I know this has been requested for a while now so I hope you enjoy seeing all of my most used materials 😊
Studio of M.M thx for have done this vidéo I have requested it 2 monthes ago so yay I am so happy that you have done it❤❤❤
Studio of M.M Thank sooo much but could you do a short vid on how to sharpen pencils with an exacto-knife?
Funny you should ask that because I actually cut out a time lapse from this week’s Behind the Studio vlog that I made of sharpening my pencil with a knife because it didn’t really fit into the video anywhere. I’ll make sure to include a quick tutorial/demonstration in next week’s :)
thanks a lot It is very helpfull for people abroad as me...then we can buy stuff from michael's or amazon by internet...
Seeing all sorts of art supplies is just so satisfying 🤤. I love seeing other people’s collections!
Thank you for making this video I learned some new things from. Just awesome in how clear you explained all categories. ❤
I’m in Love with artist art supplies
Fantasticaly useful especially the pickup eraser and applicators. Many thanks
Thanks for sharing your list 😊The Tombow Mono Sand Eraser 512A is an essential for me, besides the ones you’ve mentioned. I have them all except your last. The sand eraser has micro particles of sand that will usually remove the most stubborn small boo-boos. It does pull up, just a bit, at the top layer of your paper, so you have to use a delicate hand or it may not be the best kind to use at all. They make one for just “ink” and one that says “ink and pencil.” I use the ink only kind. I figure there’s probably not a lot of difference….maybe the “ink” one is a bit grittier?
OMG! i really like that henna tattoo bottle idea for the masking fluid!!! i need to order one of those! I have been using toothpicks :-( . I use the Pentel Graph 1000 (for pro PG1005) and i love those!! The one's you have are heavier (i like the weight more) but somehow the texture drove my "nerd bump" crazy so i couldn't draw long sessions with them.
I've heard some people use glass dip pens because they're really easy to clean, but it would be for more fine details. Not so good for a larger area
I have the Finetec pearlescent set. Though I think a few of the shades are too similar, I agree with you that hey are better than the DS pearlescent paint.
All great ideas, I was looking for those pucks a long time ago and gave up! Good to see them available now I can find them! :)
thanks for this !! it was super informative and relaxing to watch 💗
I’m going back in blick art supplies
I use a ruling pen to apply masking fluid. Works great!
Me when I saw the smudge glove: "Huh, wonder what those baby tights are for..."
lmao
LOL!
Thank you for this list! You shared some many helpful tips!!!!
Great video and very informative!!
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your favorite supplies! I love the Global Art pencil cases - I have a bunch. You can see them in my videos - I have my Prismacolors in two (I have a couple sets plus some individually ordered). I've been making my own travel watercolor palettes (I will be posting a series on this eventually). I have far too many but it doesn't seem to stop me from getting more!
Love your art supplies.
Ok but that 5m long lead makes me anxious
What about crayola and crazyart?? Have u tried them before?? Are they a bad thing to own??🤔🤔just wondering
I am starting with a set of 8 Prang watercolors. More pigmented than Crayola, not artist level and no pigment info, but works ok for beginner.
@@recoveringsoul755 but is it bad to own crayola and crazyart pencils and markers because there the only kinda of pencils and markers i have right now i cant afford higher quality pencils and markers i dont habe enough room! Im sorry im not tryong to be mesn or snything just saying!🤔🤔
I don't think Crayola are a bad thing to own, they work great for me. I've never tried crazyart though.
@@jeffthejournaler4894 I have Crayola colored pencils, but I recently found I had purchased a small set of 12 Prismacolor colored pencils. They are much softer and lay down more pigment on the paper faster. Nothing wrong with crayola, I think I have 24 of those, but they are just a harder pencil, so you might have to work harder to get the same intensity of color. It's a different tool that makes the job easier and more fun. You can do art with colored Bic Pens and Binder paper, or plain printer paper. You don't need expensive supplies.
They were still shrink wrapped!! I probably got them with a coupon at Michaels for 40% off. Last fall I decided I wanted to try watercolors, and I saw a comment somewhere that Costco had good name brand colored pencils, Poly Chromos I think, right before Christmas. So last November I checked my Costco to see if they had any art supplies. I found a bunch of different sets, but they didn't have any obvious brand names on them. They had Drawing and Calligraphy, which I also wanted, bunch of others and I finally found a Watercolor one. So I got that it was about $17. It had Instruction book 10 sheets of WC paper, (not cotton though), 12 watercolor pencils, 2 drawing pencils, a pencil sharpener, 10 tubes of 5ml watercolor paints and another tube of white Gouache, and a little 6 well pallete, and 3 cheap brushes. I only recently opened it. For $17 I figured I'd keep it. Sometimes Costco sells name brand stuff under some generic name, like dog foods and stuff. I have no idea about this set, it just says ArtBox, or SpiceBox. No pigment numbers or lightfast info.
Check out Lindsay the Frugal Crafter, she recently did a review of a bunch of different colored pencils so you can kind of see how they compare against each other. I don't have much marker experience so I can't speak to the markers specifically
What you’re calling a “masking fluid eraser” used o be called a “rubber cement eraser” or “rubber cement pickup.” This was back in the olden days when graphic artists used a good bit of rubber cement (that has noxious fumes) to adhere all the elements of their projects together. I’m not a graphic artist, but did take a couple of intro courses in that area…a long time ago. Graphic artists or commercial artists, back in the day, were most often found working in advertising agencies or maybe newspapers and publishing houses and had to do commercial art work…by hand. But then the digital world arrived and hand-done advertising mock-ups and hand-drawn/by-hand camera-ready art for publishing became less and less, and so did the use of rubber cement…and thus, rubber cement pick-ups (and rubber cement is still sold in art supply and craft stores….it is an excellent and strong adhesive…but those fumes are really bad.) So those little crapey squares are still good for a lot of other uses uses such as masking fluid and a variety of other stubborn adhesives.
I am most grateful for the very explicit and yet concise explanation of your most used tool . I enjoyed the video along with the music. What was your favourite wood panels to use'what type of light wood ? Thank you again!
I don’t really have a favourite type of wood to draw on, I just use whatever I can buy locally which tends to be birch.
I NEED THE WATER CONTAINER !!!!😁

Prismacolor pencils are not archival I read. I'm wondering, if I spray the UV Archival spray over my Prismacolor drawings, will it change that?

Could you explain a little bit more about de the masking fluid and the raiser? tks
Thanks for a realy nice and informative video!
Does your transfer paper erase well? The brand I use doesn't, no matter how light I push.
LOVE IT
Polychromos are fantastic & most colors are lightfast which is a bonus. I now use them with Derwent's new oil based light fast pencils; which complements the oil based Polychromos, more than offer the same colors. Edit: add both sets... and you have more lightfast colors than Prismacolor.
I use to love Prismacolor but, their quality has really dropped to pathetic levels since the moved their factory to Mexico. I miss the good old days of when the company Venus still made these color pencils before Prisma bought them.
I still have more than a few Venus color pencils. The quality is unbelievable! Hard to believe that these pencils were once considered the best in the world & with good reason (at the time). What a shame!
Hey! Where did you get the giant pencil cases? Please, I'm crazy after them...
Thanks!
They’re from a Canadian art supplies store (Deserres). I’ve heard people having luck finding similar ones on Amazon.
I LOVE IT I LOVE IT .....I LOOOOVEE EVERY SINGLE ITEM THANK YOU VERY MUUCH🤩🤩🤩🤩
Where did you get the pencil holder for you color pencils ?💕
Deserres. Unfortunately they don’t ship outside of Canada. I never realized how strange/rare of a pencil holder it was until I started showing it in videos and everyone started asking about it, haha! I’ve heard of people finding similar ones on Amazon.
fricc that pencil is long lol i wish i had the time to do that
Excellent review!
Hey. I'm a painter and a type 1 diabetic. Hope you are okay
Wonderful information! :3
You deserve more subs ;-;
#notificationsquad #earlysquad oh cool First like and First comment 😄

i WANT crayola pencils set so baaad 😭 i want the biggest one with 120 pencils, but crayola doesnt sell them in russia, amazon doesnt deliver to russia, and the services that deliver goodsd from amazon costs around 30$ 😥120 pencil set costs 20$, the av. salary pe r month is 300$! TO PAY A THIRD PART OF YOUR SALARY FOR PENCILS???????? UGHHHHHH
I recently got that Fabriano Studio hot press paper and it’s absolutely awful. It doesn’t absorb water at all. It’s waaaay too smooth. It’s almost like Bristol paper. The paint just sits on top. You might as well buy Arches with a 40% coupon as the prices aren’t even that much different
But... How would you even get a 40% coupon for that?
How rich are you😂
