Oxygen sensors are in the way where the cover is covering the valve to get the 10mm bolt out by the oxygen sensor is it better to just pull the engine I have a 2014 s4

@speedlinegarage just tensioners? Ok I would like to replace the tensioners on my A6 2012, chain rattle every morning, do I need to remove the supercharger and valve cover to replace the upper tensioners? Thanks
@@jrproductions9820 after some research as well as attempting myself it’s safe to say it’s impossible lol. You’ve gotta move the cats to remove the shields properly as well as the combi valves! Taking the opportunity to install test pipes while I’m in there.

Hwo did you reach the EGR valve to remove the bolts? I have a audi a6 c6 2.4 2007 and I find it hard to rech.

Front rear upper covers you can change tensioners and thats about all. To do guides and chains you’d need to remove engine and separate it front trans

Everything is possibly but VERY difficult. Cats should be removed
I was told you had to pull the engine to replace the timing chain, would I still be able to do so using your method?
Unfortunately no. You have to pull engine to do chains but not if you’re just replacing tensioners which is what people mostly do.

no gaskets. RTV thats oil safe
