For 40 years we’ve been told that very bad things could happen if we remove a cart with the power on. Even if Blaze claims it’s safe, I ain’t doing it.
I've been putting off updating my VS since the Hotfix just after Christmas but I must say that the Eject Cart feature plays well to my OCD so I just had to update and I'm glad to say it didn't brick "my precious" :-) It's even more precious now that I've cancelled my Amazon VS-R pre-order after all the shenanigans and just picked up the Tomb Raider Collection separately. I know people love the 8bitdo controllers and I have a few but they're not quite retro enough for me and typically you have to buy an extra Bluetooth Dongle. My favourite controllers are made by Retro-Bit and my go-to is the Legacy 16 Wireless 2.4 GHz controller. It's pretty much a SNES controller with analogue sticks and extra triggers. It may not be as premium as the 8bitdo offering but it's usually only £25 with the dongle included. It works great as a retro digital controller and has the analogue sticks and extra triggers for the occasions when you need them. I've still to give it a go on the VS with the analogue controls and will hopefully have a play about over the weekend and get back to you. Keep up the awesome work Steve and have a great weekend :-)
@@aboyandhisdogRE Hi Steve, I tested the VS analogue controls on Glover and it works i.e. you can walk by slightly titling the stick and run by pushing further. Feels much more natural to play. The great thing about the Legacy 16 2.4Ghz model is that you're essentially getting a decent wireless controller for everyday play on the Evercade with analogue compatible controls for the handful of games that support it :-)
Hi! Have you had time to try auto fire for any of the arcade titles? UA-camr “Crazy Burger” didn’t have any luck with it at all, none of the listed games got turbo fire for him. I’m all for analogue support, I hope it will be added to arcade games like the upcoming Ghox.

I have a video request. Try all the games that now support analog, share thoughts on the experience for each and whether you prefer the new feature or the old way on each of them. I could do this myself on some but I'm lazy plus 3 of the carts I don't own and likely it's the same for many other people that drop in. Of course can't try Legacy of Kain yet but could add that in the gameplay review when it's out. As for a decent analog controller, I assume it supports Xbox (haven't tried yet) and Xbox 360 controllers feel good but an Xb1 or X|S controller is not bad either. If you want cheaper but feels good and not Xbox, DOYOKY Switch Controller is a good one that I have for my Switch that only cost me 30 U.S. bucks (I need to try it on my VS now).

Best GOTM so far this year. Looks to be another on par with Big2Small. The secret game is very simple, but worth checking out if you like to juggle.
