This is a great addition, such an iconic and sporty looking jet - they've got a real 1:1 example at the Yorkshire Air Museum too so can go along for reference viewing and photo shoots.
Literally this. I paid £60 for an old kit recently on ebay because they're out of stock and nobody making a current kit. Same with the Phantom FGR2, the kits are so rare you're looking at £60+ second hand. Airfix if you're reading this, start planning a Phantom FGR2 in 1:48 - there is demand for it!!
When I was a kid in the 70s every year the big event was the Airfix catalog. It was enormous. Loved it. I had the original Jaguar, Hudson and E-Boat from the original range.
Oh my goodness, the Airfix 2025 range feels like someone at Airfix HQ basically looked in my brain and picked all the 'planes I love from a childhood spent making models. The Flying Fortress! The Liberator! A mk 1 Hurricane! I really could not be happier!
Agreed, very nice to see. Looking for some more exotic parts and markings though... Oman, India, Nigeria. Radar and Sea Eagle. TIALD and CPU-123B. Over and Underwing Sidewinder rails. LAU-5003 CRV-7 pods. CBU-87 high altitude CBUs and perhaps BL.755 as well. Both main instrument panels. Alpha and Old Style helmets. It's still a really good thing to see and there are huge numbers of secondary release options, including the French variant, 2-seaters and perhaps even a Jaguar M. Thanks Airfix. Beautiful, menacing, jet. pbs.twimg.com/media/Fd_z1eAWAAEl9A6.jpg

I think Airfix has hit the ball out of the park with this years releases. When I was a young boy I built the Saturn V rocket. It was truly impressive! So many kits to get... no money, no time, no problem. Getting them anyway!
Well done to Dale and the @Airfix team! A 1/48 Spitfire TR.9 in IAC scheme is brilliant news. Also excited about the Alvis Stalwart and the vintage classic boats 👏👏

Absolutely stoked for the old Stolly, I used to work on these when I did my apprenticeship with the British Army in the 80's. I have the Accurate Armour resin kit and that is a gorgeous beast, but delicate as hell, can't wait to get my hands on a plastic injection moulded version, Thanks Airfix. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Airfix, if you are reading this, I beg you to bring out a 1/35 scale British Army Bedford 4-Ton 4X4 G.S. Truck in plastic injection moulding. The only one available in 1/35 is a resin kit and apart from costing an absolute fortune, it's practically impossible to find anywhere. An Airfix 1/35 scale kit of this truck would be the icing on the cake !!!.
Loving the Bedford MK and Landrover, please consider having the optional FFR kit included. Would love to see a kit for a Mk1 not Mk2/1 FV432 kit and or The Alvis Saracen NI spec.
Thank you for the Space line... l give my kids each a model a month to help them eith patience , reading and following directions and it's fun . My daughter will love these

The Revell/Monogram Saturn V is on the shelves of any good model shop. The SLS is program is going to be cancelled by congress in CY 2025. Airfix messed up making a model of it.
@@orbitalair2103 both are equally bad. Both molds are from the 1960s and were not updated with the flight rated Apollo capsule, proper escape tower, and the engines are inaccurate.
You’ve outdone yourselves this year Airfix!! Thanks
My daughter will love these
Great, rockets love the Saturn 5 yes I am that old I watched it live. I be getting them all and maybe a few spares, great for scratch building. Thank you Airfix. Any chance of reissuing the Starcruiser. That's a lovely kit and is great for letting your imagination run. 😀
The Revell/Monogram Saturn V is on the shelves of any good model shop. The SLS is program is going to be cancelled by congress in CY 2025. Airfix messed up making a model of it.
@@Easy-Eightspace collectors will still want it. Question is this, is the air fix saturn kit better than the revell one?
@@orbitalair2103 both are equally bad. Both molds are from the 1960s and were not updated with the flight rated Apollo capsule, proper escape tower, and the engines are inaccurate. Real Space sells an upgrade kit for both. Revell/Monogram still own the market because occasionally they will reissue the huge 1/96 and 1/48 models. That does not count the Esties Saturn fleet nor a few others.
Great launch! Was hoping to see the small kits from the 1970's that included the Piper Cherokee Arrow kit, along with the others from that line. Please bring them back.
Well done keeping the Jag under wraps, you must have been bursting to tell everyone. Bravo !! Also looking forward to the Stalwart. Maybe, at some point you might consider the long ignored 432? Or maybe a Warrior?
When I was about 11 ish in 1969, I used to make Airfix aeroplanes, spitfires etc, and put bangers inside them before gluing up with the fuse sticking out. I would hang them from a tree in the garden with string and set the fuse alight! Happy days 😂😂
Well done Airfix on the Ferret and especially the Stalwart, soooo many options opened up
Way to go Airfix, keep up the re-ignited brnding and great model releases!
Glad to see the Sopwith Pup re-release. Also the Stalwart looks interesting. I had the old soft plastic one a long time ago
Awesome video!! I'm a huge fan of British armament. What an exciting time for arfix. I will be watching closely. Thank you for sharing 😊
Would love to see a new Tornado F.3. And a new TSR-2
Would like to see a Sikorsky Sea King SH-3D (66) with Apollo 11 capsule 🤞
Love the space kits and the old boats. The Puma and classic Jaguar are wonderful as well. 2025 will be a good year for building kits!
The Clipper is lovely litt;le kit but will the decal sheet have the wing walk markings? And will the BOAC scheme be fixed?
15:16 Those spits were colecting dust for a long time :D but two seater hype!
Please bring back the Gerry Anderson , Angel interceptor in 1/48 or bigger 1/24 scale .
What's happened to the 1:48 Lysander? Ive preordered one in 2024 and nothing heard?
@@doughughes5107 Apparently Airfix are waiting for the container full of Lysanders to arrive. It keeps getting delayed but it's supposed to be there on Friday.
