What a fun haul! The Derwent Drawing pencils are exquisite. I bought a few open stock to try out, and eventually wound up with the whole 24-color set. Can't wait to see your swatches and how you will use them 😊
ooh lovely new supplies! I love the Derwent drawing pencils, they are buttery soft, completely different to the polychromos. Enjoy! I also bought the uniball set but I hope you have better luck with yours as several of mine were dry. I love the sepia and brown toned ones for pen and ink. Can;t wait to see what you do with everything.

Those Derwent pencils look amazing! I'd love to see some swatches, although I definitely don't need to feed my pencil addiction 😂
On Chinese and Japanese paper is usually painted on the smooth side, so the ink does not bleed as much as on the other side I have found.
At the beginning I was wondering why the paper I had made the ink bleed so much while the package said that it is slightly absorbent to make it easier for beginners to apply the hard, dry lines when painting more slowly than an experienced person.
In my experience, Asian brushes are also better in the cheap price segment than the cheap western hair brushes that lose hair permanently and have no tension and point.
I have ordered those pencils from derwent and waiting on delivery. I can't wait! 😁
Uni pin fine liners are my favourite pens, I’ve tried all the other brands, but this tip lasts well, and pen is a long lasting too

Always a little scared to watch your hauls cause we have similar taste... It definitely enjoyable! I'd love to see a swatch of those Derwent pencils :) I have ink from the brand you showed, called Dragon blood, how can anyone resist that?? It's lovely.

alyona i love you videos and your hauls, but amazon is not a good place to order. in germany they have the most covid invetions in one place and they dont have a safe working enviroment. while in france, amazon had distribution centers shut down, people can still order from the german amazon distribution centers, which makes a huge problem.

Chinese calligraphy brushes are amazing. However, in general, you won't find a "great" brush of this type for under 30 dollars. If you find a good one, it is worth the investment and will last a lifetime.
not quite, at some point the fine point is roughened and the brush spreads. for coarser things, these are still good to use.
