I feel like Supertramp was severely underappreciated back then, but their music has lived on and the quality of the tunes have held their own in the classic rock world. Great job on the cover.
they were pretty popular in Canada, i remember when i was in my early teens and hearing 'Fools Overture' for the first time at a buddy's place and having my young mind awestruck
At my High School, we had the Southern Rock Crew, & we had the ones who leaned more towards the SuperTramp, L.R.B, Dan Fogelberg, Firefall, & Toto type stuff. All of which blow the doors off of anything the H. S. kids have had going, in the last few decades, and that wasn't even mentioning the Supergroups, already established by then like: Kansas, Styx, Heart, Journey, VH, Queen Stones, Who, & Zeppelin.
@@muskokamike127 a great cover musician realizes what they can do, and what they shouldn’t do. There is no need to sound exactly like the original. You’re better off doing it the way that sounds best from you and your skill set. It’s very rare that anybody could mimic Rogers voice. Not to mention that the music itself sounds exactly like the original.

This was the 1st LLB I didn’t like upon 1st listen & usually don’t buy “…ya, but you can see what they’re doing” as a buffer for something that sucks (ST:TMP). Now, with the wisdom given by weeks of time, I see what they’re doing, this shit is better than the original. Maybe I need to watch TMP again. Thank you for all you do, LLB. Hope to see a show soon.
Great job, LLB! Awesome sax solo - nicely done! Props to the VIDEO PRODUCTION CREW.!! Their final version of this and every LLB song, shows the right musician at the right time for the viewer to really hear THEIR contribution at that moment. LLB videos are immersive and so well done. Thanks, All.
I don’t like to say “it grew on me” but I was listening today & it hit like a ton of bricks. This IS better than the original. These guys must be a bunch of UK music profs cuz they do some funky shit you don’t always catch.
LLB has a habit of picking some of the most iconic songs around. Which means the song is popular but also very well known, with very specific arrangements and vocals. This means an occasional miss, not because they lack anything, but because they aim SO high. I love that this is a reflection of Roger’s later solo concert version. Spot on, including the richness of the 12-string. Vocals held up, and the sax nicely done as well. When LLB gets it right, they knock it out of the park. Thanks gang! ❤
Top tier LLB right here. I'm amazed every time Vandee perfectly covers yet another artist's vocals and I should be used to it by now. And of course great playing by everyone.
I am the type that may love a few songs from a band. I have my favorites. But at my age 67 come on. But these stunningly talented and there is a whole lot of love and care with each song. I don’t think there is a song they couldn’t do. 🙏🙏🙏
"See the man with the lonely eyes, oh take his hand you'll be surprised". I shed a few tears. I feel like I am that guy, so much to share but everyone around me treats me like crap.
Beautiful! Such attention to detail, as usual. And the lead and harmony vocals are nothing but top notch. This song serves as a prefect reminder during the holiday season.
Two weeks ago my wife and I were discussing how cool a Supertramp song would be if LLB did it, and here we are! Wonderful cover! Next discussion. Come Dancing by The Kinks. You know you wanna.
That was one outstanding performance of one of my favorite groups from the 70's!!! Mike, you and Jessica nailed those vocals!!! The band was flawless. You folks really outdid yourselves!!! Keep that wonderful music coming!!!

Love this sound!! Would love to hear you do some Styx like Foolin' Yourself or The Grand Illusion.
Absolutely awsome and spot on. Such beautiful harmonies.
Brilliant cover

Michael, your vocals really stand out on this one. Well done LLB!!
Simply the best! Thank you, LLB.
Ooh, does this mean there's more Supertramp coming? How exciting!
Oh I hope so. The Logical Song, Breakfast in America, Bloody Well Right, Goodbye Stranger. 😊
Take the Long Way Home
@@kimmie-kat Oh yes, that too.
Very well done ! You make it look effortless

This is just gold. Roger Hodgson is not an easy cover
I LOVE how he's singing it in a pitch he can sing in as opposed to trying to match Hodgson. Excellent job!

One of the many things that makes LLB’s performances so good is seeing how much they themselves truly enjoy playing the songs. Excellent!
Beautifully done!! Great classic by supertramp
Mike you and your group are amazing! That 12 string makes me smile. WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!
Every song I've heard this Band do is just Fantastic. I've heard covers before but never this good and never this consistent.
LLB giving way more than a little bit. nice.
that 12 string Taylor melts me like hot butter
Keep coming back to this one. Brightens my days. Fantastic cover. Thanks LLB!
Your covers are timeless. In that the songs you cover help us listeners recover pieces of youth that are priceless.
You folks are something beyond a "cover band". Fantastic.
What a fantastic cover version of a Supertramp song!!
