Thank you for sharing! I'm probably going to get a concerta prescription at my Dr. apt tomorrow and am trying to get as much info as possible. I have been reading technical info and studies and stuff, but it's also nice to hear from people their first-hand experience.
@@anscomedy That's exactly why I'm learning - so I know how it's supposed to feel, and what kinds of symptoms are a result of too high, or too low a dose, or what side effects to expect and are normal, which ones tend to go down over time (eg insomnia) and which ones tend to keep getting worse (eg anxiety), all that kinda stuff.
You're a bit of a slow talker, a list would help. But other than that this has been the most informative video I've come across thank you very much, you're doing an amazing thing.
@@siobhanh5115 it may be merely more than ADHD-PI, maybe it's the unofficial SCT, slow cognitive tempo, because slow talking is part of the criteria. Everyone is different, but I'm primarily inattentive and I definitely speak faster, especially when I'm excited about something. Maybe it's just because I'm from California. Dr. Barkley calls it Concentration Deficit Disorder. Or it could be something else it's common to have a comorbid thing with ADHD.
@@anscomedy i would personaly like to add that i have just quit on concerta, Me believeing it was doing me no good so i quit on my own. After 15 years on it. now i don't take it anymore. Haven't been to doctor yet. i try to live life whit my adhd and stregthen it. It works if u put your mind on something that can drive you. 1 huge improvment i see for myself is that anxiety is pretty much gone. i would like to think i had something simillar to delusional parasitosis And for me this was really f. hard on my life. anyway we are different.
Umm... This channel doesn't seem to have enough views or subscribers to be made a UA-cam partner for monetization. Not sure what he was going on about.
