NO ONE HAS THIS CLEAN A GARAGE
I do
I'm working on mine....!
I have NEVER seen a torsion spring EVER twist that badly with the door in ANY position.
As a matter of fact by the looks of it I would be taking cover... 2:48

On the door reversal test, the 2x4 should be placed flat so the gap between the floor and the door is 2 (not 4 as shown in 0:46). Instead of carburetor cleaner (as shown in 1:35), use a non-toxic degreaser such as Simple Green or water with Dawn dish detergent.
back up battery? Never had one of those.
Bonne Naturel that's because your parents don't love you.
Garage? Never had those either
Not a big deal if power goes out just lift it manually

Not If you're on the outside.
This guide misses the most important part: Re-grease the stupid plastic nylon gears inside the lift unit. Once the grease dries out (~10 years in regular climates), the gears turn into snow and fail.
If only life was this simple
Actually spraying some lubricant on the tracks won’t cause the door to slip and become unbalanced. Spraying lubricant on the tracks will help the door roll smoothly. I’ve been doing this for 7 years, never had any issues with this.
Hey Liftmaster 1280,
Speaking of spraying lubricant how is that mother of yours
Sincerely, Lil Peep
im sorry?
Piper seems to be a troll. - Pro20, I have simply lubricated the wheels and hinged sections to keep squeaking down to a minimum and that seems to work great. The wheels are generally a poly material and don't squeak anyways, just the metal bearings and hinges.
Lubing the tracks and rollers are great idea to prevent wear on the door
Same here 👍🏻
Monthly.🤔
