Rock 'n' Roll Clams for ATARI ST/e

- This is Rock n Roll Clams for the Atari ST which is enhanced for Atari STe and Falcon using Blitter and DMA Audio. Okay, this is a weird game which you can read all about here: ataricrypt.blogspot.com/2023/... Apologies for the quality which might be due to the emulator that glitched at times. Plus the game seems to enjoy crashing quite a lot (again probably my emulator). Time stamps and links:
00:45 - first game (it's agony to watch but I did well)
05:35 - I continue onto the next stage! 07:10 - crashes on me!!
07:30 - I played a different level which was really cool in parts.
11:00 - Continued on...
14:10 - Continued on but I had quit it thanks to the controls!!
16:16 - Time for another new level to play. (seaside... buggy)
19:33 - Another new level and this time in Mac's house.
22:47 - And we play a different level...
25:16 - Sigh, let's choose another level. (crashes at the end)
27:40 - Okay, I plodded onto another different level here.
30:15 - Finally, I end with the chip music taken from the ST game (love it)

A STE game! Woo hoo! Looks awesome and sounds awesome to me. Very thorough blog post. I learned more about falling clams than I ever thought possible! 😄 I like how the game utilizes the Ste's sound but you still like the chiptune better. 🤗 I don't blame you, I love the ST's chiptunes too!

Great game! These unique games that targeted the STE are awesome, but far too rare.
yeah i know :( There are lots but nothing compared to the ST games.. sigh
TBH the controls let this one down. I could never master moving vertically under control. I reckon it would be 10 times better with a weaker gravity mechanic. After all you are supposed to be bobbing about in the Ocean. Still, good effort here mate and better than I've ever done (that doesn't say much though)
Yeah I felt similar. Just a weird game I never gelled with. Though we did enjoy the 2-player mode must say
