Valentina, the girl who won in 2020, was 11 years old then, and Viki, who won the year before, was 12 years old, so there wasn't much of a difference. The age range for Junior Eurovision is from 9 to 14 years :))
The main differences with the Eurovision Song Contest are that in the junior version, the song must be predominantly in the language of the country it represents, and viewers can vote for their own country.
To me the best or most interesting one rarely win here... Same as Eurovision. Spain 2019 was great, Georgia almost always too. The "not my soul" girl from Malta actually did Eurovision in 2021 which I think you already watched btw. "je me casse". A few others too, the Russian twins did in 2014 and Iru from Georgia in 2022
Valentina winner of JESC 2020 from France with J'imagine is my favorite❤❤JESC has the same voting system as ESC 50% jury votes 50% televotes Valentina is the first winner from France and she got the majority in both juries and public voting❤❤France has 3 victories in the contest in 2020 2022 2023 but this year JESC will be hosted by the runner up Spain
@@PopRockBandGr that's what I mean by that (sorry but where I'm from there's no difference between televoting and online voting we use the same word "televoting")
My favorites are: Spain (2004), Belarus (2005), Netherlands (2009) and Poland (2019). Croatia 2003 was nice, too. Yeah i'm more a fan of 2000s contests, probably because i was a kid myself too back then😅 but my fav ever JESC song would be Denmark 2003, so if you ever have time for some more reactions i can recommend you that one😊
