    Great product, I've been running this setup with similar shocks for more than 6 months on my 2012 baby and it's great, it turns heads and makes it up and over every obstacle where I've taken it.

    Just ordered my TeraFlex 2.5" Coil lift today. Can't wait!

    The install went very well. I have air tools so wrenching is easier. I did have to adjust the drag link a bit to straighten the steering wheel.

    I just installed this lift. I am a pretty decent mechanic. It installed simple, took me 5 hours. I imagine I could do a second one in about 3 hours. 1.5 hours an axle. I added no extras. Just what came in kit 125100 for a 4 door JKU. Drives down the road perfect. No sway, no wandering, not darty, and rides better than stock. I did everything with 1 floor jack and 2 jack stands. You do need to know your way around a vehicle and know how a suspension system works to install this. If you are a guy who gets nervous changing their own oil, then this kit isn't something you want to tackle. If you aren't afraid to tear an engine apart, or put a clutch in your jeep, then don't try it.

    The newer version of the swaybar links do not require grease. So no worries.

    The instructions that came with my lift didn't mention the rear sway bar links being installed on the front. I kept the oem links on the front and everything works great. This lift made our 2015 Rubi ride better. I'm glad we went with the full spring lift instead of the puck lift. I've heard the Teraflex springs ride better than the stock springs with pucks.

      be careful doing that on the rubicon. the sway bar must be +/- 5 degrees from level when at ride height or when you use the electronic swaybar disconnect it will damage it, big bucks! $$$

    Great video was able to install it myself. I did however when I was lowering the rear axle disconnected the breathing tube. I connected right away. Is that a problem?

    After installation of the rear part I have noticed a significant lateral shift of the rear axle - it is off center with the chassis. I am wondering why the track bar relocation bracket did not provide appropriate correction.

    Can anyone suggest the ideal way to get the bolt, on top of the front passenger shock, off and on? I don't see enough space to get any kind of wrench up in there on my 2012 Rubi.
    I'd also add that this project is much harder than it looks. The video doesn't address the challenges you run into when using jack stands and hand tools, which I'd guess is most of us. Even worse the instructions/kit aren't right; they gave me grease valves for the sway bar links that appear to be "extra".

    i have a 2.5' lift on my 2012 wrangler and i just got in the upper and lower front adjustable short flex control arms form Teraflex. My caster is way off and i cant get the alignment done right so that's why i bought the adjustable control arms. I was wondering if you guys could help me out with the measurements for the arms so i can get the car aligned properly !!!

    No they are 2 different items, you only need the rear axle bracket.

    The teraflex rear sway bar link bolts dug into my rear brake lines! I had to remove them and cut about 5mm off the bolt so they wouldnt make contact again :(
    Im not the first person to have this issue

    Why do you need to drill for the rear trackbar bracket? Or is this an old model kit? The ones I saw at quadratec dont say any drilling is required.

    • @teraflexsuspensions
      @teraflexsuspensions  4 роки тому

      At 3" you are at the borderline. Your actual lift height will vary with the weight of the vehicle and accessories. If you are compensating for lift loss due to spring compression, then you should be fine without. But if you get the full 3" of lift, then you will want to start considering at least front lowers and rear uppers for the JK. Give us a call anytime to discuss in more detail. 801-713-3314

      With a 2.5 they are going to be more optional. But highly recommended when running bigger tires.

    I installed this last night in a few hours great easy install do I need a wheel alignment now?

    • @teraflexsuspensions
      @teraflexsuspensions  4 роки тому +1

      Nope, since you did not remove any control arms or mess with any steering, you shouldn't need to get an alignment. If you added a heavy duty adjustable track bar, just make sure it is centered up, and you're good to go.

    • @teraflexsuspensions
      @teraflexsuspensions  4 роки тому

      Yes, you can for sure run 35's and stock fenders with this 2.5" kit. Flat fenders. even better. You will also need to make sure your wheels have the correct backspacing. 4.5" or less is required for this kit. Give us a call anytime to discuss options and find out what is best for your application. 801-713-3314.

    • @teraflexsuspensions
      @teraflexsuspensions  3 роки тому

      If you have a 4.5" or less backspacing on your rims, you should be able to clear 37's on a 2.5" lift with cut fenders on a lighter Jeep. If it is a heavier rig (steel bumpers etc) you may need to add a .5" spacer. as well.
