When I was a kid in the early 80s I was fishing in a canyon in Colorado when one flew over me at high speed and very low altitude, maybe 200 feet above the canyon lip. It scared the crap out of me but it was very cool to see. One of my favorite planes.
May look like them but is very different plane. Designed for high speed, high altitude, all weather interceptor. Used almost exclusively in Alaska and the extreme north. Ie, cold weather.
I’m sure there’s quite a few accuracy issues with this kit. Trumpeter plans on so many releases every year they allow too many inaccuracies in their kits. I gave up on trumpeter a long time ago.

Wow what a memory, thanks for watching!

Yes, the F-106 is a unique aircraft and great for those looking for something outside of the norm. Thanks for watching!

The manufacturers creative license is infinite, thanks for watching.
I had actually never heard of the F106. It entered service right around the same time as, and is virtually identical to, the Mig-21 and Mirage 3.
Daniel really knows his stuff, thanks for watching.
I was fortunate to see F-106s fly for several years in the middle 1970s.
