PUIG Tail tidy for the Ducati Monster 937😏

- I mounted a tail tidy on my Ducati Monster +. I wasn't a big fan of that surfboard on the back of my Monster either. Good time to replace it. I liked the tail tidy from Evotech the best, but also very expensive. So I chose the Puig tail tidy 20715N. Completed with the original flashing light holders(9604N) and coupling piece for the number plate lighting (20547N).

I love how easy ducati made the mods to be installed on this bike! This is what every manufacture should do, have wires easy to be disconnected and easily accessible. Makes everything much cleaner and easier to maintain! Keep up the good videos :)

That indeed is a Rizoma Flat bar. Makes for a bit more sporty seating, obviously somewhat compromising comfort.
nice video. one question (another Monster topic) .. while riding inside the city, with some heavy traffic... so not much room for keep moving... how ofter the cooling system runs and how hot is the average (engine)... as mine stays mostly at 100 degrees while stuck a bit on the traffic.. thank!
These engines do not like stop and go traffic. Mine will be around those temperatures in that scenario too. Normal for these bikes, nothing to worry about!

Mr. Thomas! Hope you are doing well! You need a very small inbus for that. I ended up using a torx size 8 cause that fitted too. Be careful cause the material is very fragile. ua-cam.com/video/kC75n0LLdDU/v-deo.html

@@motorcycle-man thx i'm fine i hope you too. I am asking because I'm not sure whether torx or inbus and because the whole thing is so "fragile". My reading glasses are not strong enough but.....why do we have a mobile, i will try to zoom in today.
@@thomasdusseldorf1025 UA-cam on mobile should allow you to zoom now with two fingers. Both torx and inbus should fit. My inbus was a bit of a cheap set so for these small sizes it was a bit loose and didn't want to ruin the bolt. I held the rubber bolt on the inside with my fingers as I started twisting the bolt just enough so I could do the rest with my fingers. I hope all this helps, if not please message again.🙏
@@motorcycle-man no - i meant to zoom my screws at sportcockpit and......you wont believe it, its torx not Inbus, so you even chose the best way.
