I enjoyed it to begin with but a combination of the controls and some questionable music choices had me quickly locating the firmware update option and replacing it with the awesome Jane Austen's 8 bit Adventure on my EXP :-) Keep up the awesome work Steve!
I remapped the controls and didn't have any issues with that, but the controls aren't particularly responsive.. at all. That said the controls aren't half as terrible as the music.
@@genejoke8538 the music is very grating I over edited and removed that by accident. The video was running over 10 minutes. I had to do a lot of cutting 🤣
@@aboyandhisdogRE the graphics are pretty decent and it's ambitious for a GBstudio game, I'll give it that. And I finished it with both characters, but I don't think I'll be in a hurry to play it again.
@@paulspopculture5592 hey Paul, yeah get past the grating music and controls (I hear it was only mine that wouldn't map for some reason) and it's quite fun. I enjoyed the bosses fights.
@@dadrising6464 it's an indie game, i thought it okay, just the controls frustrated, and grating music at times. But I get people's problems with it. As for this month's, people are taking issue with it? How odd. it's totally inoffensive, has an unexpected theme. And the platforming itself plays fine. I mean it's no show stopper. But it doesn't need to be.

@@jayme69 the music was something wasn't it 😁 yeah, I'm really enjoying Jane Austin, just a great uncomplicated platformer.
Nothing from Indie Heroes 4 has grabbed me yet
@@nathanfoster3667 hopefully there will be something for you soon then mate. It's been okay for me. But no stand outs just yet

The game looks pretty nice for Gameboy color, but otherwise... mumble... grumble
Was a pretty crappy castlevania-clone. This months aint much better.. some may argue even worse
