If there is a third mobile operating system that could succeed in this world, I believe it would be HarmonyOS. This is because the apps used by Chinese people are mostly developed locally, unlike Android and iOS, which have apps from all over the world, making it difficult to get all developers on board. In fact, Huawei has already achieved significant progress. Upon launch, more than 5,000 HarmonyOS apps were developed, covering about 95% of the apps commonly used in China. As HarmonyOS continues to evolve in China and adapts to more apps, there is a strong chance it could challenge Android, provided there are no restrictions. After all, the underlying code of the Android system was written over a decade ago, making it somewhat cumbersome and outdated.
First China needs to make harmony os required by all phone brands sold in China. Follow the US and say all the others OSs are "security threats". Then market it heavily to phones sold to friendly BRICS nations.

With the limit of android, thanks to their own OS they can now make whatever they want with it with no limitations. Also not being part of EU makes this OS even more powerful with truly no limitations other than China themselves. Just imagine how much they will be able to do with their phones in 2-3 years time.
