in NBA2K. For the MyPlayer mode you could explore the Performance Center and practice with other real players. Maybe like if you go to the gym and work out a bit in the PC then you can boost your strength and stamina a little bit quicker. Depending on where you are in the story you could be backstage at Raw and explore backstage like WWE 2K18.
I like how the lobby for online matches were set up, but they should go deeper into creating the matches like the rules and entrances. That's what 19 missed.

No it won't. Rosters don't matter. Hell, hardly anyone even cares about or even uses the new WWE wrestlers anymore. Less and less people care about the WWE and wrestling today. All they really want is a wrestling simulator. That's why the only thing anyone ever does with this is make new wrestlers and imitate existing companies aside from WWE or make up their own. WWE today is bad, and most of their wrestlers today are bad, so no one cares about the roster, anymore.
For the MITB objects idea, they could bring back the OG case! It would be cool for that to happen. I would like an Eddie Guerrero showcase or one for Taker (way more likely)

SVR 2007 will always be my favourite. Every other game after that has not come close. That's my personal opinion. Not counting wwf but it was peak wwe with Batista and Cena in their prime also Triple H and also the last game that had Chris Benoit. The soundtrack was also great. I loved it and I don't think they will ever make a better game. There may be better graphics but the overall game? I don't think so
The best way to improve the game, is to simply add a competitive online rank mode. No modified characters, or boosting. Also create your regular social mode where you can play with created modified characters and such. Also implement a leader board. The game will explode

I despised 2K originals. No new roster members with NXT roster like usual for like 20-30 people already in the game with different attires that DIDNT really add value was a bad move.

Imagine this: If I was to go up against Denkops in a real-life wrestling match (which, by the way, I've just literally started learning to do so during lockdown), then Denkops would like to have our match a Special Guest Referee match with his choice of the special guest referee being either his best mate, BrandonDoesEverything, or one of his mates from newLEGACYinc.

Just like how in create arena you can pick what pattern or movie for the stage header wall minitron titontron etc in create entrance that should be an option be able to pick a pattern or whatever for the stage during entrance etc. Or maybe have the create arena patterns in create an entrance or in create entrance have its own patterns.

I didn't like the MyCareer a lot but I still use Von Braun, El Mago Jr, and Cole Quinn in UM.
Mycareer sucked but i did enjoy that it showed the indys and the option for different paths! I
I think the Career Mode should be split into 2 parts, MyCareer and MySuperstarCareer. The MyCareer would be where you make your person and go through a more 2K20 story experience. But the MySuperstarCareer is for people who liked Road to Wrestlemania, in it you can make a person or chose from the roster and the stories would be more realistic. What do you guys think?
Or like we had in Svr 2011, in road to wrestlemania there were 4 stories with WWE superstars and one of them you could choose a character (in this case create one)

Use of people under Legends contract like X-pac was great in My Player. I also liked the Undertaker arch with Papa Shingo, etc. But that mode was weighed down by poor loading times. It was also generally drawn out too long, particularly by Hall of Fame speech recaps. And the choice to have Red beat by MMA fighter at every turn was tone deaf and Tre losing titles was reminiscent of the final Road to WrestleMania in WWE '12 were you constantly beat an opponent down to red, and press A when you were prompted to, only to be treated to it cutscene of Jacob Cass taking a showstopper and losing the match. Some in the community dubbed that poor story design as "Press 'A' to lose to Big Show. "
I actually hope they keep the newer control system, or at least have an option to choose between that and the older control scheme. It just worked better than the old one to me.

First thing they have to do is fix the gameplay. In my player and the DLC it felt just as the prompt says: beat your opponent to yellow then red health. Even outside of those modes it still felt the same. It's like ZZ top once they got on the metronome after adding synths. Even when they ditched all the synthesizers, they still felt like they were using a click track. Without some fun simple gameplay and a intuitive control scheme, every mode, which is built on top of the basic in ring gameplay is doomed.
The ability to start Backstage Brawl matches from a different area would be underrated. Instead of always starting in that hallway, you could already be in the parking lot, already in catering or already in the locker room.
One thing you didn't mention are the assisted controls. I would like to see it expanded and improved in 2K22

Hopefully they bring back a lot of match types and I want to play a Royal Rumble match or a Elimination Chamber match with any arena when doing exhibition matches and in universe mode too

Do you guys think they’ll fix the minor stuff in 2k22?
Examples:
When you’re done selecting your superstars and arenas in 2k19 and clicked start the match, each arena had an intro before it went to the loading screen. It doesn’t do that in 2k20.
When you got a hot tag in 2k19, you got a buff and everytime you struck your opponent they fumbled and got up quick so you could hit them again. That’s also not in 2k20.
And the MITB cash in cutscenes
For Weapons i agree with Variations of the Ladder like have a silver/grey one or a Black one the NXT one the Orange one from Shawn vs Razor and Yellow one from HHH vs Rock
And classic Weapons used in Hardcore matches like the Bowling Ball or holiday themed stuff from those many matches
And maybe make a Fun Time USA style area to fight in
I’d honestly love to see 2k add in the ability to preform in ring springboard finishers maybe using the same mechanics as downed opponent corner finishers it would be really useful for custom superstars like will ospreay or lio rush
Better physics would be nice also new models would be nice same with a new Sting. Also Smacktalks it was 2K17 with the dream match scenario since 2K16 had the great showcase of Austin 3:16

Missed out on one very good feature that was added aswell in Univers mode. Where you could add title matches in the match table. So you could increase title matches chances for raw or smackdown or whatever fun univers you play. feels so much better to have some titles matches from time to time then just go to ppv to ppv.

Things they *nearly* got right. Why did they think it's ok to have a lollypop at ringside but not a trash can. There's so many good ideas that just totally miss the mark.
Because a simple asset swap was a million times easier to implement than an entirely new asset with different useage and collision. The lollipops and stuff were just easy, last minute additions. What you're asking takes work, and whether or not they can do that depends on what they allocate their deveopment time towards, as they can't do everything.

I feel quite sympathetic towards the developers in relation to 2k20, but they also put a lot of time into silly stuff like 2k originals which just doesn't mean anything to me personally when they can't get some more classic wrestling things right. I'm really really hoping the cancellation of 2k21 has given them time to not only fix the game but add new features the series very much needs, or else it really won't hit different.

honestly besides the glitches and crashes the game wasn’t that bad like some of the features were dope some models did look good and the customization was pretty cool so I hope 2k22 has better stuff

I didn't mind the original showcases to be honest.. However the only critique I personally had for it: is that I wished that I could take my CACs through the showcase mode.
It'd be cool if they added something like they did in NBA2K. For the MyPlayer mode you could explore the Performance Center and practice with other real players. Maybe like if you go to the gym and work out a bit in the PC then you can boost your strength and stamina a little bit quicker. Depending on where you are in the story you could be backstage at Raw and explore backstage like WWE 2K18.
I like how the lobby for online matches were set up, but they should go deeper into creating the matches like the rules and entrances. That's what 19 missed.
Add in the indy arenas to the templates in CAA

Hell, hardly anyone even cares about or even uses the new WWE wrestlers anymore. Less and less people care about the WWE and wrestling today. All they really want is a wrestling simulator. That's why the only thing anyone ever does with this is make new wrestlers and imitate existing companies aside from WWE or make up their own.
WWE today is bad, and most of their wrestlers today are bad, so no one cares about the roster, anymore.

SVR 2007 will always be my favourite. Every other game after that has not come close. That's my personal opinion. Not counting wwf but it was peak wwe with Batista and Cena in their prime also Triple H and also the last game that had Chris Benoit. The soundtrack was also great. I loved it and I don't think they will ever make a better game. There may be better graphics but the overall game? I don't think so
The best way to improve the game, is to simply add a competitive online rank mode. No modified characters, or boosting. Also create your regular social mode where you can play with created modified characters and such. Also implement a leader board. The game will explode
Honestly, the only thing I think they got right was being able to add a 3rd show to the ppvs in universe mode. As someone who uses that mode more, I'd like to see improvements there.

I would like to see the opening Sequence like when you was playing smackdown versus raw 2006 before you even get into gameplay we had the opening raw or smackdown Intro video like WWE programming but at random which was cool anyway, but I would like to have a choice this time to see the SmackDown or Raw opening by the players choice.
and if I could add that the raw opening intro Should be legendary by skillet And the SmackDown should be AC/DC song And when they update the introduction video as they do in WWE they should add that one in the game as well and only hear it if the players choose to do so so if they was to remove the legendary by skillet song in the game then I am going to be angry
