Sir, I am 17 year old boy, my vocal low note is G2 and high note is A4 from 5 minutes of singing Michael Jackson sir’s song named “you are not alone” . Sir, I tried in female voice too it’s vocal range was from [C4 to C5 and above to A5 [ I could hit A5 sound note by saying Michael Jackson songs like earth song ‘’’’hoo”” which Michael Jackson sings at last 30 seconds of his earth song. You are a baritone if you sang classical music. For pop music the categories are not necessary. What will help you is to avoid comparing your singing to the top singers in the world. You are just beginning - Michael Jackson was at the absolute top of his game when he recorded those songs. Give yourself time!
Hello Sir!! First of all I want to say that you are indeed amazing and I do appreciate all the work you put into this and the goodwill of trying to help voices out there. I do havea question and I would be so grateful if you would take the time to answer... I had a cyst surgery removal a few years ago and as I came back to singing almost everynight I feel like I am losing my voice all over again. I watch all of your advices and exercises but how do I know which one is the best one. Could you please let me know ? Thank you a lot !! Drop the link in the comment. Thank you~~~~
I can not let you know which is the best exercise for you personally without knowing your history and behavior. A cyst is not usually due to bad vocal behavior but it can create bad behavior as we compensate around it. There are too many factors for me to guess about your situation - so I will simply suggest that you should be working with a professional to guide you. I will also suggest that you reduce the volume when you exercise your voice and allow the sound to be less than desired (cracking, cutting out) rather than force a better sound. It's OK to sound bad (that's temporary) but it's not OK to feel bad when singing.
@@voicelessondotcom I can't believe you responded. Thank you a lot. I found hope when you said that we shouldn't fear voice loss. I will continue to exercise and thank you a lot~~~♡
Hi Mark! I love your exercises. I've noticed that my lower register is a bit rusty these days due to lack of practice. It's never been my strong suit. And it usually gets worse after a little bit of singing/hitting high notes. Do you have any tips/videos on strengthening the lower register? Thank you!
It's vital that we provide an appropriate resonator for every pitch - or else they we not ring at their best. Often when singing high we remain in a high resonator position and ask low notes to thrive in there. They say no! A slight fry before singing a low note will remind your brain to reset the vocal tract to accommodate the resonance of a low note: ua-cam.com/video/FVGinJrXGnw/v-deo.html
No tips - because nodules means a complete reboot is needed. First step is to make sure you have them - get a diagnosis from a doctor. How big? How old? Surgery? Next step is to learn how to back off those high notes: ua-cam.com/video/ySgg2YUDGH4/v-deo.html
yoo mark, male singer here, when my voice transitions from my low voice to high voice there is some glitches. Im sure practicing this will help, any others you recommend in particular to build that blending point?

It's common to want to physically feel what you're doing to sing but it usually creates too much force to do so. To reset your perception - use a loudness meter (sound pressure level meter app for phone) and challenge yourself to create the lowest volumes possible. Watch this: ua-cam.com/video/ymb8-pHVap0/v-deo.html
Hi Mark, I have an odd question. Many a times I feel like burping in the middle of singing. What do I do in that situation? It happens quite a lot and is bothering me. So I thought of asking you. I observed that it happens anytime, irrespective of whether I have just taken a meal or not. Could you help me out, are there any precautions to avoid it? It is not even burping exactly. It is a collection of air that gets accumulated only when I am singing, and wants to let itself out. (It is a different experience than burp, as my singing causes it to happen).
