Absolutely Love Mexican food !! Thanks for taking us D.F. is So busy with amazing markets and historical pyramids abound. So happy to see you guys enjoy yourselves with out cooking. Thanks for taking me back, I love Mexico 💕🙏🌟👍
@@TaklyntheWorld Mexican, Vietnamese and Italian for me but I love all foods. Try the chili flavored chapulines with a little lime and a beer🍻. Cheers, kanpai and salud.
Ive been watching several bloggers, couples now and in the past months in México, i like this couple, they show more honesty and respect for mexican street food so u got a new subscriber, and yes eat where crowds are.
Taku and Jocelyn you guys are awesome. Keep up the adventures whilst there are no kids. Travel is the catalyst for learning new cultures and cuisines. Cheers
You guys are the perfect couple fun loving smiles all the time, yeah Mexico city foods look really delicious. watching u guys making me hungry. next time eat first than watch ❤👍👍
So awsome see you both out traveling. My favorite you tube couple.. You give such warm energy.. Can not wait until the next installment.. Safe travels. 🖤
I love this type of video on this channel. So cool seeing you both travel and sample all the food in the area. I gotta say you guys must have been full after all that eating. Amazing video taku & jocelyn!!
Happy vacation in Mexico City and experience the excellent foods that they have many blessings on all your journeys have a great time these memories will last a lifetime see y’all in the next video peace ✌️
Did you guys have one of your legs hollowed out? How did you eat so much. LOL I am really enjoying this second channel. It's nice to see more of Jocelyn. Looking forward to more vids
excelente video amigo! but don't believe the guy who said you can only find pulque in Mex. You can find that here in Cali too! and part of what makes them Salsa's tasty is because they are made in a molcajete, not in a blender, big difference, and them blue corn torillas- damn! bomb!! o.k. i'll stop now cause i'm getting hungry.
Great video, I am glad to see you enjoying the culture. I would love if you tried a plate from my mother's home town. She is from Culiacan Sinalo. The plate is Pata de mula. Witch translates to blood arch clam. It is made kind of like a cheviche but with cabbage added.
Whoah why did I not know about this channel?! Have you mentioned it in any of your videos on outdoors chef?! Just saw this in my recommended and was like that looks like Taku?! Wait it is!!! Just subscribed!
Yeah just a few times. We don't want to push it too much since it's not related to fishing and we always end up with people upset that it's not a second fishing channel lol
5:47 On regards "Caldo de Gallina", it is a main dish, not very expensive, and a favourite of people who like to eat a good chicken broth on a budget. Fast food is taking over Mexico City, and Caldo de Gallina is one of the offerings that is holding the fort for good.
Don't know if you're doing it already, but it's costum to to greet everyone if you're entering their establishment, wether it be a simple hello, how are you? Everyyone greets everybody in mexico
I like what you were going for in the vid! Here is some constructive criticism because i know your traveling/ food vlogging videos can get soo much better. 1. Talk about whats in the food, aka ingredients. Instead of just buying and eating the food, tell us what you are buying and whats in it. Buying tacos with nopales, carne asada, french fries all drenched in a red salsa made of chiles de arbol and tomato. Explain what nopales are, their texture, their flavor. Do the fries on the taco make a difference in flavor? Talk about the ingredients. 2. Explain new foods. What is pulque? Any connection to Mexico City? Where does it come from? How is it made? Great job talking to the owner! I liked that very much! 3. Name those stands/ restaurant! Viewers like me want to know where you went because hopefully one day (finger crossed 🤞🏻) i get to go where you are and i want to experience just what you guys ate! Stand doesnt have a name? Name the market place (mercado) where its located. 4. Please do NOT complain about the street food. At the end of the video you said the food is so greasy and heavy and they cook everything in oil. Guys this is insulting. Why go to a city as a foodie and then bash on their foods? Im not saying to be disingenuous, but perhaps rephrase what you’re saying in a more positive way, “If you’re coming here you’ll really need to come in an empty stomach because the food is extremely filling! You dont want to miss out on anything!” I enjoy your chemistry with each other! You too seem to really have a great time together and i enjoy you two taking us (especially those of us who cant travel) on your trip! Of course this is my take, take it with a grain of salt! Cant wait for the next video! Edits: typos
