Yeah. If I knew someone that was colorblind and I got them these glasses I wouldn't even tell them what they are, I would just say I got you these cheap pair of sunglasses put them on and tell me what you think. lol

Simply handing someone the glasses like normal sunglasses would kinda counteract these instructions. Even if most people clearly don't care about the instructions given, the inventors of these glasses sure had a reason to give them in the first place.
The best one of these Enchroma videos I saw was when someone put them on thinking they were regular sunglasses. The look on the guy's face was priceless.
Every time these people put the glasses on, they aren't allowed even a moment to take in. The people around them start interrogating them like the KGB on steroids! Drives me insane. "What do you see? What color is this? Can you see that? What color are my eyes? What are you thinking? What does this look like?" They don't know what they're looking at when they first put the glasses on. My God, shut the hell up for a second and let them have the experience!!!

Agreed. Enchroma should put another big "read me FIRST" note that instructs friends and family to please allow the person to experience this for several minutes withOUT saying anything unless they prompt them.
I know right. it’s as if humans are social creatures who try to nurture people and keep them from going into shock when they experience something new. Fuck those families, excitement and their weird curiosity that they found an aid to help their handicapped love one live a better quality of life!

Dallas Kennedy next birthday, noise cancelling headphones 😂😂 That video was a couple of years ago, how’s it going now? What I mean is, now he knows what he was missing most of his life, does he wear the colour glasses regularly, or has he gone back to seeing the world in shades of brown?
KeithGadget he actually still wears them pretty regularly. Whenever he drives he wears them. He also mentioned that it was almost like a switch went off in his brain and he can start to recognize and see more colors without the glasses. Very interesting and amazing.

I've watched several of these videos and I see the amazement of the initial reaction but a few people said they felt dizzy or their eyes "hurt". It must be a bit overwhelming. I wonder if children start wearing them when they are very young it might be easier to adjust.

During our family reunion, my sister's husband did a stand-up comedy show, with a few risky jokes. We always make fun of him because of the not appropraite jokes he did.
My eyes are big from that big house and yard. That type of place would be multi million dollars. Unless you guys are way out country somewhere. Plus the whole family all together getting along? Must be the twilight zone. The 'Dad' seeing colors was all WOW all the time, definitely he's happy and definitely its better. Presentation could have been a bit better thought out though. With flowers and balloons and that guy who came in late (another Dad) it seemed sad he missed the initial part, but then he just patted the dog and didn't seem to care too much about seeing the WHOLE family there outside on a sunny bright colorful day. I give the vid 8 out of 10 because whatever happened its the COLOR that makes everything good.
Yeah we didn’t plan it to well! We should have had balloons and other things laid out for him. We live out on the Mississippi on the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin.
