I sometimes let your episodes play all day while working, some of the most satisfying ones I remember were when you would service the Jeep.

Well done Chris. I know how much you love Orangie.
Looks great. New engine, new shocks and springs. She's ready to go.
    Adventure is afoot.

When I was driving home from Arizona yesterday, I passed an orange mustang that had the license plate ORANGIE. And all I could think was, that's on the wrong vehicle. 🤣

When my friends and I had a 4Wheel drive shop here in Colorado, we did a number of these coil spring replacements. We would go to Autozone and borrow an outside the coil spring compressor. Made very quick work of the Springs. Would also wd40 the bump stops and holders to get them in easier. Overall nice job Chris.

Orangie has everything you need for exploring like you do…and nothing you don’t.
It has taken you to more places than most people dream of seeing in a lifetime.
After all these years, who can argue with your experience?

From being laid on its side in Canada to all the off roading and rock climbing and over 100K miles Oangie still looks like a new jeep. Chris you have taken awesome care of your beautiful child. Now off to a new adventure afoot. Have a super blessed week. I just read the video and miller time didn't look like a miller to me LMAO.

Aev is good stuff. Real workhorse off road. Not fancy but quality and it works flawlessly. I replaced the aev 5100s to the aev 8100 bypass shocks and while expensive it was a huge upgrade in handing and off road performance.

Great video. Love Orangey. I’m the opposite, I wash the undercarriage before I do suspension work to remove excess dried mud and sand.

Good tips here thanks! Man I could not get the front stab link off!! The top nut was "fused" the the bar. I did get the 4 shocks, coil springs, steering stabilizer, rear stab links and rear lower control arms though!

Thanks for sharing Chris, nice job with the maintaining of your JK! That was hilarious washing your Jeep after you did the work. Last week I did the same thing, I’m still digging dirt and sand out of my eyes. 🤪 And thanks for sharing your tire size, I appreciate it!

Remove the fuse box, then drill hole through plastic where the top of the shock is to gain access. Reinstall fuse box. Easy.

This is a cool way to change the springs
I have seen others disconnect the swaybar and control arms.
Which seems to be a bit more work .
Curious if you can just support the frame and then use spring compressor

Jack up the axle without the spring to put the bump stops in. A little grease or dish soap and they go right in. A floor jack and concrete make the job SO much easier!

    HI CHRIS 👋
YOU MADE IT LOOK EASY ! I WAS GOING TO SAY / BUT YOU FIGURED IT OUT ON THE SECOND ONE / BUMP STOP / I LIKE THE RACHET STRAP , IDEA 💡
YOU MADE ME THINK 🤔 I SHOULD GO SEE 👀 HOW MUCH MY FRONT COIL SPRINGS WOULD COST WHEN MY NEPHEW & I REPLACE THE FRONT SUSPENSION ON TASTY . SO I CAN GET A FRONT END ALIGNMENT JUST ONCE . THANKS 😊 GET THE LEAF SPRINGS FOR THE REAR WHEN I HAVE THE FUNDS . THEY'VE GOTTEN A LOT OF MILES & YEARS ON THEM . MAYBE A LITTLE WEIGHT EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE TOO .
BEEN GETTING A LOT OF RAIN 🌧 STORMS HERE ON THE EASTERN COAST . HELPING EVERYTHING GROWING & BLOOMING 🎉 BE SAFE ☺️ 🙏 HAVE FUN ☺️ 🙏 ENJOYED ❤GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 🙏 THANK YOU ! ☺️ 🙏
