Concrete tractor ballast

We needed extra weight for traction and steering control and better use of the loaded (can put heavier loads in the bucket and increase safety and functionality of the tractor). Some type of ballast is definitely on ALL tractors!

You could have added a hitch extension allowing the adapter to be located in the rear section of block alleviating clearance issues.

One of the objectives in designing this ballast was to keep it compact and out of the way. Adding an extension would have been like dragging an implement. If that were the case I would’ve just added a box, blade or something.

On the small tractor increase rpm to increase hydraulic flow. and it will lift block and both buckets.

Nice stuff, how much did the bottom concrete weigh, and how much per 5 gallon bucket?
