@@casualplamo I ended up getting one of my own and i just finished it. I have not been having that great of a week but its a good note to end it on even though it is overshadowed by other events I still feel like I managed to do something as minor as it is. Thank you so very much for inspiring me.
I’m sure you’ll be able to man! Just keep at it one step at a time. As you can see in the video what I’m doing is pretty straightforward stuff, so I’m sure anyone can do it too! Good luck!
Thank you! I’ve got a video coming soon! Although not from the gundam franchise, but it’s made by the designer of Zeta and qubeley 😁 *hint* I hope you’ll check it out when it’s up!
This kit is incredibly frustrating to me. In some ways I think it's one of the absolute best-looking Zaku kits. But it doesn't quite look right as the FZ, that is a huge problem for me personally. I got so frustrated trying to correct the looks of one that I threw it against the wall and broke it. I did manage to build one, though I don't really feel like it was my best work... Mostly 'cause I built it weathered, as part of a scene, but I'm not sure I did too well with either the scenery or the weathering. I look forward to seeing the process of your build.
Fantastic build!!! Only thing I would stay away from is some of the panel lines. Especially for Zakus where the design really calls for more utilitarian productions, some of the more elaborate panel lines feel a bit out of place.
Can i have some of the brandnames of the tools that you used through out the video? Or like a link. Im from Philippines and i don't know what I'm looking for to modify my gunpla kits.
Sure, but there are quite a few and I accumulate them over time. I don’t recommend you buying them all at once though. You might end up not using them in the end. Some of the tools I use are: Pin vise: DSPIAE and Mr hobby. Thin cement: Tamiya. Chisel: DSPIAE Scribing tape: DSPIAE Airbrush: Sparmax Max-3 You should be able to find them all on shopee
Try searching Home Depot, or any shops that sells general workshop tools, materials, etc. Should be listed as plastic clamp/vise or spring clamps, something like that. They have various sizes available, just have to find the right one.
What if you painting the runners with the pieces on them, and then put it together? Edited: I did not paint the runners after days of research, and instead did something just as bad… I painted all the parts at once. But it came out ok. Edit 2: Where tf do you buy Mr. Color Super Smooth Clear Matte? Bro must of got it from the black market cuz I can’t find it anywhere
Bad idea. When you clean your nubs later by sanding you will damage the paint. And you’ll have to touch it up, which means more work and it’ll look pretty bad 😅
This needs more attention
The quality of this build is simply mindblowing. Thank you very much for sharing.
Glad you like it!

Came here from Reddit, love the job you did on this kit, looks great! Keep it up!
Thank you!
That's a wonderful piece of work.
It was also fun to watch the delicate work process :)
You're amazing! Loved all the captions and explanations; subscribed!
That gun came out fantastic
This is so good! It looks like a 3D model! Wow… just wow.
Thanks man 👍
Impressive details and painting. Really enjoyed seeing your build photos on Reddit and now on UA-cam.
Thank you! 🙏
Simply Incredible! In awe of the dedication.
Awesome!
Your work on this was both inspiring AND gave me a good look at the possibilities of a kit I wanted to buy anyway.
Thanks man 👍
Just amazing, can't wait to see more of your work.
Thank you!
Beautiful work, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
AMAZING. Thank you
this really took alot of patience, I aspire to be like you and do great model kits like these. Been practising with easy High grade kits like the GM
I’m sure you’ll be able to man! Just keep at it one step at a time.

Came here from Reddit. Very nice build video! This is going to be my starting point in modifying my HG kits!
Thanks for taking the time to watch the vid 🙏
Amazing built!! you just gained a new subscriber
Thank you! Much appreciated!
Nice work man! I also buy a same one model after watching this video.
Thank you!
Good luck with your kit! 👍
Your name maybe Casual Plamo, but your skill is Pro Plamo (also easy to understand for beginner like me) 😎👍🏻
Haha thx man 👍
"Casual" Plamo my ass, this looks better than most Zaku IIs in custom Gunpla competitions
Haha thanks man 😁
nice, was enjoying a nice hamburger while watching this
It's hard to believe that it's an HG kit

The one thing I really noticed is the oversized rifle.
Even in other FZ kits including the 1/100, the same rifle type is smaller in size 😅
dymo tape nya dspiae emang ngebantu banget, bisa buat kanan kiri simetris pake ruler 1mm nya, btw zaku nya keren bro, nice !
Thank you bro 😆

Haha yea, panel line design is the hardest part imo 😅
Scribing is actually easier than designing them 🤣
What a nice hamburger!
I love your panel lining but your modifications scares me 😝 I dont think I have the heart to clip the shoulder spikes
簡易高機動で良い出来ですね。
コメントありがとうございます😊
where did you get the ball socket from for the zaku mono eye mod?
From the build series add on pack, ballden arms.
Saya menghargai kesabaran anda.
looks great man, upload a tutorial maybe :D
Haha yea maybe in the future 🤣
@@casualplamo oom ini saya yang di KGB, ternyata channel orang indo toh hehe... keren om zaku kai nya
Hehe thank you 🙏

May I ask where you got those clamps?

Can you give me the decal' name you use ?
I used generic zeon markings taken from the RG zaku ii waterslide decals

What if I just don’t sand and eat the nubs?
Well if you don’t mind nubs then sure.
As long as you’re happy with the results, that’s what matters in the end.
I’m gonna buy a cheap old hguc gm and paint it this way. I’ll post it if it comes out decent
Will you ever sell this kit?
Maybe locally, don’t think can sell internationally. It’ll probably be damaged somehow in shipment 😅
I love this so so much
Just want to know if you were to sell this, how much?
Lol I’m not sure myself. At the very least it’ll be at an MG price I guess.
@@casualplamo Absolutely magnificent man
