Yes!! Please do more of these! I love watching plant chores and re-potting videos! I’d also like to see how you get your plants ready for winter/dormancy 😊
Thank you so much! I’ll have plants to bring inside and I’ll make a video around that :) It stays warmer here so it might be a awhile yet before I bring them in for good ☺️
It makes my heart soar to see all of these people have plant rooms! I have always wanted a ant room a la Morticia Addams style but found it kind of abnormal and now so many people people have made it the norm. We all are nurturing a small botanical garden @ home ♡
Hi. I’m in Florida and we run a dehumidifier in the garage. I usually get about 2 gallons of water per day and I use that for my plants. They love it and it’s free 🙂
Fantastic video. As always there is a lot of educational content but what is really brought home by watching is how hard you work to maintain your gorgeous plants. We, as viewers, get to enjoy your plants because of your hard work and no doubt we are very appreciative of what you do. You have a wonderful channel.
Thank you! 🥹 It's a lot of watering in this space but they love how warm it is in there. They have grown so much these past several months and it makes me happy that they all seem to be doing well for the most part especially after the thrips 🙃
Loving your planty setup! I acquired a TON of plants over the summer (I put alot of my I door plants on my balcony and my neighbors have brought me a bunch) SO I'm in need of some creative lighting for them all, as we head into the cooler months.
Loves this kind of relax video , I totally did some plant chores with you! Trying to prep for fall/winter and I have to say I’m feeling the burnout . I seen spider mites yesterday so i had to treat all my plants (1 growtent and 2 cabinets) it literally took me about 10 hours and I had to sit down I really pushed myself today. I am at the point where I think I need to revoke a few plants to feel excited about plants again
That calathea is stunning. Good luck with it. Loved the video. I think Ill be repotting all winter also. Got a foldable card table to do plant stuff on. Still have watering issues. Relieved Im not alone in my struggle. Your kitties are precious. We have 4. Thanks for your video. Hope you can take sone time for yourself between plant care sessions. Peace.
I use my rain water I bought 2 of the 20 gallon container in Walmart and put them under my gutter when is raining then I take off the leave out grab a piece of towel to filter the water from any dirt check the PH and is 6.0 to 6.5 and I use it then put the container lid on and it last me so everytime it rain I do that and in winter when it snow I use it to I let it melt and my plants looove it
That’s a great idea! It rains so much here I feel like I need to take advantage of it :) I’m sure my plants will thank me! I’ll have to get a PH tester too! Thank you 🙏🏼
I Love These Videos 🐈🌱💚😍🥰 Aww I Love Your Kitties, Mine Are Just Like Yours.. I Couldn't Help Myself But Laugh In The Beginning Of Your Hairdo. You Go Girl 👍🏼🙂 You Do Them Plants. I Was Cleaning & Repotting Plants Watching This. I Been Wanting Another Calathea So Bad For Awhile, I Also Noticed When I Over Fertilize My Calathea It Attracts Spider Mites🕷👀 So I'm Definitely Not Doing That Again. Thanks For Uploading I'm Sure You Were Tired & Needed Rest. Good Job Melissa 💚🌱👍🏼
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the video! Haha the cats are so crazy sometimes I show them again for another video I filmed :) interesting about the calathea and fertilizer! I’ll have to keep that in mind thank you! 🙏🏼
Thank you so much! I’m glad it was relaxing! The window faces south :) it’s not really strong because of the rainy season here it’s cloudy a lot but the plants right in there window get a good amount!
I love this type of video, your collection is beautiful. Was wondering did you always have the racks in your Milsbo or did you switch mid stream for more air flow or was it because they are really cute!!! lol have a wonderful weekend 🥰
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼☺️ I put them in at the beginning, I have the videos saved under an ikea playlist that shows the process and all the links. I knew I didn’t want the glass from the get go :)
All the lights in there are grow lights minus the ceiling fan light. I have 4 bulb grow lights, a mother plant spectrum light and the rest are strip lights. It’s a lot 😂🙈
Great video! I have a very basic question. Kind of feel silly asking but here I go. How do you water plants growing in moss? How do you know if it is too much or not enough?
Thank you! :) The plants I have in moss are usually just propagations so they don't stay in moss for too long. If they're covered they usually stay moist but sometimes I have to water them. The moss starts to look lighter in color and gets a bit crunchy if it gets too dry. I just water a little to dampen it again but I try not to give too much water so it doesn't mold. I hope that helped! :)
I've had a plant micans actually I thought it was rooted enough to put into soil but it wasn't took it out put it into water and now it's doing great the roots got bigger stronger putting out new leaves I think that's what's wrong with your plant that has the Brown leaf
Oh it definitely can happen! I try to be mindful of that and make sure to dump out any excess especially for the moss poles. They can sit in water and rot the whole root system if I’m not careful 🫣

Thank you! I totally get that feeling! I think finding pests for me makes me feel that way. It makes for so much extra work. Dealing with thrips recently really had me stressed out. I find when my collection is more manageable and I have plants I love caring for I feel less overwhelmed. I probably need to get rid of some myself 🙈
I feel ya! I spent most of the day cleaning my plant room, making room for some plants that spent the summer outdoors and cutting up others for propagation. I found a mealy bug on my adensonii mint cutting 🥴 we got this yall! Plant swaps are becoming more and more popular throughout my state so it's been a great opportunity to size down.
I hope you enjoy this style of video from me! Thanks for watching :)

Wow that’s so smart, the water it will drawl in , is it okay to give to the plants ? I’m curious what the Ph is I may give it a go :)
This is such a good idea!
@@brooklin_bernek
Not sure what the Ph is but the plants love it. I’ve been doing this for years and no issues at all.
Oh interesting! I’ll have to look more into this! Thanks for sharing :)

Such a beautiful collection of plants and I love how you display them 💚🪴🙌
Thank you so much! They’re growing so well this summer that I’m running out of space since they’ve gotten bigger lol.

Have you closed off the heater we vents in your plant room. That might help with the heat in the room, especially this winter.

This just made my day. Thanks for sharing your beautiful plants with us. Excited for the "repot with me" video. We'll watch out for that. ❤❤❤
Aw thank you so much! I made more mix recently so I’ll be doing a lot more repotting soon! 🤗☺️
They should be all happy plants now ,enjoyed the video
💚🌵🌱☘️
Thank you so much! 🥰
Okay, this was such a vibe. Please do more of these! Haha. I 10000% agree that you just had to buy that Calathea. Omg, stunning.
Thank you so much! 🥹 I'm so happy you enjoyed the video! I'll definitely do more of these 🤗
Great video....loved the kitty fight at the end haha
Thanks for the great video, Melissa! Your monstera Aurea does look awesome :D Love your channel
Thank you so much! I love how it’s growing for me! 🥰🙏🏼
I saw someone else use their ring light to get better light when they’re looking for pests. That way they can see better. Genius idea 💡
I also use my phones flash light it works great esp when it dark that’s when I can see them best if I have them
I do this too 😂
Maybe wet the leaf first then dust with the fungicide powder. It will stick better.
You did great! I really enjoyed it 🤗
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼☺️

The silver band looks s beautiful. I may need to invest in one someday.
It’s really gorgeous! 🥰
The slim mold is totally normal when you put mychoriz :-)
Such a relaxing and wonderful video as always Melissa🌿 Can I ask which direction your plant room window faces for your Hoyas?
Thank you so much! I’m glad it was relaxing! The window faces south :) it’s not really strong because of the rainy season here it’s cloudy a lot but the plants right in there window get a good amount!
That calathea is absolutely beautiful 🤩
Thank you! 💚
Loved this!

Hello! I noticed you have a few lights. Besides your cabinet are they grow lights or just regular lights?
All the lights in there are grow lights minus the ceiling fan light. I have 4 bulb grow lights, a mother plant spectrum light and the rest are strip lights. It’s a lot 😂🙈
Where did you get the white shelf?

Great video and your cats are adorable! I have 3, 2 girls and a boy as well as about 160 plants!
Thank you so much! I show them more in a future I filmed since someone asked to see them! I have 3 as well two girls! ☺️ 160 is a good amount! 🙏🏼
I’m still learning but do you worry that the pot will drain more into the cover pot then sit in water? I’m scared to get root rot!
Oh it definitely can happen! I try to be mindful of that and make sure to dump out any excess especially for the moss poles. They can sit in water and rot the whole root system if I’m not careful 🫣
Nice Video.......and the content was good as well.......cheers
Thank you ☺️
very nice🌿🌹☘🍀🍁
Thank you! ☺️
That zebra plant isn’t stunning 🤩
Thank you! I love the pretty bloom it gave me!
