Looks pretty cool. I still haven't tried a Falcon emulator yet. I figure my modern PC isn't fast enough to emulate a Falcon! ☺ When i saw the rats, church and bell I immediately thought of that Hagar game you posted recently.

Sorry, forgot to reply with this earlier! Doh. But any PC/Mac should be able to emulate the Falcon. Just grab Hatari and it'll be fine. Well, this game WON'T be as good as on real hardware but it's more than playable. See my website. I can send you Hatari setup info etc

Looks nice! But why Falcon only? The music seems all YM2149 and the graphics could be colour reduced to run on STE or even standard ST.

The specs of how this was converted are detailed in the manual. Translation too much for anything less than a falcon however simple the game might appear. Tbh it’s technically beyond me but reading it kinda made sense..
@@methanoidhey the Falcon can get love too without having to push it’s capabilities;) but I do know what u mean, I thought similar at first. The manual explains it well but, it’s way above my head!
I'm the one who did this Falcon port, and yes - it could definitely be done on an STE. But it would require a lot more work - new graphics that actually looks good in 16 colours only (Falcon version uses 64 colours and high resolution in some places), a lot more code optimisation (using a lot more assembler and a lot less C) and simpler music. Running this game on Hatari unfortunately does not make it justice, it slows down to a crawl for no good reason and the sound effects are barely audible and in some cases not even played. As for the music, it is made with MaxYMizer and even though it does not use the more advanced effects it use quite a lot of CPU. More than MOD music in fact. So in short, making this for the STE would just take more time than I was willing to spend.
@@wunderarnebjarne Just because it's for a Falcon doesn't mean there MUST BE some mega-high standard. Or otherwise don't bother releasing it.... Well, if that makes sense? I was going to say this looks like those annoying fake "pixelart" modern games that require a modern system to run on, only much better. I checked your site and it looks like a 2022 production, so I was half right. Mind you I am not taking anything away from this game, it looks and sounds good, including gameplay.

I never played a Falcon game. Recently I tryed to emulate some games using Hatari, but I wasn’t able. Please could you share the configuration parameters that you used?
