      I'm sure it'll BLOW YOUR MIND completely. I've checked some colorblind filters and deutan and protan see almost no red tones. When he says thatnis so RED he means your yellow or blue, but red. VERY distinct.

      Months before i got him the glasses we heard about Enchroma and checked out the site. They have a test there. Told us he's Mild Protan. He thought he'd have to by the glasses himself so I thought it would be a good surprise from friends and family. ha So were know what he had. Crazy seeing what he couldn't see on that test.

    • @pauldelgadillo1827
      @pauldelgadillo1827 6 років тому

      The red leafed tree in front of the house is a Japanese Maple. I've seen lots of them here in Southern Califonria as well and it's due to the fact that the leaves are bright red in contrast to the different variations of green one normally sees. It's mid Spring time and there are some trees growing called Jacaradnas around here all showing off their deep purple flowers. I really would love to visit Vancouver, BC sometime. I have a cousin who with his wife and kids lives in Vancouver, WA.

      BtW: The borders of color´s name change from culture, country, language to culture, etc...
      There are a complete block of English "blue" and "green" that in Spanish are changed in "green" and "blue". And people can call "yellow" that other people (Seeing the same) call "green" It´s only the point where you put the start of the other name
      Pretty sure that no one understand my :)

The BC license plates and the word "eh" at the end of sentences narrowed it down to BC. The word Granville popped up which is a place in Vancouver. And then of course he did say Deep Cove at least twice.

Been going out on a hand cycle and doing various running events with a friend. And everytime we're out on the trails, i'm a lot like Robert, just curious about everything, absorbing my surroundings. So it was exciting to watch your video and share your experience.
      Ever since i've heard of these glasses I always thought it would be amazing to find a colorblind artist, and surprise him with these glasses and just sit back and watch his mind be blown, but then ask them to do a picture or painting and watch how the unique ways they would use and incorporate those new found colors.

    My first child, I first found out that he was color blind when he was 7 years old. When I heard that there were glasses for color blind people, I tried to set aside funds to buy them color blind glasses. Now he is 26 years old, yet I still can't afford to buy him. Even after I am getting older now, I no longer have a job after an accident in 2011 ... I am really happy to see him can have glasses for color blindness .... God bless you all....

    This really made me cry. We who have always been able to see color we take it for granted . I can only imagine what it is like to not see in color. Thank You for sharing your video. And thank You ENCHROMA. Also that place you are at took my breath away WOW!!! Thanks.

    I've watched a fair number of these Enchroma videos, and Robert is the first guy not to take them off or flip them up.

    What did he say when he saw his hair? Being a red head I bet that was a shocker too.

      haha We couldn't find a mirror early enough so I just showed him Ron Weasley. He thought it was funny. He sees a slight bit or red but nowhere near as vibrant or contrasted as the rest of us.

    Those crimson/carnelian leaves around 7:00, were spectacular!! If you'd been seeing muddy browns in place of reds your entire life, the vibrancy of that thrilling, luminescent natural color must be a revelation. They're thrilling for anyone.

    I would pay money to hang out with these people who are seeing color for the first time. They are so positive and full of life when they're seeing the world for the first time in a new way. It's absolutely inspiring. Everything is new and beautiful to them. :) We can learn a lot from them.
