Have you liked the Blue over the year you had it? Any problems? Also FYI they have mountable wireless keypads now. $89 and it also chimes.
Yes. The ADT Blue has been good overall. Works well and the app allows me to arm and disarm remotely. Just a one time payment to buy the system and no monthly recurring charges.

Can you change the window and door chimes to something louder? If the sound went off during the night it would be very easy to miss it
That’s a great question to ask. From what I can see in my app there isn’t an option to change or customize the chime sound. Maybe ADT will make an update on their end at some point In the future.

Does it say “front door” when it opens
When the door opens, it chimes from the home base hub. It doesn't verbally say "front door," when the door opens. That would be helpful if it stated that. Thanks for watching this video and subscribing to the channel and liking the video. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear this. Mine was in the box when I bought it it brand new. I would suggest either contacting ADT and asking if they can provide it. Otherwise if it were me I would return and exchange back to the store I bought it from. Hope that helps. Thanks for liking and subscribing. 🤙
does ADT have cameras with lights included with in the cameras?
That’s a great question to ask. You can buy the cameras with lights as an add on or create your own custom package at their website. I don’t think the camera you’re asking about comes in a standard box. 👍

How low do you get your camera battery before you change it
That’s a great question. Unfortunately I don’t have a camera in this particular setup. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful to you.
Can you add on ADT smoke alarms?
That’s a great question. I don’t believe the smoke detector works with this particular system and setup. 👍
Do you have outdoor cameras?
Yeah. Different brand though.
If this system requires wifi and has a back up battery, how will the system still work if the wifi is not connected due to power outage??
I believe if the power or Wi-Fi experience an outage then the system is down. Maybe if you have the paid service added on you could get continual service.

Any advice on the outdoor camera battery life? I have to recharge it every few weeks. Not really sustainable. For this reason, I would not recommend these cameras be installed in a location you can't frequently and easily reach to recharge.
Unfortunately I did not purchase any ADT cameras. Your theory makes sense to keep the camera accessible in a spot you can get to it for recharging.

What does the siren sound like?
Siren is a high pitched siren sound/alarm. Disturbs your ear drums and easy to hear outside away from the house.

@@radon_alarms making a video of the siren? I could but I don’t think the microphone I have would pick up the audio clearly, and it would sound distorted from my audio playback.

Pretty loud so that it can be heard outside the premises as a deterrent. 👍

The one in my video is a system I purchased from Best Buy. You can find the link in the description. You can opt to pay for monitoring service or no fee self monitor. Best of luck in your decision going forward. 🤙
Your monthly price is covering the service and equipment. Good news is for the three years you’re leasing the equipment, it has a warranty on all that equipment. Whereas if you buy it out right then you have to replace it if/when it breaks
