Dear Vimoh,
Today I came across this video and watched it. You are such a gem of a person. Totally cherished these 49 minutes and I appreciate the effort you have put into it. However, I think some things may have been misunderstood or not fully explained due to the brevity of the video.
1. Nehru Ji was an outspoken atheist even when he was a close associate of Gandhi Ji, who believed in the philosophies of Hinduism. Maybe Nehru Ji knew how superstitions could harm the progress of the country. So, it wasn't any political bias from my side to unnecessarily feature him. Nor was I intended to misinterpret his beliefs. By "personal God," I meant the personal nature of God, not a personal relationship with God. You pointed that out correctly, and I appreciate it.
2. Just being a Hindu, I don't believe in every philosophy that Hindu history offers. I do believe in a God (not necessarily a man/woman or anything imaginable) but I don't believe in his/her/its influence, otherwise one could jump off a building reading Hanuman Chalisa and not die.
3. Now, the toughest atheist question, according to you, is how one can believe in a God that one proclaims to be unimaginable. Doesn't the same go for something that doesn’t exist? So the reason I believe in a God is because I see the principle of cause and effect prevailing in our universe. From a very tiny twig of grass to the massive Sun and even more gigantic galaxies, we can explain the causes for them to form. Similarly, going beyond, this universe must have a cause. And that cause, maybe unknown to me now, must exist in the light of this basic principle of cause and effect. This could be anything, even this universe itself. So, this is the only reason I believe in a cause, which can be termed as God.
4. Neti Neti about Brahm (Why believe in Brahm in the first place) is because of the reason stated in point 3. Indian philosophies mostly go by सत्कार्यवाद (कार्य कारण सिद्धांत or the cause and effect principle).

You are truly an insightful philosopher and always very to the point. When I was in my second year, ISKCON brainwashed me with many irrelevant ideas, convincing me that science is baseless and that doing Bhakti is the right path. Initially, they taught me to love God, but it later turned into a fear of God. They dismissed many scientific concepts, which significantly reduced my scientific temperament. As a BSc Physics student at IIT, my grades suffered continuously for two years.
However, since discovering your videos, I have gained a better understanding of many things. I am now determined to excel in Physics in my final year and hereby declare myself an atheist, committed to questioning false beliefs.

Atheism is about not believing in any available beliefs of others, its not "belief that there is no god". Because then i will have to prove my belief/theory. Its on those who propose the existence to prove their theory.
One question should be asked to Theist that if there is a god then why there are different gods in different geographical regions/countries of the world . This is a clear proof the people in different regions of the world created these gods and not the other way around.

So the thing is if I exist then it is hard to believe that I created myself and to believe that I am the ultimate cause of everything. So what causes my existence. I know the answer is evolution in the sense that what caused biological evolution of human beings. Ask that question again what caused evolution of human beings ? The answer is natural selection . Randomness. Keep on asking that question. Go on till you reach a conclusion. .... You will never reach a conclusion. It doesn't end according to what scientists know as of now. There is limit that cannot be crossed even if we want. So by now it is clear that I do not exist because of myself. Coming out of the loop ( which we can't ) which involves evolution, natural selection and the Big Bang whatever caused my existence and the world's existence is God ! You can apply all those imaginations that people from all cultures do. Leave that. They all were trying to know that people today still are and nobody has an answer. Coming to your present question, ...science is a result of the basic human curiosity to try and know things around them using observation, experimentation and verification. And questioning is basic to do that. Religion also came into being for the same reason. The difference is that most of the religions evolved in such a way that they stopped allowing questioning in their society. Meanwhile you do have certain religions that actually give chance to people to come over and have discussions and they promote new ideas and thoughts to emerge. One of them is Judaism, in the middle east. The other is Vedic Hinduism ( not present day Hinduism ). There are very few religions like this but yes there are religions that allow questioning and that is a thing to be appreciated.

I used to be an atheist and laughed at theists but when you encounter certain events in life which you couldn't explain through any logic, then no matter how hard you try you have to believe in your senses and accept the truth. That's why its better to be a believer in god rather than facing such extreme circumstances.

Look, I get that crazy, unexplainable stuff happens in life sometimes. But just because we can't wrap our heads around something right away doesn't automatically mean we should just give up and say "God did it." That's taking the easy way out.
Through history, lots of things that seemed totally baffling and "unexplainable" at first eventually got figured out through science, observation, and human curiosity. Stuff like lightning, eclipses, or diseases used to seem like acts of God until we understood them better.
Instead of jumping to supernatural conclusions, maybe we should keep an open mind and recognize that there's still a ton we don't understand about how the universe works. With more research and critical thinking, those "unexplainable" events could one day make total sense.
Believing in God just because you can't explain something is putting limits on yourself and your ability to find real answers. It's the lazy way out. Isn't it better to exercise curiosity, keep questioning, and expand human knowledge? That's how we've made sense of so much already.

It's mostly negative things happening around there and if you somehow knowingly or unknowingly caught in the traps of these negative people, it's kind of tough to find someone who can help you in that situation. You see we live in an era of fake babas and gurus who can easily lure you in. But over my past experience I have learnt that there's some kind of force which will pull out all the negativity inside your mind, a bond that you form directly to the god and no mediator in between only when you have a firm belief in God. And if that belief is strong enough no energy can harm you that's why.

You get it right. Actually you are a seeker. Your question is valid . For seeking, at first you have to be an atheist. And seeking for truth is the teachings of Vedanta. You are just seeking. Everytime you get frustrated,depressed or become hopeless(for which science hasn't any solution) then you seek for the truth automatically. And this process of seeking leads you to the true nature of yourself(Atma). Atma or brahma hasn't any relation with universe or supernatural thing. It's only purpose is to uplift your consciousness. Which is equally good for you and the world. Ex-Vivekananda.
You are just seeking for liberation there is no goal(assuming brahma or atma is not seeking). You may never find truth. What matters is your journey.
